Hey guys! Just an update from me, I recently learned that Sticker Mule has some rather terrible beliefs and values that I absolutely do not agree with, and I can't really believe I didn't know about them sooner - my complete and total bad. Moving forward, I have found new sticker manufacturers to work with that are more aligned to my professional and personal values. Thanks for being here, for watching, and for supporting me through these hiccups and mistakes. Doing more research into the brands I work with is a huge lesson learned, and I hope my slip-up can help you avoid similar situations! ❤

H○LY $H!T!! I HAD THAT EXACT DRESSER. The old one in the corner, the one from like the 50s-ish.
I am maybe 5min into the video but I saw that and lost my freaking mind. It's not like we both have the same dresser from flippin Ikea. That exact dresser was the one I used my whole childhood. Same detail at the top, same "antiqued" brass drawer pulls that I spent literal hours staring at when I was 4-5yrs old trying to figure WHAT they were because it is such a confounding shape.
I am well aware that this is only interesting to me, and literally not one other person on the face of the frikkin planet will be nearly as impressed as I am. (Actually no, I am *not* high, thankyewverrahmuch.) In fact, this probably makes me look weird af.
Okay. One sided bonding moment done.
I'm an artist too, I do all sorts of watercolor but for backgrounds on character illustrations I love to work with these hypergranulating paints that I think would be SO pretty behind some of your prints. I think it would have to be on hot press rag in order for both the paints to granulate and the lino to print smoothly, and hot press is tougher for granulation. But oooo, it would be gorgeous. I just got new pigments in from Thailand.
I'm going to shut up before you think I'm a stalker.

I am so glad that our art teacher put lino cutting in our curriculum back in elementary school cause I never would have known about this artistic expression! And thank you, Kacie, for bringing it to the youtube ASMR genre ;) Not enough ppl know about this fun and satisfying art expression and I'm one of those ppl who thinks art methods NEED to be taught to us when we're young, whether we like it or not. I never would've known I had a talent for it and other things e.g. wire sculpting, pottery (w/out wheel), metal prints, paper mache sculpting, etc. I firmly believe that teaching art is just as important as math, english and history classes. New subscriber here and I really hope to see more (back to binge-catching-up-watching)

Thank you for speaking about some of the anxieties that come with working as a full time artist. I think social media can sometimes make it out to be this dream job where you just do what you love all day and it's all sunshine and rainbows, but there's a lot of worry and cloudy days too. Anyway, I think you're killing it and I hope things have picked up for you.

1000% understand the business woes and especially the anxiety around money! I make stained glass stuff and man it’s tough, the constant expenses vs what sells can really create such a stressful time. You’re amazing and you create such beautiful pieces, I have no doubt you’ll work hard and make enough that one day you’ll find you aren’t as worried 🖤
