Loved seeing Cara, particularly when she was flipping the pecan brittle. Hitting the back wall is what happens when you're strong :) Really enjoyed seeing Julia and Leah also!
We are blessed that you let us see what you do in your family's candy business. Your channel supporters, Sonja and Christopher. I am trying to figure out how you can make candy all day long and not eat it all gone. Happy Easter and God bless you, your family, your friends, and subscribers.
I love watching yous in North Carolina. I live your channel on for my pets all night. I love Kerra she is so sweet and pretty. Your mom and dad are amazing and great owners. 👍 You are great with the videos. I am amazed at how candy is made.
Pure salt is NaCl sodium chloride which is two elements together. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 which is 4 elements together. Both are naturally occurring.
I must have missed a video. Where did Julia come from and what’s her story? It seems like she has some candy making experience. She has confidence. I like her!
Everything looks so delicious, brittle, caramel-pecan nuggets and burgers, potato chip bunnies…all you need to do is add a salad and it’ll be a balanced meal!👏😋
I think it would cool down too fast to stretch it if they cut the batch in eighths, they would need double the amount of candy makers to make that method effective. It's much easier to thin out hard candy if the center stays warm. They used to only do 3 segments even and it did fine, the only reason they started doing 4 was to make it easier to handle during the transition from the cooling table to the counter.
That is the coolest. I mean Steve saved that place and I love that the family will carry on Steve and Terry's legacy. As always much love and God bless.
@Hercules Candy But mom/dad, what about me? I know I haven't come home, well, ever, but I thought I would be the one! You have stolen my Patrimony from me.... *Cries* haha
Video idea : you guys have done videos of you watching videos before , watch Hannah Ricketts’ most recent tour of Harrods in London, showcasing all of the Easter, chocolates and sculptures, and wow like holy mack 👀 And to be a little Easter whacky maybe have Steve play some guitar riffs ? while being amazed ! 😅
I'm gonna say Supersour Jelly beans. Multi flavour but SOUR. I wish I could put sound effects onto words because then it would be Du Du Du Duh, SOUR. Mmm Love your banter slightly more than Supersour anything so thanks guys...
@@HerculesCandy I don't know if you guys have or not yet, but I know myself and the other fans of yours would love to hear about your family history ❤ btw getting ready to place another order 😊 My daughter lived in West Harford CT & I'm hoping she will drive up and pick some things up for me soon lol.....I know she will love your candy as much as I do.
The workers are the Oompa Loompas. If Kara worked at Willy Wonka's, she would be the Oompa Loompa. Kara:"I don't know how to be gentle." That's something an Oompa Loompa would say. Also, minerals are the individual chemical compounds that make up rocks. Salt is a chemical compound, so it is a mineral. "Rock salt" is an industrial term, not a scientific term.
I can see how the floppy bunny could be creepy, but I also see it as cute. It's like a misfit....I always find the misfits cute....guess it's my soft heart.
Dude’s right, that some of those bunnies are creepy and I wouldn’t go to sleep with them in the room. Can’t imagine a shelf of those staring atcha in the store. Bunny in profile. That’ll cure that.
Not quite sure why some are knocking products ..... dude, not right. Ok to tease a bit, but don't knock it down. Always have the business in mind when you make remarks. Good job, Julia! :)
Cooper hasn't had his day, he looks tired 😴 and to come back on the salt there is so many different kinde of salt in the world that we can put on our food. Rock salt from the sea and mountains and grinder salt for candy and taste improvements. Don't get in too deep on it 😅
So proud if Cara wants to continue the family legacy..❤❤
She is a special daughter. So thankful that Steve knows his legacy won't die with him. Bless you, Cara!
M 96 year old mother loves your peanut brittle. Had two bags delivered to her a couple months ago. Thank you for your timely delivery. ❤️
Cara
Has come along in leaps and bounds, I think she can do everything they make! And does it well! And is always so cheerful !
Brittle making is my favorite; the reaction when baking soda is added, the sounds of the pour and the cutting with scissors 🎉🎉
same. The soda reaction and then the sound and visuals of the pour and spreading with the knife are extremely satisfying.
There's a lot to love!
Great job Julia! Welcome to the Hercules family 🥰🥰
Loved seeing Cara, particularly when she was flipping the pecan brittle. Hitting the back wall is what happens when you're strong :)
Really enjoyed seeing Julia and Leah also!
She's just too strong for her own good!
I wonder if they ever made chocolate covered brittle?
Welcome Julia! This was a fun video to watch. Scott you are a hoot!!!
Welcome Julia!
It’s satisfying to see the brittle come out of the enrober all perfect.

The taste gets boring, I used to work in a sweet/candy factory

Welcome, Julia!! You will be learning from the best!!
I've been watching since the basement days. It's always exciting to see new faces. Welcome Julia.
I love the brittle videos the most. ITs always so satisfying. One of these days, I'll actually be able to get some ordered!
The pecan brittle is so delicious! You heard it from Linda the apron lady! Fact!
Actually all of their brittles are great!
It’s so crazy seeing a girl I used to go to school with pop up on my RUclips so unexpectedly!!
The look on dads face when Cara throws the brittle against the wall 😮……. I bet it was tough giving up control of those things.
Cara has some of Steve’s facial expressions down for sure lol
I needed this video today. Thank you🥰🥰
Pure salt is NaCl sodium chloride which is two elements together. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 which is 4 elements together. Both are naturally occurring.
That brittle looks absolutely delicious!
That's song was 'Sugar, Sugar' by The Archies (from their cartoon show)
I think the longer pull you can get on the brittle the better. The thin pieces are like butter in your mouth.
Love your apron Leah🥰🥰
I must have missed a video. Where did Julia come from and what’s her story? It seems like she has some candy making experience. She has confidence. I like her!
I would never tell her to her face but she's a wonderful person and a gifted artist
I love that the paper that Steve has politely says "Please" next to the stuff for Cooper, and Cara and Julia.....but there's no please for Steve.... 😂
I love the crinkle sounds of the bags! :)
Always welcome the newbies🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love how the new person is wearing a Hersheys shirt 🤣
Everything looks so delicious, brittle, caramel-pecan nuggets and burgers, potato chip bunnies…all you need to do is add a salad and it’ll be a balanced meal!👏😋
Awesome!
Yummy! Pecan brittle is amazingly delicious!
Yas Cara!!!
Terry and Cara are so cute together.
Could watch all the videos over and over
From 16:30 thru 16:50 is someone playing heavy metal in the background? If so what band? 🤘
Hey Cara, Syracuse is salt city - it comes from where you are. 👍🏼
Pecan brittle is my favorite!
I like to see you guys make the big peanut cup the thick ones
Haha those bunnies 🐰 😂😂😂
Welcome to the newbie 😀👋
Dang my mouth is watering 😁.... Taylor Texas...
Do you get to take home the caramel tail pieces?
Is no one else going to comment on Cooper's *amazing* Mr. Rogers apron? ❤❤❤
He’s been wearing it a couple of weeks. I think we have all commented. Where have you been?
The way it foamed was so neat. What if you didn't get rid of that by flattening it? What would the texture be?
Wouldn't it be easier to stretch if you cut each of the 4ths in half? Easier access to the center?

You’ll need to put crushed a potato chips in your peanut butter cups give Reeces a run for their money
Got my chocolate bunnies! It's been a family tradition since I was a kid.
Who is running hercules candy when the parents are ready to retire.
Good question! Cara is planning on taking over!
That is the coolest. I mean Steve saved that place and I love that the family will carry on Steve and Terry's legacy. As always much love and God bless.

Can I move from Texas ( I’m 70) and move up there and work at HERCULES CANDY,, lol not really but that would have been fun,, so happy it’s family…
Bro those marshmallows Steve was doing are pretty impressive

Sheet brittle!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!
Blue raspberry creams are the best next too very cherry creams
My opinion the Floppy ear with the eyes 😢 is Creepy. The one with the bow is sweet.
When are you guys making more PBJ ribbons? I’ve never tried them but I really want to!
I'm gonna say Supersour Jelly beans. Multi flavour but SOUR. I wish I could put sound effects onto words because then it would be Du Du Du Duh, SOUR. Mmm

I've seen a "sheet brittle" type of candy sold, it comes with a little hammer!
Salt is actually a compound of Sodium and Chloride (NaCl). 😉
You sound bitter…
I like floppy eared bunnies.
Has those copper kettles been in your family for a long time or are they something you guys got later on?
Yes, they're actually quite old
@@HerculesCandy that's why the candy tastes so good!

I like the floppy eared one tooooooo ❤❤❤ salt is a mineral.
I wonder how chocolate covered pancakes would be
Salt is a mineral! My husband is a Geologist ❤

What does the baking soda do? In the pecan brittle

You were asking about family history, you will get some information here.

raise your hand if you would buy sheet brittle ✋
Salt is sodium chloride and it is a crystal
you gotta save this slow julia footage so you can put it next to super fast footage later when she's haster
Cara will need to curb her sarcasm a bit to be a manager/owner

She is not quite as DINGY as her Mother...and that's a good thing...a very nice family business and that is wonderful.
Mt from AZ go girl go
I would hate stretching the brittle...doesn't look easy...
Hi, can use a rolling pin to flatten the Brit’s batch….
What brand of marshmallows do you use for the vegan marshmallows?
Dandies
Is Cooper ok? Hope he is. He doesn’t smile often anymore 😢
He said he was tired. Do you smile every day at work?
Where is max? Haven’t seen him in a while unless I’m blind lol
Max left for a different job. And because he is a very private person that is all that he wanted to reveal.
What happened to bean pole guy? He was always a good laugh.
I believe left for family reasons.
The bunnys well be fun at halloween
i think scott is liking the new girl
How many kids do Steve and terry have?
I believe 3, the two daughters Cara (makes candy) and Leah (packag s candy) and Graig the camera fellow

New job (2021)
i like cara she is kind of cute
The point of stretching the brittle is to make it thin enough to criminalize your mouth but not break your teeth.
Theres no umphluphlua . Lol!!

marshmellows aren't vegan though
Some brands are, same here in the U.K.
I didn’t know vegan marshmallows existed!😊
Non animal gelatin.

You should read the book by JK Rowling The Christmas Pig. I think there's a wonky rabbit in that book.
Last time I got brittle from you guys it tasted over cooked.
Cooper stop patting the brittle!
