    Welcome Tenno, the game is over a decade old with a ton of systems. Lots of it can be confusing for a new player but this is a very welcoming community. The vets love helping new players!

      that will depend on his chat,take cross's chat for example full of misinformation and people thinking they know how a streamer should play

      The biggest problem is you need an entire wiki to play the game as a new player...there is absolutely no tutorial to any systems at all. Not for the old or newest content.... I'm a new player btw.... The only reason I didn't quit is because my friend plays the game actively and I have help with all the confusing things this game throws at you non top.

      @shikimoriamv1145 oh I agree, there are some that are a bit too eager to knowledge drop. And definitely some of it being outdated or inaccurate

      @favayala42 4 дня назад +3

      @UmbraWeiss totally understand, I've learned the game the hard way. With the backlog of content, there's lots of systems to learn. Sometimes, we the player have to slow down a little and take time to read or listen to dialogue
      The devs have been making huge strides to making it easier for new players. It still has a way to go but I can tell it's definitely heading in the right direction

    First quest of the game is more to show you a lot of the mission types you will do early on so that are not too hard. The premium currency is platinum. You can eventually sell things to other players for it but all the weapons and frames in the game you can earn and farm. When you are looking at the market it will tell you where you can farm the frame your looking at and then sell you the blueprint for that frame for credits. Same with weapons for those you can't just outright buy the blueprint for. It will tell you where you can get it. There are also some weapons early on you can just buy for credits. Best thing I can say is take your time. There is no rush and the content isn't going anywhere so you have plenty of time to learn the systems as you go.

      Yeah there's like, 10 years worth of content at this point, and pretty much all of the early game is just real easy until around Jupiter and Deimos or so, when the difficulty actually starts to kick in a bit and the game expects you to at least understand a bit of about how modding your gear works.

    Welcome to the cause Tenno. Warframe players are, for the most part, really chill and happy to help explain anything that confuses you. We love helping baby Tennos learn the ropes.
    Also, until the Second Dream and The War Within, the game hasn't really started. Once you are there, then things really get going.

  • @daveofyorkshire301
    @daveofyorkshire301 4 дня назад +10

    There's almost 60 Warframes, hundreds of weapons and the story goes on for hundreds of hours, the training is about 50.
    Don't try and leap ahead, just play the tutorial until you've unlocked several planets. By then you'll have more Warframes and weapons, only spend platinum on slots for Warframes and weapons and only when you need them.
    The tutorial is good, stuck with it and don't get ahead of yourself. Learn through doing, and acquire through playing.

    What's hilarious about this game is you can kill the boss and receive messages after they are lying dead in front of you.

      It’s funnier in Duviri because Captain Vor actually stops mid sentence if he’s killed and they gave him extra lines so he will talk for like 3 minutes if you don’t

      The emails aren’t from the bosses, they’re from the Stalker. Some do keep talking after they die though.

    Almost every map has hidden treasure rooms, many have full puzzle rooms with high loot returns. If you bother to look around. The early game benefits greatly by looting these areas.

    3200 hours of mission time myself so i will say best thing you can do is get someone over your shoulder for the first 20 hours because nothing is explained in this game and its 99% mentor info that is most helpful.
    It will be easy until its not and this will hit around deimos area on the star chart.
    Dont be afraid to get a friend boost to build the basics because its not streaming friendly if you chose to go solo and do it yourself.
    2 tips, do your quests and join a clan. (don't start your own clan)

    • @QuantumButler
      @QuantumButler 4 дня назад +1

      A lot of What Is explained is like, in codex menus and stuff, you can of course learn it yourself but it is very helpful to have someone who plays the game already to ask questions, in my experience a lot of people even just in general chat in game are pretty helpful , and one of the favorite pastimes of old vets in this game is to help sherpa new players.
      I even personally kept my starter warframe and starter weapons and have it all configured in a "this build is suitable for helping out new players" way myself and a lot of my clannmates did something similar too.

    If you can do keyboard & mouse, you'll be less limited in speed/mobility. Whichever you prefer tho.
    Also, turning off 'Hold to Sprint' in the Accessibility tab is a good idea, since it lets you to toggle sprint on, simplifying your controls.

    its hard to really say what warframe is, the best advice is to just play the game and learn as you go, tons of people in the community and even in the ingame chat are willing to help

    • @Graegoyle
      @Graegoyle 3 дня назад

      You can change FOV [Field Of View--how much you see] not POV [Point Of View--first person (not available) and third person (this is permanently locked)]. go to Escape Menu > Options > Video tab.
      For new Players: Change to Solo Mode until you are familiar with the game: Go to the Star Chart (the planet/mission Node selection), move your mouse to the upper left "person" icon and click "Solo". You can change this before missions but some Quests are solo only. In Solo Mode, the Escape menu usually pauses the game.
      Spend your starting free Platinum on Warframe and weapon slots.
      Almost all items can be earned through gameplay; the only things that can only be purchased with Platinum (premium currency) or cash are only SOME cosmetics: Many, many cosmetics can be earned through gameplay.

    Welcome, welcome ^^
    Take your time, progress through the game on the path you see. The more you explore each thing you find in turn, the better you'll do down the line.
    Don't 'Rush' any builds in your Foundry, it's a waste of the Premium Currency you get at the start, and as soon as you unlock the Nightwave system (the free battle-pass), start doing the tasks on the list each day. You'll be surprised what you can earn.
    And if you can, get some advice on Modding, what the different things like 'elements' do, and what the different Warframe Abilities do. It's a pretty in-depth system and knowing it better will seriously improve what you can do in the game.
    But most importantly? Play it to have fun killing things as a hyper-mobile war machine. There is so much to come ^^

    @4Th30neAndOnly_7 4 дня назад

    Welcome to Warframe, you don't have to spend a dime to play, skins don't affect the gameplay like "other" game. Platinum, our marketing currency can be obtained out of thin air, with it you can buy 90% of what's available inside the game.
    Warframe is a very sophisticated game in terms of loadout building and mechanics, gameplay/lore wise fairly difficult to understand without a guide.
    Don't rush the game and focus on one thing at a time.

      @@formosamortem What mission in 1999?

    • @formosamortem
      @formosamortem 4 дня назад +2

      @@Kserijaro Hell Scrub, A rotation has 40% chance for 600 Endo, B has 28% for 1000 Endo, and C rotation has ~32% for 1600. Theoretically if you get only endo rewards, you could get 3800 Endo in 20 minutes, plus they have 15, 50 and 80 Endo drops for almost every enemy and with a Nekros on the team you reap hundreds from just the enemies.
      Plus the bounties range in rewards from 600 for T1 to 4200 for T5/6 bounties.
      If you get lucky a 20 minute Hellscrub T5 bounty could net you 8k Endo.
      As for Zaramin T4/5 Bounties have 21% chance to get at least 3000 Endo, 4000 if you get the rare Endo. You get an easy T5 Void Flood or Exterminate and you could get in and out in a matter of minutes. Had a team yesterday that ran through an Angel Hunt Void Flood in 5 minutes max. I got something like 12k in a hour-ish

      They are truly two entirely different games! I have about the same amount of hours in D2 and it's more about finding something to sink my teeth into since Destiny is in such a weird place.
