Day 1 SERIOUS MASS Weight Gainer Shakes EXPERIMENT - weigh in and blood sugar check

- Experimenting with high calorie shakes for ultimate mass gains…of course I will continue to consume at least 4,000 calories of real food a day ideally getting 5,000 calories and then throwing the mass shake on top of that for ULTIMATE MASS
Eric I literally did the Serious Mass experiment myself last year. The result was an alarming amount of diarrhea. Currently writing the paper up. I'm going to title it 'Serious Ass'.
After 5 days on it, it genuinely gave me diarrhea - fun times 😂
I covered the M with black marker after my first week of taking it daily. Great minds think alike
Yeah this crap is awful, consuming mass amounts of Maltodextrin is NOT healthy nor recommended.
I did it for a bit when i was 20 and got seriously bad gas.
You took too much. Half the dose and it works
How frequently should I update you guys on this experiment? Obviously waist and diabetes gains won’t happen on a daily basis…every other day? Every week? Or just everyday for gigs?
every week is good
Every week
BIGGER BY THE DAY BUGEZ EDITION
Every week for the optimal check ins pros and cons of what you’re dealing with would be good too holy father of mass
Every week sounds good. You could extend the experiment by doing a phase of adding fiber and antioxidants to the ol sugar shake to see if that blunts the blood sugar spike - flaxseeds, berries etc
Gotta appreciate when the professor of mass and hypertrophy gives a lecture🙏🏻
Even the dog came closer to him at 3:53 to absorb all the knowledge
Ricky is at a real risk of becoming a black hole if he gets any more dense
Underrated comment. Lol
he does make a lot of wwe superstars look small
I hope he doesn't eat me
@@pzpinkslip123 The chances of getting eaten by Eric are low but never 0
Impossible. More like black bulge.
Please keep making these videos everyday. These videos are very entertaining and educational. I been following your advice lately by eating 2 big bananas, 3 fig bars, a scoop of protein, 4 packs of oat meal, 3 PB Js, half a gallon of milk, some fatty fish, and having some dark chocolate. I'm going become a God soon.
I would like to see a lecture on how to sleep for mass gain.
I'm having a terrible time sleeping guys
Have you ever asked yourself how these people nationwide work overnight? The answer: blackout curtains. Also you can take this vitamin it's called melatonin. Take it.
You could also buy a sleep mask, it's how mfers fall asleep on airplanes
@@eltonwild5648make sure you drink a lot of water. Staying hydrated definitely helps my sleep and my recovery the next day.
This may sound weird - but make sure you’re tired when you go to sleep. I work construction, so I wake up at 3:30am to go to the gym and am home by 6:30pm. By the time I go to sleep @ 8-9pm, I’m bout ready to pass tf out.
@@eltonwild5648 Maybe try breathing strips for your nose? I found that they helped me immensely. I also will like to lay a pillow behind my shoulders to stretch the lower-mid part of my spine.
or morbidly obese
After the recent pbj vids and the historical 8 choclate chip cookies a day, fanny pack of treats, maple syrup chugs, bags of ancient grains and the decade long GOMAD experiment.....having at least one video with blood sugar testing sounds like a great idea.
I'm laughing my ass off at this comment, jeez
Will mass be gained? What’s your opinion
It shall be gained! 💪
Yeah.
im scared for the toilet bowls youre about to sit on
Mass shall be gained, but through inhibition of gut motility and a stifling of your fiery metabolic engine. The preferred path is through the building of lean dense striated tissue as you know, but in combination with your rigorous training routine the outcome will be interesting.
Sticky rickys bulbous horsecock mass gainer. Hitting the shelves this summer 😂😂
This is what I’ve been waiting for a MASS GAINER EXPERIMENT with insane regimen and ingestion
300 pounds and he's just getting started.
Eric, you should get a CONTINUOUS Glucose Monitor for this experiment. It measures your blood sugar and tracks it in real time. So you can see the effect with and without the glucose disposal agent. Also if you take the mass gainer post workout vs pre-workout and intra-workout.
Rikky really is the gym bro that hit it big but never forgot that he’s a gym bro and he’s still doing stuff like this for us
I’m stoked to see this Journey I remember using so many of the mass gainers in my late teens and it’s refreshing to hear you mention some of them hahaha
Hey man, I appreciate you. I started working out after finding your channel like 2 years ago. I was definition nerd neck (135lb at 6’2”).
I just hit 160 for the first time, and your videos have kept me going to the gym (and the kitchen)!

Holy hell, 135lbs at 6'2" must have been scary skinny. Good on you for making a healthy change!
@@Nebulaoblivion i was in medical school at the time and working an insane amount, cant even describe to you the energy difference I had once I started taking care of my health by lifting regularly and eating more!
@@Autipsy Hell yeah, I know when I started lifting, I was pretty underweight too, 120lbs at about 5'9" I was always tired and had almost constant headaches and brain fog, but lifting and eating cleared that right up, and then some!
Rich's legacy lives on
The only science experiment I have ever cared about in my life
Literally the only one of any importance
Bananas, Peanut Butter, Coconut Oil, Oats, Milk, Protein Powder, that's healthy version of SERIOUS MASSS
Man's about to have a gravitational pull of his own with all of the mass accumulated.
I’m a a type 1 diabetic and something I got from Stan efferding to help manage my blood sugar is going for a ten minute walk after eating. It genuinely helps, he claims it’s more than type 2 diabetes medication and it makes sense. It makes you much more insulin sensitive.
Stan is a smart guy. Whatever he says I believe.
3:08 - 3:16 is probably the funniest thing I have ever heard on the internet. LOL!!

Blood sugar/glucose/insulin levels are determined by not only what you eat, but how often you eat. If you eat 4-5 times a day, you literally don't have time for your blood sugar/insulin levels to drop before your next meal. Also, if you eat meat and/or nuts, it takes a minimum of 4 hrs to digest fully. It's like eating meals back-to-back without any rest. I eat twice a day, and have fasted the past 3 Sundays. Of course I'm not exactly bulking, but we should all take considerable time off at some point from eating to give our bodies a break. If you will deload your weights but not deload your gut, what's the point?
Do bodies really need a break though? What is your proof of this?
@@pattybaselines yes. Digestion is one of the major stresses on the body. Our bodies literally can't get rid of some things and heal scar tissue well until we fast for extended periods of time. Digestion can take up to 80% of our blood flow and oxygen when doing so. Hence why people can get tired after meals. Diabetics eat all the time because they became diabetic from eating so often with junk food that their bodies have a strong resistance to insulin, thus needing the needle to live. Fasting increases insulin sensitivity, and keeps the body healthy. Literally World's Strongest Man 2019 Martins Licis (he was 6'3" 360 lbs on competition day in his prime) was instructed to fast one day a week at one point to keep his insulin resistance low.
cant believe how many tons of bricks you got hit by and lived to tell the tale
A couple years back I experimented with taking a half-scoop daily of Serious Mass to supplement my bulk. It definitely worked as it helped push me past my caloric threshold easier than practically any other method I had tried up to that point, but as others have mentioned my digestive system didn't exactly thank me for it 😅
I have become mass destroyer of calories
Thank you sticky Ricky for sacrificing your body for our gains.
i dont look at ricks face when he talks I just observe how the light reflects around his delts arms and chest
Soy meal animal feed might be worth an experiment. It’s used to feed horses too.

The dramatic reveal of the blood glucose meter hiding behind the mass gainer would was cinematographic, Hollywoodesque...

Momma's ability to acquire supraphysiological levels of succulent angles throughout the duration of sticky Ricky's Bulbous Mass Gaining PhD course lecture is literally leaving humanity behind in terms of youtube fitness content standards.
Dear Professor of Mutant Mass, Hypertrophy, and Bulbous Living,
For your next experiment, please look into Rich’s claims about eating rice and protein once a day and then just eating white rice every other meal. I think that was towards the end of his final bulk but maybe god called him home for unlocking the true #secret of swole.
@Eric Bugenhagen: ruclips.net/video/H4TGzEDkpjo-/видео.html Rich spent 4 weeks eating 5 only rice meals and one protein meal
“Like a ton frickin bricks”😂😂 buddy your gonna be shitting bricks after eating all that
I tried serious mass and I’ve been diagnosed with type 69 diabetes.
Sticky Ricky YOU do have the power and the platform. This is the new way of understanding
A ton of freaking bricks would shatter into a million pieces upon impact with The Boogs.
The f*cken SUGAR SHAKES!!! 😂😂😂
Freaking kitchen is badass. Really diggin the white on white look with cabinets and brick style backsplash broski. Heavy hitter household💯
I use to take Serious Mass when I first started getting serious about lifting, It honestly worked super well for me, mixed 1 Banana, 1 Spoon Full of Peanut Butter and a full serving of the Mass Gainer.
I started at 118lbs and ended the gainer after 8 months and hit 140lbs of solid lean mass. Massive strength gains. Squat started at 105 lbs, my 1 rep max ended up being 270lbs. Bench started at 95lbs, ended up at 170lbs for 1 rep. Deadlift went from 95lbs and ended up at 300lbs for 1 rep. The protein does have a lot of creatine in it and I ended up going to the hospital from being too dehydrated. Great run though.
Bro, your channel is legit. Love it.
Gotta love the science experiments Ricky does for us.
Dr. Rick Thickenstein dropping hot sweaty loads of knowledge all over everyone’s brains.

Senior citizen shake 😂😂😂

I think you're RICK THE THICCC now Bugez lol
Bugez my 2 cents. I think you should be smart and think about longevity here. Weight/fat gain, and being at these heavy weights is not conducive to be alive for a long time, you know these things. And you're watching blood sugar, but i think, you being a lean mean heart healthy machine is a lot cooler than being a bloat-lord. Love videos as always
He’s bulking to 400 pounds for the health benefits. That’s scientific.
4:30 these movie theatre aesthetic angles
I have been taking this product or Naked Mass 3 times a week for 6 months, 1/2-3/4 serving per day, no alterations in blood sugar or hba1c. Lower calorie than you though, 3750 cal with 525g carbs daily.

Professor Rick De La Thick Horse Hagen is back is Session 💪😤
this kind of content could be a great new format for you. pick something for 3 weeks, post updates twice a week, finish with a recap and final results. when people lookup 'Mass Gainer' or whatever you experiement with- the recap video will almost always be in the top results just due to your channel size
I’m listening but got seriously distracted by doggy’s.
I wouldn't recommend you continue with this experiment if your fasting blood glucose goes above 100, BUT if you insisted on continuing then you can start taking Metformin which will reduce your blood sugar while the experiment is still ongoing.
I didn't realize they still made Russian Bear... Talk about a blast from the past
I used to drink this stuff, then i did some math. Serious mass has its advertised macros and calories because of its ridiculous portion size. If you actually compare calories per gram and protein (or any other nutrient) per gram to any other protein powder, serious mass almost always loses. Normally the calories are fairly close on a per gram basis, but the protein is less than 30% of other protein powders when dealing with the same serving sizes.
LOVE IT! I'm always wondering these things when I'm purchasing these very same products
I started using this when I was 3 years into lifting because I got tired of being skinny and cooking food. Now 5 years later I’m 6’3 225 15-18 body fat this stuff works. I use lactose whole milk because regular whole milk sent me to the bathroom all the time and was bloated 24/7.
I'm looking forward to this new experiment, that we will hear about again maybe once or twice, and then never again 😅.
9/10 yokedness, took a point off for not petting the cute dog
Please please try Ultimate Nutrition Iso Mass Xtreme Gainer!!!!
I had some digestive issues because of stress. I took mutant mass to keep the calories in. I still ate food, but kept my meals down to a minimum. I gained some size from the shakes and didn’t get obese. I used the shakes as a meal replacement. The mutant mass blend is least in sugar of all the mass gainers. I have a friend who got cancer and told her to take it instead of ensure, because the mass gainer is way better then ensure. She finished her chemo and is now cancer free. So use a mass gainer short term you should be ok.
Videos of Rich Piana eating 13x a day bring me so much joy 💪🏼
Sorry to hear about your release hope you're going to be doing good things
Bro… just steal your grandmas insulin and you’re golden.
I like how del Hagen himself will call for a cut in the footage, then just keeps it going and never cuts it out. That’s what a true mass mutant horse human would do
My first recommended video while this was playing was "The Original PB&J from 1901."
I got into my head they sound like Andy and April from Parks & Rec and I can’t un-hear it
Now this is a university I'd apply for
Get the junior citizen gainer and get it straight out the teet.
Rick the stick? Na Rick the THICC
Dude is gonna have his own gravitational pull after this...
the real experiment is gonna happen in the bathroom
My brothers and I pretty much religiously have consumed this exact brand of mass gainer for probably almost 2 years now. It's certainly helped with weight gain. I view it more as a meal replacement drink than a protein shake. It tastes way too sweet, and the macros are actually kind of terrible, so definitely wouldn't recommend unless you're really trying to put on a ton of weight. I've tried to replace it with things like milk lately, and that's probably a healthier option anyways
Eric, we would like to see you eat those 8 cookies or 6 pbnj's. Would you please film a short sequence for us?
I used this to gain 12kg in a month of starting gym and eating the same amount as you so im curious if it actually helps
Rick D stick, I advice you try my secret to the bulk. You grind almonds for like 5 minutes until it becomes «powder». Then blend it with milk and a banana. First time i ever did it I accidentally ate 400g of almonds(didnt have a weight) bought one now to measure my almonds and I currently do 200g daily to supplement my bulk. Also almonds Are healthy as shit, recommend you try it.
Almonds and other nuts have a fair bit of omega 6 that you have to watch out for though. Can spike your bad cholesterol pretty hard when eaten in excess!
