Can you make a video where you combine the iGPU with dedicated GPU? I guess you can make a ton of performance with the ( I guess FSR) mod for using an AMD & NVIDIA graphics to almost get 3x perf. If that works, then the market will change completly because of that to hybrid.

Does this CPU alone worth it? The cache is only 16MB just like 5600G. Even 5600 has more than this lamo. Only improvements to the APU but not to the CPU itself lamo. If you are planning to add GPU later does it still worth with this CPU?

You can get an RX 6600, 8gb and pair it with a lower end CPU to get good 1080p performance rather than this type of performance that surpasses a 2019 gtx 1650 a bit. You can go ultra and even play older games at 1440p.
The price of 8700g is simply too high.
Personally I would go for a Ryzen 5 5600 plus rx 6600 combo than use this overpriced APU. 330-400 euros / dollars is way too much for an APU if you focus on gaming, when you get a good 1080p gpu and processor with about the same price.
the Radeon 780m Igpu is good but in my mind not in a desktop computer if you are to enjoy gaming.
780m is best for ultrabooks and gaming handhelds, my Lenovo Legion Go has it. I applaud AMD for the iGpu but this 8700g on the whole is a weak attempt to grab cash from people by saying it gives a great gaming experience on its own.
I like AMDs solutions mostly but this is a failure. 1080p at low and medium and relatively low fps on modern games counts as good performance? for 330 bucks or more?? FFS.
Yeah put on fsr, it basically makes the picture look like garbage.
I would instead buy a 150 euro cpu, pair it with a 250 euro gpu and scowl at the 8700g.
A mediocre CPU at best. AMD has better solutions.
Then again, one can always throw ones money in the trash and be happy.
Is this what people want for an entry level gaming rig?? Or would they RATHER PREFER a solution like I gave above, for their gaming needs. Think hard before you get this APU, you will be sorely DISSAPOINTED.
(Meanwhile, the 780m is awesome for handhelds that do not require high settings and resolutions due to small displays)
At 160 bucks the 8700g would be worthwhile, perhaps. But the market is hot and competition stiff, money needs to flow and at the end of the day cash is still king. i hope you dont waste yours.
