Hello my friend. I think I prefer the Customer wrapped for myself. That’s a good question about the search. I’ve been separating the wheat pennies out of my change, since I was 11 years old. So I guess I would rather have more wheat pennies than copper. When you first showed that penny with all the pit marks, the first thought that came to my mind was maybe it’s the Gettysburg address in braille. I sure hope that they pick up your packages soon. Take care and be safe.
Well I will say. With my results recently I'm becoming more of a customer rolled fan. In the past, not so much. I do hoard the copper, but I like wheat pennies more I think. I'm going to break out tomorrow and a temp to clear my driveway.... If so, I'm going to a post office myself on Monday. I have 7 more packages to add to the 20 out there... I would sure be disappointed if someone gets in my mailbox and steals my packages.
@@TwoshedsGabby I'm in MD, snowed about 10 in on Monday and a dusting this morning, me and the kiddos made snowmen (or snowpeople for the younger sensitive generations) this afternoon
Yeah, an extra pound of Copper is okay compensation for few to no Wheaties, but it's still nice to find a few Wheaties. Hopefully, it will thaw enough for you to get out of your house soon. Regard the mail, you can always take the packages to the post office. 🤣😂 Take care!
Well, true, but that's the thing. We have a service in America that is supposed to deliver and pick up mail. Used to be this slogan "neither rain nor snow..... Bla bla bla.... I purchased a large mailbox so that I could put a lot in to go out... I'm semi retired and the postal delivery people are not. I had snow and ice on my driveway, the roads for the most part did not. It's frustrating that our government services have got so pathetic. So, later today I'm going to shovel my way out, and Monday I'll go to the post office. But as for the copper, I'd prefer getting the wheat pennies too.. talk to you soon
Sorry gabby the 1986 is nothing special, just a mushed strike which was common for that year. If you get anything else show me a pic, I’m pretty good with varieties.
Your family who brought you the coffee creamer, you should've had her run your packages to the PO. 🤣 Finally, you do pennies when I'm doing them too hehe. Based on the 21 so far rolls, this is going to be a light finds and Cu box, but you never know. Found a 2011-P that looks slightly DDO'd and '60 small date. That shiny '86 to me looks like something called machine doubling. From the time I was a teenager in the 90s, I've seen lots of 80s pennies with this "feature"; still kinda interesting either way, and some like this it's really pronounced. WTG on your copper, is that the most you've ever gotten in a box's worth before?
I asked her if she could go to the post office for me, but her work doesn't give her the opportunity. I've taken advantage of some sunshine and above freezing weather. We dug our vehicle out today, and I'll go to the post office in the morning. I now have about 26 packages going out. That is not the most I've ever gotten. I think I've beaten that twice. Once I got over 9 pounds. I will say, the boxes that have gotten me the most copper has been customer rolled. But then, I gotten a box with all zinc too.
Yes, I've had boxes of no copper, but then I've had a few of mostly copper, rolls of all copper.... Never a wheat dump yet, but if I keep looking.... Maybe
@ yeah definetely, I’m going through this box now of customer wrapped and it’s been at least 50% copper and some rolls are all copper but one weird. Lots of Canadians and about two wheat cents per roll.
Mr. Shed, I’m guessing you have a computer/laptop. Why do you not get a pluggable digital microscope? They’re cheap, Then you can find varieties in real time. Only look for the ones you desire, but after you find a couple, you’ll think ‘why did I never do this before.’ Rob Finds Treasure has a link for them, to support another YTer, if you wish. Also, that’s good channel if you don’t watch. Lastly, love the Peruvian Flute Music, reminds me of a South Park episode, lol.
Thanks for the info, and for watching my channel... I will look into the microscope, that sounds pretty fascinating... I do watch Rob finds treasure sonetimes
Thanks for sharing. I too had a lot of stuff to do today and I will have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow. 🤗❤️🙏
LoL, now the day is at and end, and I have a lot to do tomorrow... Again

@phyllisclark3896 👍👍
Last box of hand rolled. I got lucky and got nine wheat cents four Canadian pennies and a couple of dimes.😁👍
I was hoping I'd get a few wheat cents, but 4 1/2 pounds of copper is pretty good
I can't wait to find a TG pennie. Thank you for doing that. Hope the snow ❄️ stopped.

Nice video Gabby 👍
Thank you
I prefer customer rolls for pennies, always tons of copper.
I usually do pretty good, but I have gotten many many rolls, even a few boxes of zero copper.... Someone rolled all their zinc and turned it in.
I only had that happen in one roll. Lol
@@darrellCRH that's one reason I've argued with people about customer rolled, because I've had a lot of no copper rolls...
I just found my first 2024 nickel last night at work!!!!!
At work? Cool beans
Nice! they are scarce for sure!

Strike doubling or plating rupture on the 86

Since Canada doesn't have pennies anymore, could the pennies be melted down and sold as a bar?
Yes, I think that is perfectly legal to do.

How about a pad with the top varieties to search for? Mintages are okay, but not as useful for searching.
I have one with some of that information, but a mat dedicated to varieties is a good idea.
