1946-2021 Jefferson Nickel Errors & Varieties Complete Guide - Values & Clear Explanation

- There are a huge number of valuable errors on nickels minted from 1946 to today, so I made a clear and concise presentation to explain exactly what to look for and their values. There are quite a range of possible nickel errors to look for, and knowing the big coins will be very helpful. However, in addition to the major varieties, I also cover all of the minor varieties recognized by PCGS so that you have the complete picture. Two pieces of advice: when selling, remember that there generally aren’t tons of these coins on the market, so values can fluctuate based on demand at a specific moment when a coin comes to the market, and in general, look for coins in slabs that have missed variety attributions.

Just want to say how awesome you are doing.
I almost forget about you with the other couple three guys I watch,
But your data is clear, concise, good pictures, good tips (the ones where you think for yourself and contribute back quality suggestions, not just regurgitated info).
Plus I've seen you improve.
Not that I had anything ill to say of you before.
(VERY RARE FOR ME)
I hypothesize you reach a broader audience, as the way you present data is simple, relevant and applicable, despite the high level info you're kicking down.
I prefer quality, accuracy, and conciseness.
Oh yeah! And learning something!
There's an ease in going back through your videos to rewatch something that doesn't leave me feeling exhausted afterwards.
I feel this is unique to your broadcast.
Very nice.
I started collecting again about a year ago. Your presentations are clear and professional. Look forward to all future videos!
Great information on Jefferson Nickels I like all your presentations. Even your mistakes in GRADING your honesty ia apparent. Your learning and so hopefully are we.
I appreciate that! I try to be super honest and show my mis steps!
Great info. I have never found a speared buffalo. But I am still looking. Thanks.
Good luck!
1942s Jefferson nickle. I found one that has a very small raised ridge line that runs up through the Monticello to the small window on the right side of the dome. I was then looking at online pictures of the same year and mint mark. And found another almost exactly the same. Strange thing is, it an advertisement photo for a major chain store. That you wouldn't even think sold these old coins.
This was a great video. Gave me lots of good info because I haven't searched a box of nickels in some time, but I'm getting one this week. TY!!!!
I have a very rare 1999P Jefferson nickel with a improperly annealed planchette anomaly error for sale

And I have a 1964 Lincoln penny with 180 degrees die rotation. Now it is a serious question - do die rotation errors raise the value of a coin for coin collectors?

I just read this: All US Mint coins are struck with coin alignment. That is, when the coin is flipped from top to bottom, the reverse will be properly oriented. This is the opposite of medallic alignment, which has both the obverse and reverse oriented the same way.08-Oct-2019. Not quite clear now, on the issue.
I have a 2012 Jefferson Nickel with an approx 170 degrees die rotation. Is this normal? Do people collect die-rotated coins as collector's items?

Anyone know anything about a 1964-d nickel “E PLURIDUS UNUM” ?
Wow! That's something worth looking into.
No! Maybe an online coin forum would be a good place to post.
Love your info on all things coins. I discovered a 2002 P Jefferson nickel that has a circular impression dead center on the reverse about the size of a dime. Any ideas? Thanks

I found a 1942 nickel, is it worth anything?
Dude, behind you you have a sheet of 4 one dollar Bill's. I have same thing only with two dollar bills with star. Any way you can tell me worth or what I do with them.
I was really looking forward to watching this video, but you only gave the prices for MS63 and above. Most of my coins I get out of bank rolls are not in this good of shape:(. This video wasn't made for the average collector like me.
Well It's a cherry picker guide it's ment for extremely rare finds I assume or at least decently rare finds in great shape most errors are only valuable I'm mint states
Sorry about that! I normally do AU values too, not sure why I didn't.
And it still applies that this is a full list!
Nothing about the 1999 P ddo,ddr an example of which I have in my hand?
Is it a PCGS/NGC recognized error?
I have a 2018 Jefferson nickel that the whole back of it is not there. Except for a little bit in the middle. It is very very misprinted can anyone give me any idea the value of this
