Heavenly Father, I come before you tonight in the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood and the power of the Holy Spirit. I ask that you bless Val with healing and comfort. She is precious in your sight and a blessing to so many of us. Amen.
This is so absolutely amazing! I'm so truly blessed to see this, and I sincerely thank you for sharing your recipes with us all😁❤ I pray that you have complete healing quickly😊❤🌻
I'm praying for your recovery and that the Lord brings not only relief from the pain but resolution for whatever is causing it. God bless you! I LOVE good apple butter! It is indeed wonderful on a buttered biscuit. What kind of water bath canner was that you were using? It looks like a really nice one!
I can remember my family making apple butter outside in a big kettle. It always smelled so good. I’ve seen my mother make it on the stove also. I love apple butter. Yours looked so good and as you said it is so good on a buttered biscuit. I’d love to have one of those canners and yes it is so satisfying to hear those jars seal. 🍎🙏😊♥️💗🌷😊
Thank you so much. I need the prayers. I’m doing heat and cold. And using bio freeze. And now muscle relaxers. Sweet hunters says I need to slow down. That’s hard for me.
Oh Val..so sorry you dont feel good. I know pain well...its no fun! Sending gentle hugs your way!! BTW, your apple butter looks amazing! I like it chunky too!! Yummmmm! 🌻
Val, apple butter is so good. We use the slow cooker too. I also made apple pear butter two. You and Sweet Hunter always match! Praying you feel well soon. Hope you find time to rest.
I think I remember you telling me about pear butter. I need to do that too. I am feeling some better. I’ve got ordered from Sweet Hunter that I must slow down. I think I might have too. Pray for me.
Thank you for sharing how to can this and others. Enjoying your videos. I hope you are better by now. Praying you are. We use red light therapy for various injuries regardless if it's muscle or bone. Sister used it for serious back injury, my mom her arm and myself for knee and foot injuries. It's important to use a legitimate brand of red light. We have one by Mito but if you wanted to try out red light therapy before investing in a home light, some places like planet fitness have it available for members.
Apple peels are great for teas, or making sauerkraut or kimchi. The cores make vinegar. With the peels of you want to make sauerkraut with them you pop in the blender with salt, pepper, garlic powder and mix that with the shredded or cut up cabbage, onion, and maybe some carrots. Works great.
@@ourforeverfarm no problem. I'm a mentally disabled single mom with zero child support. I'm also on a restrictive diet for medical reasons. Wasting food is a big deal. Most times if food goes bad I use it as fertilizer in my potted herb and veggie garden at my apt. But I try very hard to waste nothing. Waste not, want not. Recently the food pantries have given me more apples than I know what to do with. I've made apple chips and what not but I can't get them used quickly enough and some have gone bad. This recipe I can make and is shelf stable and in my case easy to make low carb by substituting sugar. I got the idea to try apple butter from some pumpkin butter I found at the store that I've been enjoying on toast or with a low carb fruit and nuts bowl I make myself as a dessert. Apple butter sounded like a good idea to build from that.
Your apple butter recipe seems pretty simple. I'm giving it a try now. This is my first attempt at making apple butter, so I hope mine turns out. I just love it on homemade biscuits. By the way, I've made your biscuit recipe with the heavy cream. They are so big and fluffy! I plan to make that biscuit recipe again to enjoy some apple butter on them.
Is it bursitis or rotator cuff injury (I've had both + a surgery for it)? It definitely affects all of you and your activities. Prayers for relief! You're so sweet and your smile and enthusiasm despite your pain is inspiring! This apple butter looks great, I love it spread on apple muffins! Take care!
