- Today's my 32nd birthday, so of course for my next Living Books Let's Play video, I thought "Arthur's Birthday" would be appropriate! The animation and voice acting are so much better, made two years after "Arthur's Teacher Trouble," and there's a LOT of familiar cartoon sound effects that were used in so many 1990s computer games! So come celebrate my birthday with me and Arthur here!
"Living Books: Arthur's Birthday" © 1994 Marc Brown and Wanderful Interactive Storybooks; FAIR USE!
The is the original version of Arthur's Birthday. There's an updated version that adds two new mini-games (it's the one me and my brother played when we were kids); "The Great Gift Mystery" and "Pin the Tail".
Somehow, I knew you would do a Let's Play of this game for your birthday, since this is another of the Living Books games that I used to own, as I've mentioned before. Appropriately enough, I remember getting this game on my 9th birthday, as a double pack with the Living Books version of "Little Monster at School".
2:26 - You're not the only to remember the Arthur books before the show, Zak. I also remember the books and the two Living Books games before the show. Though as for me, I was born in 1987, a year before you.
3:01 - Now that's some Klatchian Coffee right there!
5:39 - You didn't click on the red jar. When you click on it, a mouse comes up to both the red and yellow jars and says "Boo!" to them, which causes them to panic as the mouse runs away, and after the mouse leaves, they sigh in relief.
13:24 - That's what I was thinking about Prunella!
15:53 - I remember that scaring me as a kid.
Awesome video playthrough! I love how even adults can have fun on their birthday! Happy Birthday to you, and may all your dreams come true! And Arthur’s birthday is on May 25th, a day before my birthday, May 26th and I love vanilla and chocolate cake but I like vanilla more and Happy 32nd Birthday Dan!
10:47 Oh! I know that elephant sound effect! It was heard on "Dumbo"!
This was one of my favorite pc games as a kid
Living books played a huge part of my memory
Fun mini games great stories and fun clickamajigs thrown in
I remember playing this game all the time as a kid! It's the only Living Books game I ever owned (my local library had Arthur's Computer Adventure, and another one based off of a book I can't remember).
I think the book your talking about must be Arthur’s computer disaster
I played the version 2 of this game which had the Pin the tail on the Donkey game and the Great Gift Mystery! plus aside from Arthur and Muffy share the same birthday, Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin we're both born on the same day of the same year! (February 12th, 1809)
Happy birthday dude
I'm a big fan of your channel
I’m also a big fan as well
9:53 Cue classic crowd gasp sound effect!
I used to play this in the 1990s, before the Arthur TV show.
You know when you click on the bowl that DW’s holding on the 1st page, when she feeds Kate, she grabs the bowl from DW and eats her food like a pig.
1:39 And May 25 is also, of course, the original 1977 release of Star Wars, and the birthday of actors Mike Myers and Frank Oz.
Also 2 days before my birthday.
@@brandonsmoviecorner1578 Cool. And your birthday's the same as Vincent Price. As well as when Walt Disney's Three Little Pigs was originally released in 1933.
@@brandonsmoviecorner1578 and a day before my birthday
Happy 32nd Birthday, Dan.
Wow I didn't know you were in your 30s! Happy Birthday. You are one month younger than my youtube friend xcloudx01. The version 2.0 of this game was the first living books game I ever played in Feb 1999.
Buster sounds so different and Binky sounds like he hit puberty early
I still have this game.
Happy birthday dude. Hope it’s a blast.
I agree with you
Happy Birthday, man. I used to play this game too.
I remember playing This video game and loving it.
*(I Love Chocolate!)* Wait, you do? Oh what a coincidence, I love chocolate too!
So Do I
16:00 If you ask me looks more like a knock off parody of the Scooby Doo door scenes.
But Zak Wolf is, like, 32-years-old!!
I played part of this game when I was young. I also have the book and have seen the episode.
I’ve seen the episode of this as well but I don’t have the book and I have never played the game
Happy 32nd Birthday Dan "Zak Wolf"
Happy birthday Zak Wolf (Dan)!
Happy belated birthday!
Happy birthday! 🥳🥳🥳🎂🍰🧁
Happy birthday!

What’s your opinion on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse?
Eh, it's not very good.
@@ZakWolf Probably because of how most people think it’s a rip-off of Dora the Explorer? IRYO though
