Delhi is a perfect place for anyone who is leaving there home state. You will never feel left out because you will find people of almost all religions, states and countries here. I have visited 80% of the whole of Mumbai and 90%+ south Mumbai, Have been to Bengaluru and pune as well. I can easily say that even benguluru and pune are far better and more beautiful than Mumbai.
Moreover, I have seen(I know) some people (Marathi) who have spent 10-15 years their life in mumbai before moving to pune, and the fact is they don't want to go back to Mumbai and never have I seen them praising Mumbai. ( These people aren't bollywood lovers).
