Join me on another fossil hunting video. In this one I head to Boggle Hole, Robin Hoods Bay in search of the much rarer and harder to find Jurassic Fossils. Here the fossils are 200 million years old, along with the occasional washed in find. Here I find Ammonites, shells and crinoids along with other jurassic aged fossils.

Lovely to see more variety among the ammonites❤. Could you explain the meanings of their names every now and then? I know that dactyl in dactylioceras means fingers and eleganticeras is pretty self explanatory .

can we get a video of the cleaning process? also what type of beaches we can find them, what are some beginner tips, items, etc.
Usually found in places where shale is predominant. This helps preservation. When the cliffs erode they expose them. Check his website out. Hope this helps 😊
