We realised to sit up in bed you just add cushions or stuff behind you. Love that option for putting feet up after an energetic morning, it becomes an extra lounge area for reading, craft, playing games or just watching the view outside. Some motor homes like the Carthago have a back rest that raises up, it should be possible to convert the exsis bed to do the same?

Why don't hymer give you an option for taking out lockers above the bed?

With the beds and head room, why not sleep the other way around and place the reading lights on the central bulkheads?

With the way the steps are arranged, access would be more difficult and wouldn't seem very natural. It would be especially problematic when using the full double bed option. Also, the single beds narrow towards the foot - not ideal if this becomes the head end. And, as you say, the reading lights are at the other end.
