Lowkey I think Taiga is one of the only few characters to actually pull off the tsundere trait correctly
I think that Kurisu from Steins Gate also does a decent job. I normally cannot stand tsundere characters (because they are usually just jackasses until they randomly love the protagonist) but they did a good job with making her still likable. It helps that Okabe was enough of a pain in the ass to make her attitude towards him valid.

She’s even a real Tsundere she doesn’t really hit Kitamura at the beginning she only hits Takasu since she’s used to it. She even hits other people so it’s less that she’s a real tsundere it’s just that she’s a lil agro.

it is not, its one of the most well known and best animes of all time in terms of the romance genre, other animes also pays homage to toradora like durarara, masamune kuns revenge, yugioh, etc because the show is well respected in the anime community.

Hated this girl. I don't understand why Tsunderes who get angry at any interaction is appealing to people. Tsunderes call people "baka" or "pervert" when they are complimented leaving the person who gave the compliment confused or sad. Someone who loves Tsunderes explain to me what makes them so appealing because I genuinely don't understand.

Along this debate, I tend to base it on the age that it was watched because believe it or not, teens do watch anime, and a mind typically processes things as ageing even if they don't. It's why I would consider females from class 1-A and 1-B in MHA waifu material, but Pearl Dimond from Gods' Games We Play would not qualify as waifu material.
It's a whole gray mess because characters don't age and it's why I will only call people out if the character is unequivocally a minor like Eri from MHA.

I literarily just finished my first viewing of Toradora and I couldn't agree more. Taiga has got to be one of the best Tsundere characters ever. Clearly S Tier material.

I’m happy this was one of my first anime that I’ve watched, I’ve always thought anime was gay but after watching this it really just blew my mind, this anime expresses so many emotions that just hit right whether it be the slice of life or the comedy, this anime is a go to in the winter

Do you have any suggestions that are the same like this anime, Toradora? I actually watched it because some suggested it when I asked for suggestions that is the same like Nisekoi. Both Taiga and Chitoge are willing to give up for their own love just to make sure that their love ones are happy. I want to watch more animes like this. Thanks in advance! ☺️
If you are looking for good romance anime I highly suggest checking out “The Angel next door spoils me rotten” - “Taisho Otome fairy tale” - “Horimiya” all of these are fantastic starting points for the romance genre and don’t have any harem elements whatsoever. They all have some similarities to Toradora but are of course their own thing. If you want to move into a slightly different romance genre check out “The Quintessential Quintuplets”- “The Duke of death and his Maid” - “More than a married Couple but not lovers” These have either Harem like elements or are more ecchi. Everything here in my opinion is worth the watch and if you like to read definitely check out the Light Novels for “The Angel Next Door Spoils me Rotten” or “Ayla sometimes hides her feelings in Russian” which will be getting an anime this summer and so far I have really enjoyed the Light novels. Hope this helps!!!!!
