Nice setup. I love the size! Realistically, I have never seen a mechanic with a perfectly manicured tool box like that except maybe a first year apprentice, although they would probably have a box half the size. I would need ten toolboxes to for all the gear I have it I used all of those trays. I tend to throw away all the trays cause they take up so much room. Apart from multiple socket racks, no trays. Great setup anyway.

I keep the outer trays to use as drawer dividers, and chuck out the moulded inner trays - much less wasted space that way!

My top tip for organising a tool chest like this - get a label maker and print out labels for the drawer fronts identifying what's in there. It's quite cheap, and easy to change if you swap things around.

Sockets absolutely have to be vertical proper 😊

Great tools but plastic trays soon crack and break up after any use. If Teng did them with sponge shadow boards they would last way longer!

I don't want to tell you how to necessarily do your job, but wouldn't it make sense to organize the tool storage units according to tools most commonly used all day long ?
In other videos, I noticed that most mechanics organize their tool boxes in this fashion , that is , the most used tools are more readily accessible than those that are less used.
Tools , time , and motion play a big part in profitability.

I would like to try this setup but I work on everything from motorcycles to heavy equipment and I see no large sized wrenches and the box is not big enough for the larger wrenches … so what is their solution?

So you sound like you are in the UK. That said. I am looking at doing what you are saying. Can I get a list of all the tool sets you have. Thanks

NO NO NO 460mm DEPTH!!! it is like IKEA helmer £45 but this is about £1 990.80 only the lower "cab" empty.
I'm European, used to see this kind of miserly stingy boxes from all sort of OEM tools manufacturers with fool prices. I hate them. I'm not wrong, this sort of cabs is wrong.
It has no depth and it is tall, but it will also fall without upper chest.
Following this stinginess with all the rest of the organization full of limitations and restrictions for the user, and it makes no sense like those other noisy european one at time opening.
About box examples take a look around, at least to provide something like US General or other cheap Harbor Freight boxes such as Husky or YUKON, perhaps something like old classic Bahco C75 26" or 40".
IMO No serious box is less than 50cm = 500mm = 19.69 inches in depth compromising stability while opening loaded drawers, in fact limiting severely the way you work.
People who use tools must have some peace of mind from this project errors and frustrations.
And also remember, box should contain also larger items 24" breaker bars? Pry bars? Sockets must go vertical, pliers must go cut not plane, like dishes in the kitchen rack, power tools such as impact wrenches grinders and stuffs must present the handles hanging easy to grab and change on the line while working. Again, people has power tools and also chargers, so in some spot you have to get at least a path for cords if not a proper electrified drawer to recharge batteries while box is closed.
But most of all you seriously can't work fine worrying each time you open drawer that the entire box fall upside down. It makes no sense spending £1 990.80 lower cab empty only.
