    I love your teachings. I've been a fan for quite a few years now, but my only remaining problem is it's hard for me to walk out in an environment and see it's usage as part of the composition. Now you and Lindsey have helped me a lot with posing and that's all I use or rely on when I can't figure out how to use the environmentby zooming in with my camera and using a tight crop and only rely on the light available or using my own light.

    Beautiful work, however I'm definitely more biased towards the use of natural light in this case. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿☺️

    Jerry, were you mostly using pin AF point or the subject detection eye AF? Was you flash mostly in TTL?

  • @fidodido664

    Do you set the exposure for the portrait first by adjusting the iso and flash power and later the shutter to adjust the background or vise versa?

  • @Hofsaedter

    what about banding issues with his flash? didn't you have it?

  • @CynthiaBennett

    Hmm, the title doesn't seem to match the video. Most of the shots illustrated were shot with natural light as opposed to off camera flash. Nice use of the environment though.

    What a strange video.
    The title saying "using off camera flash...", but I've actually learned not much on this subject.
    Instead, you can see some silhouettes and pictures with no flash.
    And this minute 4:35, where the man holding the softbox stands behind the subjects and very soon you see a picture with the front light. Strange.

    Hi, what is the size of the soft box that is used?

    • @BandH
      @BandH  8 месяцев назад

      Jerry used the following softboxes:
      - Westcott Rapid Box Switch Octa-S Softbox (26"): bhpho.to/2sHqdaR
      - Profoto Clic Softbox Octa (2'): bhpho.to/3EmwPAM

    A lot of activity and talk, but few results shown, and those not too impressive. Hoping for better next time!
