I see that too. At the core of him was a loving, creative, curious, vulnerable, honest and ambitious person. It's a shame that so many other things started to effect that... May he rest peacefully
@@BeReasonable4the1time exactly! You said it so well. If you watch old interviews, even from a few years ago, he is witty, articulate, funny and silly. What we saw in the last year or two was not the real Aaron. I do not understand for a second why anyone would torment a struggling and lost human the way he was and honestly charges should be brought against them. I'm not sure about the U.S. but in Australia we have cyberbullying laws where you can be held accountable for what you write online. It seems all he wanted was to be accepted and loved and he was a damn talented musician with the voice of an angel. It breaks my heart how hard he tried to get the only life he's ever known back, the tenacity and resilience to produce his own music.

I could see SO many of Nick's mannerisms in Aaron as he talks through his responses! If it weren't for the age difference these two could have easily been twins. There's been turmoil in their family for decades and I'm so sad that Aaron's life ended the way it did. RIP, good sir.

I just understood Aaron... If you start showbiz at such a young age... you're going to be a pleaser, a "yes" personality, and you're going to develop your psyche based on the idea they have of you. Children look up to adults, they trust, they think they know better. And then one day, those same adults did not want Aaron anymore because he was not that cute "10 years old" anymore... so they totally forget about him and went on to the next baby talent, sensation. That would crush anyone! The only thing he wanted was to sing, perform, be loved and love back. Showbiz is not the real world but since he had no normal childhood, it was real world to him. We will always love you, Aaron, for the person you have always been! You'll be truly missed.

@J J Scott I agree. He's a mess and only making his situation messier. Working with teens w/behavioral issues, I learned that addicts were emotionally/psychologically stunted at the age they started using. As opposed to learning coping mechanisms and maturing age appropriately, the substances step in and prevent them from developing in these areas. He needs to shut himself up/shut down and get SERIOUS help. He needs to unlearn crazy(the chaos/manipulating)... he's too strung out and damaged to even coming close to making the lies work long-term(OR even short term).

Some of you are saying he "looks rough". That may be true but you have to remember that this guy has been through a lot of shit. He's been dogged out by his own parents. People who are suppose to love, nurture, & protect you. He had to take a courages yet scaring step and sue his own mother. His sister died of drugs. His family has been ripped apart before he and Nick even became famous. He never had a strong support system. At least Nick, had his band members. Of course Aaron, turned to drugs and other bad choices as a way to cope. I have so much respect for him for growing up and not being a victim. He's came a long way. Best wishes and I hope he and his brother can gain their strong bond back. ❤️

Actually Aaron kind of followed his brothers footsteps when it came to drugs. Nick also did drugs until he began developing a life threatening health condition. Nick writes all about his addictions in his book, Facing the Music

You can only do so much for someone who doesn’t want help. At a certain point you have to cut off toxic relationships. Nick and angel did the right thing. Guarantee if Aaron truly wanted help they both would be there to support him. But sadly at this point he’s too deep into his addiction and can’t take any accountability for how he’s behaved over the past few yrs.

Wow, you could tell even back then that he hated Nick Carter. It's obvious that he was uncomfortable answering that question, and carefully navigated his way to a politically correct answer. But it's all coming out now!
He even will throw in a random jab about nick in interviews when no one is even taking about him. Even brings it up at his “concerts”…. He’s just got so much animosity and jealousy and chip on his shoulder, etc etc etc. It’s really sad. He just blames everything on nick and actively refuses to move on w his life.
