When you have a very heavy Powerful truck and not enough Power due to very heavy cargo, Tires that have pretty good grip are gripping too well sometimes so you tend to get Stuck sometimes or struggle going uphill. So in order to get the truck moving, try tires with lesser grip values.
Snowrunner has snow,breakable ice sheets and mud and rocks and hills and all kind of stuff in the way in different maps. In flat terrain it does well even with all the shit above. If you have Ken full of cargo trying to go uphill it will be slow and if there are rocks or mud there it stops. At some point it can't carry his own weight and if there are no winch points there is no magic that can save you and remember if you want to tow it uphill you need to know Ken is one of the heavist trucks to pull. I absolutely love Ken but i admit it has a weak engine because it can't get out of any situation. These limitations annoy some players and they are forced to use mods and not just Ken because there are lots of trucks weakened on purpose and Pacifics are good examples. I don't deny facts everyone can see.
In Duncan bay, I used the kenworth to move the coiled super heavy trailer to the oil rig site. It could not get up a hill. I tried, and tried, and tried, but I had to give up. I have the most powerful engine, I was in low-, and it couldn’t do it. Eventually I had to give up and us Mack defense. For moving around regular cargo, kenworth is amazing, but as soon as you get to trailers, the engine craps out and you have to baby it to the objective.
My most enjoyable experience with snowrunner was in early phases up to zikz605R. So you had to tread carefully, getting stuck was possible (using the OG trucks), doing most of amur with tayga/azov was fun. Only late 605r was unlocked, and 605r not having a crane and lots of options for cargo haul was a beast of a rescue truck and helper, but not the hauling cargo truck.. that was azov 7 teritory. Starting with 5700ts got the start for OP trucks. It had crazy combos in adddons.. at leas was not very capabe (more in azov range than zikz) and terrible fuel consumption, and no extra roof rack... fair enough had plenty downsides. But starting with this truck it kept patching the downsided of some unique og trucks like boar with awd over p16.. then zikz612/kenworth963/femm/atom replaced many of the OG options. I try to stick to lesser trucks in new seasons and my hardmode run that is not complete yet. Especcially will use least used trucks by me, and avoid the most used ones. now it's also the time to troll around with transtar and CLT.
zikz 612h also has downsides of being very wide, just a tad underpowered (though not that much), and the large chin. kenworth 963 also has downsides of being absolutely terrible at rock crawling because it has an unfavorable front axle collision model and it gets high centered on rocks. It is also massive and has a wide turning radius so it is even worse at narrow passages than the 612h
snowrunner did have the khan marshall scout as premium edition (?) exclusive and it was so much above all vanilla vehicles that i guarantee many people bought it just because it was so good
for me snowrunner doesen't have a perfect truck because having a perfect truck will reduce the game difficulty and since snowrunner is a game wich brings you to yuor limits that will like decreasing the spirit of the game. MY idea of a perfect truck: a truck that has the same addons as kenworth 963, has a very powerfull engine like zizk 612h, is stable like cat 745c , has a massive fuel tank like zizk 612h and same consumpion fuel as azov 64131(azov 64131 is one of the best fuel efficent trucks) and it has extra supplies on the roofraccks like ford f750 wich holds the record for the most roofracks. And for have perfect trucks we can use mods but even my favourite one as a flaw.
I play a lot with a modded WesterStar Twinsteer. Literally the only disadvantage of it is that its big size. But it'll go practicaly anywhere, has repair points and fuel, can tow trailers, and has up to 5 slots or you can haul long logs which combined with different mod for log trailers will make it so much faster to complete the (in my opinion annoying) quests that require long logs. And I love that truck.
I’ve been using some weaker trucks lately like the Fleetstar 2070a and I’ve been having much more fun with the game, trucks like the Zikz 605 and 612 make the game way too easy in most maps.
One of my favorite trucks is KRS Bandit. Super capable truck with good adons, but tippy enough you have to be cautious and limited fuel economy makes you be smart about your routes.
Exactly, some of my favourite trucks are the "less" capable ones, too. Snowrunner isn't a game for speed after all. I just wanna get from A to B as safely as possible. I'm so done flipping and ubflipping and flipping trucks and trailers lol
Honestly i think the best truck in the game is the Azov 73210. It may be slow but ive never found a problem that it couldnt solve. Great range, great stability, great addons and flexibility!

Agree, every truck has some cons but I think it's better for the game For the 612, I would say it keep being block by front bumper (same as azov 7) as shown at 6:25 Zick 605 is lacking low saddle to be perfect. For the moment, it can't use the best trailer FEMM is difficult to handle, I couldn't use it correctly in season 5 don I find Kenworth not really handy in small area, turning radius is pretty bad
Both Kolob trucks are great for pulling heavy cargo, since that is the only thing they can do. They only have a high saddle. But they are extremely good at that one thing
@@Drakey_Fenix Not just saddled semitrailers. Kolobs can the heaviest hitched trailers through the worst mud sideways. They are the strongest tractors in the game.
in my opinion op trucks like mastodon, kenworth and 605, ruin the game. since their release i find boring to play some not too strong trucks anymore because what is the point in using them? you will spend more time in the mud or snow, or you will tip more often, or your fuel will run out more quickly etc. and to be honest, after kenworth, i lost my excitement in the game. with these strong trucks is like easy mode. you go from A to B. If saber releases trucks that are good for only one or two things would be better, cause you will have to plan and divide each task, and you would be obligated to use a variety of vehicles
Well, there is nothing perfect in real world, trucks or otherwise. Mastodon and 605r was designed for specific tasks in real world, same for kenworth or FEMM ... that makes us use other trucks for some other tasks. I love 6900, when I learned to drive it. Yes, no trailer, but 4 slots are more than enough for most tasks. And it is fun to use. Tayga trucks are closest to "do-it-all" truck in game. And if there would be "do it all" one truck - game would lose its fun, in my opinion. And there is mods. There you can get a truck that is so OP that kenworth or FEMM would feel like driveing Escalade in mudpit with slicks 😅
If there was a “perfect” truck you wouldn’t have as much reason to experiment with the huge roster of trucks that are available. The game itself tells you to have a fleet of diff trucks for different roles. Honestly I think a “perfect” truck would make the game boring. There’s always mods I guess if you want something OP.
You think Snowrunner did a good job but i think it did a horrible job at it, Mastodon is still way way too good imo specially since it's a paid vehicle which means that's a pay to win thing by itself, as for "balancing" the other vehicles the devs don't know jackshit about balancing, they try but fail, let's take FEMM as an exemple, it has many addons and power and good tries and all but the steering makes it worse than a nonuograded highway truck with no diff and AWD, instead of ruining it like that they could limit the addons or tures or ANY FUCKING THING. The exact same thing goes for any other "a bit too good" vehicle, these devs nerf these vehicles in the worst ways possible. Yes it is better than the MK2 in GTAO sure, there is atm no "jack of all trades master of all" vehicle i agree but the way they did it is still horrendous, this game has no balance in anything at all, the addons, the trailers and the vehicles are legit all over the place but i guess that's a result of having 10 million paid dlcs and concentrating on making 10 million more rather than improving the game itself.
I’m still pissed at them for nerfing the Khan Marshall’s fuel tank. It already doesn’t have trailer support. It was just a good scout to get around the map and open watch towers early game over the Chevy due to the Khan already having mud balloons by default. Now with its pitiful 11gal tank, it can’t even Scout all that much, even with the extra fuel from the roof rack. It wasn’t an advantage truck it’s called we pre-ordered the game, so ya I’m gonna use it. There’s no pleasing people. Imagine complaining about balancing in a non-competitive game that’s mostly solo/co-op. I don’t understand it.

Heh, yes, I must agree. But I use Bandit as a scout on steroids and for thoes repair and smaller secondary tasks. Its good, but it have its limits

I own the zik 605r but due to not having phase 4 I can't access the map it's on
One bump and femm jack knifes like 50 times per hour or so
