Honestly? I'm kinda hoping that we see Jason over at Craig's house more often. Nicole seems like the kind of mom who wants to take care of all the kids around her, you know? I'd really love for it to become a thing where when Jason's parents go away, he stays with the Williams from time to time. Tbh Craig's folks are so caring and sweet, they'd probably feel awful if they didn't at least do something to make sure Jason's safe and well fed when he's on his own.
It would be cool seeing Craig and Jason get along and becomes buddies, maybe siblings considering if the creators want Jason to be adopted into the family . Or maybe they’ll leave it as a round family
While I wasn't expecting that to erase all possible issues that Craig and Jason had with each other, Craig did trust him completely when he was acting like a mole, posing as King Xavier's friend/sycophant. And he lived up to that trust. As such, I'm a bit surprised that Craig repeatedly told everyone "He's not my friend!" in this episode. Maybe he just felt that Jason was trying to cross a "best friend territory" line that Craig wasn't comforatble with.
Well it's kind of true at least on Craig's side of things. They may be less antagonistic in early seasons and friendlier towards but they're not at that level of trust just yet. Jason on the other hand seems to like or at least respect Craig enough to at least try ask even though it seemed like a long shot.
i was thinking of that entire episode every-time craig said he wasn’t his friend and i was confused.. but you cleared it up for me and now it makes a little more sense.
The best part is how Jason smiles when Craig said they were "workmates". He was all, "Yeah, that's fair." That boy must be so lonely to think that being workmates with Craig is the best thing to happen to him.
when i watched this episode, i had the same thought. it almost felt like this episode was supposed to be released before the whole CTF war. i obviously can't speak for the crew, and it was a wonderful episode regardless, but if they had put it before, it would have made it feel like craig and jason's friendship really grew and became stronger.
I love Nicole in this episode she understands Jason’s situation and is nothing but nice to him to make him feel at home and loved. She’s such a good mom for not only taking in Jason as one of her own if only for the night and for recognizing that he doesn’t come from the best situation but also for observing Craig and setting him down the right path to lead to understanding Jason more and the bettering of their friendship. I feel for Jason in this episode and we need more parents like Nicole
I could've sworn that in the episode where Craig digs up Jason's yard, Jason mentions something about his mother being a police officer - which could also explain why Jason wishes to act as a sort of authority for the Creek. He sees his mother as someone who "protects and serves" and who uses her authority for "the greater good", not quite understanding that being a forest scout isn't really the same as being a cop. But yeah, if Jason's parents are divorced, his father is a business man and his mother is an officer, then you still have that issue of neither of them having much time for their son. I also noticed how Jason ponders if his stepmother is "more comfortable" around her chihuahuas, which makes me think that she's the type of person who doesn't like kids. This could explain why Jason likes to be so neat and orderly, likely having the mindset of "if I'm not messy or loud or disorderly like OTHER kids, maybe my stepmom will see me as a kid who she doesn't mind being around". Man, this poor kid...
Yeah, his mom probably works a lot, which is why he lives with his dad and his stepmother. And his stepmother is probably, technically, the one who should be caring for him, but she doesn't.
Scoutguest really did a good job on making us see Jason in a whole brand new point of view. It made him sympathetic and make you see the reasons into why he behave/act the way he is at The Creek. I really hope this grown stay in for future episodes, so began to become closer friend with the other characters on the show.
The part where Nicole gave lunch to Jason was so heart warming. U could tell how hard it hit Jason, he probably has never experienced that from his step mother, and this new experience to him means so much. He sees a mother figure in her ad i love that
I never really disliked Jason he kinda reminds me of that kid who says "it's tomorrow now" after midnight on a sleepover or camping trip but I honestly really like his character after this episode I think it adds very specific layers to his character and helps see him through a different lense. I can see why he's so persistent with the Forest scout rules, trying to be the best to get his parents attention and validation. It probably also gives him control that he doesn't have in his own home life

I’ve been wanting to watch this show for sometime but three things has stopped me and I hope it doesn’t go away (Hopefully there’s a dvd for a series/season) 1. Is that the price of cable 2. Worrying that it’ll be cancelled just like Justice League Action (that show is awesome and deserves some more episodes to bring on the characters very well) 3. The obvious answer that I don’t need to explain again
You have to appreciate that given the show's popularity, they've made sure to capitalize on it. The whole saga with the other side of the bridge is something that they could only do because the network knows the fans are invested enough for the whole venture. So they're now using its continued popularity to tackle some harder topics that definitely affect many children, but isn't a comfortable topic to discuss. Not even for adults. They aren't talking down to their fans. They're presenting it in a way that younger audiences and older can appreciate and process. There's nothing a child can do to affect the situation Jason is in, aside from simply offering empathy. An important lesson for most anyone. When there's nothing you can offer to improve a situation in a meaningful way, a bit of empathy goes a long way. Knowing that others understand the difficulties you're going through makes the burden easier to carry. In m personal philosophy: The world is an awful, awful place. So do what you can to make it a bit less awful whenever possible.
Jason has been my favorite character for a long time, ever since the fossil episode. There are bits about his character, play style, and way of thinking that I relate to. This episode made that all the more present and I adored this episode and the subtlety of it. The dishes, the confusion surrounding how Craig's family acts, dead set on never being a burden, it felt all too familiar. Perhaps Im doing a bit more projecting with this next tidbit, but Ive always seen him as neurodiverse as well (all the more reason I love him). I loved this episode so so much
Earlier in the series, Jason has shown how lonely he is without the forest scout. I think this will be the beginning of a new stage in their character arcs. As a kid, I was in several situations where someone who would one day become a close friend, previously showed me kindness that carried over to a later point in which I decide to lower my guards and let them in.
Yeah, that phone call makes me wonder, especially given how her voice changes. My guess is that she called his stepmom and she gave a really stupid reason for not being at home. Or she was drunk.
@@rosesweetcharlotte or even worse she said that's not my kid so why do I care something about his dad I'll be home in the morning to let him in or something like that
The representation in this show just makes my heart melt in joy. As somebody with a terrible home life, this episode helped me cope with my struggles and made me feel so much better. How do I relate to these 9 year olds SO much..
I learned the hard way that there is no such thing a family. Family is a lie, parents don't care about us. They only take care of us because it's one of their dutys in life and once they have completed that task they will abandon you to fend foryourself when your 12 years old. I've learned the hard way that parents don't at all love us, we are just toys for them to manipulate us and to entertain themselves and like all toys they'll just throw us away and never love us again 💔
Maybe add in the junk king too. I can see him coming from a home where nothing is his own so he hold on to everything or maybe being raised by a parent who is a hoarder
@@melissasawicki8989 damn chill 😭 I have issues with my family life as well but that doesn't mean that all families are cold hearted monsters. It's pretty unfair to group all families as "bad" just because you've had a bad personal experience with your own. You write about all parents as if they're some sort of robot with no emotions, when that is far from the truth.
Jason mentioned he has a stepmom, when you think of fairytales, we're used to reading about evil stepmothers. From reading and watching fairlytales that stepmothers are terrible women who treat their stepchildren like slaves.
I mean, yes but no? Not every stepmother is evil but yes, Jason's stepmother is not someone you'd call a good mother. Not much information is given about her from the show but my guess is that Jason reminds her of what's left of who his father previously married. Her wishing Jason was like her trained chihuahuas made me think that she wishes she can expect the kid to do what he's asked like a trained pet. Or just someone "easier to handle" and someone she can be more comfortable being around.
When Craig and Bernard are arguin, Jason go to wash the dishes, that means his partents use to argue a lot and he preferes to do the chores so they stop figthing. That's a signg of a very neglected kid
I've always kinda liked Jason as he and Kelseys play styles are similar to how I played and there home life was similar to mine but after this episode where we learn more about Jason I liked him even more with how similar my home life was though it was my mom who I didn't talk to much growing up but I also had to learn to be independent very early and enjoyed my mom bragging about me even though she wasn't around to experience it with me (as for if Jason and Craig need to a dress there issues no I don't think they need to now there still just kids and the kinds of issues Jason is going through won't make much sense till he's older like he gets that something is wrong but the issues kinda to big for a kids show to really tackle but I do think Jason should apologize for past play time stuff or for just being rude to Craig )
Jason's backstory is similar to that of Russell from Up. Both have neglectful fathers and stepmothers who try their hardest to keep their step-son as far away from their new spouse as possible.
Gosh, this episode made me absolutely relate to Jason as a character and it made a big change in the way I saw him. Knowing that he learned scouting because it teaches kids how to take care of themselves, and it especially taught Jason how to rely on himself when he couldn't ask help from anyone else. I've said this somewhere else but I want shake the hands of the people who made this episode and wrote Jason like this. The signs that there's something wrong starts with him being locked out but his parents aren't going to come home to help him get inside, over-apologizing, feeling like his presence is a burden and would rather be someplace uncomfy due to fear of being perceived as bothersome, people-pleasing to avoid further conflict between Craig and Bernard, and then he mentions eating in his own room? Damn. I understand how Craig is pissed at Jason because of their history and honestly, I don't blame him. Circumstances still doesn't excuse anyone to be a jerk but he does deserve a second chance as a kid. Anyways, I'm happy to see that both of them are friends now but that still doesn't dismiss that Jason doesn't magically know how to do good. He is one of my favorite characters ever since s3. He is flawed and complex. We're given something to understand why he acts jerky but not something to excuse it. Kid needs some love and just needs to be guided in the right direction. I love him. Love Mrs. Williams for being so kind and welcoming. Her words were so validating when Jason thanked her for everything at the end :)❤️❤️
I feel that. As someone who grew up in an abusive home, every little detail of Jason’s people-pleasing (the dishes, the fear of being a burden, and willingness to be in an unsafe situation to prevent conflict) and getting locked out with no support system all hit uncomfortably close to home. COTC has become my favorite modern cartoon for their willingness to cover these topics without coming off as preachy. I wish I had this show as a child in the 90’s.
Jason has been through some character development and definitely went from an annoying little brat to one of my favourite characters. Yes, he still has a long way ahead of him, but there is a big difference between his character from season 1 and now. His help with defeating Xavier was surely a great start in his character development, and "Scoutguest" is the episode that makes his character more deep. I think that's not all they have to show us about Jason, and I really hope we'll se him more in the show.
I feel like that’s why Jason never used to be kind. When you have a horrible family then that can anger you and make you cruel. Craig was like a class representative that shows a good example but some things anger class reps. For example with Maya,Craig is showing a good example to her. She said something kind to Craig once but after she said that the champions liked hanging out with him and she was still over the fence with Craig but it will take a bit longer for maya to be actually friends with Craig.
I used to hate Jason for being an annoying know it all, but after watching the episode “scout guest” I actually felt bad for him and I relate to him so much. Jason is actually a really nice kid who just wants to have friends, but a lot of people dislike him for no reason. This happened to me too and now he’s one of my favorite characters
This episode really gave us an insight on Jayson's home life with his parents and why he acts the way he does. Maybe in the future we'll find out more about Eliza's home life and why she she also acts the way she is. We know she's rich and a spoiled brat who wants attention and entertainment for her own selfish desires. I hope in future episodes we'll find an explanation to her behavior (maybe it had something to do with her parents as well)
@@kari6104 And Richard (finders keepers), don't get me wrong, i hate him but with that "I do what i want" attitude, he looks like he has a dark past and would have a lot of potential to be a villain.
This episode was such a good way to represent what you would call neglectful parenting or parenting and the effect it has on kids , they put it subtly but the audience understood Jason’s life style completely. This episode made cry rivers 😭, but it’s one of the many reasons I love This show , it isn’t portraying every kid to have a family like Craig’s … some have both parents ( like Craig’s ) , single parents ( like jp , Kelsey’s , raj ) or remarried or dating parents ( like jason , and also jp) Also , each with diff religions , languages , ethnicities and races also with the add on of +LGBTQIA , they don’t make a big deal it’s normalized . This show is definitely a break through and is loved so much 🤭and I hope it continues to thrive 💕
I like how the representation characters don't seem FORCEd It all seems so natural, like a bunch of kids just met up and started playing at the creek. They (the creators of this show) don't make it a point to show or remind us that.... they included diversity, they're not try hards
Tbh id def like to see an episode where Jason confronts them or just quits forest scouts due to pressure or like just stops trying bc I can see in him character that hes a really good kid and that he should be loved as much as Craig its just that I wish others in the show could see that too
I actually consider craig and Jason now friends. since Jason and craig have an understanding and since he could easily have a better role model system with the Williams opening up as a surrogate family. however it's unknown if Nicole will likely visit this with social services or we might see Jason's parents in a future dinner episode where we see their behavior and the Williams and finally Jason calling them out.
I loved that episode, it was nice to kinda learn about jason and see how craig handled the situation. Enemies that become friends is a lovely bonus to any story
Jason is my favorite character at the show and I think something between the two boys finally start to show up ,Jason tried to show some feelings before but finally Craig noticed that ,I really felt sorry for jason at this episode
Honestly I used to not like Jason but after this episode I saw him in a different that I can understand. I have a friend who has a father like Jason’s and I can see why Jason acts the way he does. Jason just needs somebody to give him that love he doesn’t get at home like from Craig’s family who I can see giving that to him. Jessica and Bernard clearly already like having him around for different reasons but still liking him.
Do an video for Carter Brown and Zoe of Cardboard City. I've always like Carter, also the fact he had quick a quick character development and redemption. Would like to see a video on Carter and Zoe.
honestly never would think I could relate to Jason and honestly I'm kinda in the same boat as him I've been girl scouts for years and my parents aren't exactly like this but do feel his pain when his says his dad brags about him to his coworkers which my mom dose and even if there only a character in a show it kinda hurts to see someone else in the same place I'm still I start in kindergarten and now I'm going to be junior in high school and I still can't quit
I would like a breakdown of Kelsey as a character as she processes her life wither her friends and how she views it without her mother and now being a member of the LGBTQ+. She's one of the best examples of how one should express themselves as coming out in terms of sexuality and loving another person who is the same sex as you.
I have a theory that JP knows that he is in a show Reason 1:in the episode where he was with the horse girls he said “come on everybody at home” Reason 2: when Craig ate a pucker sucker he looks at the sky and sees a faint version of his family and JP says “I see them too” Reason 3: when Craig try’s to find elder marks ferret Kelsey texts Craig and he looks over the texting image P.s take this with a grain of salt :/
Honestly, Craig's family is one of my favourite depictions of a TV family, and honestly seeing that they're POC it's nice to see a positive portrayal of that in media. Throughout the episode I saw a lot of myself in Jason since I grew up in a situation where my family simply didn't do family dinners or I had to go home by myself most days. Thankfully I wasn't neglected and my family didn't treat me nearly to the extent that Jason's seems to, but seeing how grateful he was for the hospitality and how much he admired Craig's home life, he reflects exactly how I feel about the show, especially Craig's family. It's just the sort of thing I wish I had growing up, y'know, and it's nice to feel validated on both sides; in relating to Jason and in seeing something I never had access to in a positive light from people who look like me.
First it was Max, now it's Jason. I'm just a sucker for the "brat who is secretly a deeply hurt kid" types. Good video all around, mate! Have a like and subscribe!
I actually like the details, concept and how realistic the show can be especially in situations that is happening in real life. I remember when this first release.. I was so hyped! When they recently premiered the "Craig before the creek", It was a blast!
jason is like sasha both bad parents both divorced parents and hes a control freak and a bully but he revealed he wasnt like this it’s his parents jason is not a bad kid he’s just lost
Could you talk about Richard? The Kid who called dibs, Although nothing is known about him, I have the theory that, like Jason, his parents don't pay attention to him at home, or something left him with a severe trauma so that he behaves just like that. And I have a theory that connects about why he behaves like this: Richard may be someone close to King Xavier, because if Richard knew that call dibs was serious business and if someone as spoiled as Xavier is friends with someone as unpleasant, untouchable and closed mind like Richard, it's not because of candy, it's because Xavier deep down knows that Richard is equal to him. And better think that Xavier at some point knew Richard and he led him to the bad way. We know about Xavier, from Richard, on the other hand, and as I said, or do not receive care at home or is traumatized by something. (After all, emotionally unstable people are easier to corrupt) He's a potential villain.
To be honest I feel like they should really hang out to build up the relationship then just sleeping over… because Craig seem like he thinks Jason was a bully or someone that wants something for himself. But now when Jason told Craig some stuff it seems like a growing relationship then disliking each other’s actions….
Actually some episode where Jason wanted to talk to Craig anyway but was too worried about making sure his dad noticed him so he didn’t really think before doing it..but Craig really doesn’t use his dislike as a reason to not give people a chance when needed… That’s what i think..
I can see why this show is still on, writers are taking the show to a new and much needed direction of educating kids in showing home life and possible abuse... also that troll kid is definitely off 👤🥺🙇🏽
I'm a grown ass man, ready to tear up over this damn kid. lol Such a great show, I most certainly hope they follow up on Jason and maybe even offer a resolution...
2:10 did anyone else notice the symbolism in the flowers that were planted near the chest containing all of the notebooks? Jason specifically exclaimed “What did you do to the Rhododendrons!” And Rhododendrons symbolize Beauty and Warning/Danger. That whole episode foreshadowed the capture the flag war, so I’m pretty sure the flowers were on purpose.
@@Lady-T3A YESSS IVE BEEN LOOKING INTO FLOWER SYMBOLS OCCASIONALLY EVER SINCE!! whenever I have a character with plant based powers I make it so flowers with symbolic meanings sprout around them when they feel strong emotions :DDD
It is likely Jason does have rather absent parents, as he said his father seemed to only show attention towards him when bragging about him to his co workers and his stepmother doesn’t seem comfortable around him. It is something that likely isn’t too uncommon where how some kids have parents or a step parent who is not fully comfortable around their child.
I like the idea of Jason being a pseudo brother to craig and spending many nights at craigs or over at craigs more often i the future, a place where he feels welcomed
I swear jason seems like an alternate universe version of the kid from fnaf 4 [chris or evan afton] cause of 2 main key similarities: Neglectful parents, And No REAL mother figure [we never see the mom in any fnaf games at all]
3:07 TBH I accidentally made ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many Slave jokes from this episode
I think she was considering it, hence why she decided for a more formal dinner. She wanted to talk to him and learn what his family was like. But they don't sound necessarily bad enough to call CPS over, which, ironically, just makes the situation more confusing.
On the one hand, I DO feel pity for Jason...that is if he truly DOES have a negative home environment. On the OTHER hand, however; bad parents are no excuse for a kid to act poorly towards others. If something's going on, you NEED to tell somebody
@cartoonuniverse I would gess do considering Jason’s need to have power and validation it would makes sense for his parents to be people who aren’t a round as his parents could have actually have power status such the could be either politician businesswoman or combination of the two as that’s what i would gess going off what I know before hand.
perhaps they may have Scopophobia (the excessive fear of being stared at.) or Facial dysmorphia (a mental health condition where the sufferer has a warped perception of the appearance of their face.)
By the way, information about new episodes of Craig of the creek is already known. 15 will be released immediately and season 4 will end. Spoiler: Some of the series will be called *A cursed Word (say, forgotten) *Puppy love and, mysterious *I stayed in the dark. Very interesting, it remains only to wait.
Ngl jason is way better than wildernessa. I never liked her she was just annoying, bragging how she knew the best about animals. It's only later when she saved craig jp and kelsey from the swamp that i respected her
Which of the following kids should I talk about next?
1) Deltron
2) Kelsey
3) Helen
4) Wildernessa
2?
Do Kelsey next. Everything about his life and characters have been lay completely out in the show. She'd be prefect for a character breakdown.

I want to know what Craig's mom heard on the phone. She seemed to get a bigger picture that wouldn't have been shared with the kids.
Yeah, that phone call makes me wonder, especially given how her voice changes. My guess is that she called his stepmom and she gave a really stupid reason for not being at home. Or she was drunk.
@@rosesweetcharlotte If she was drunk that would be so sad. Poor Jason and bless Nicole
@@sean668 I mean, we don't know if she was drunk. But given how Nicole sounded after the phone call I have to wonder
Jason and Roger need to form a support group or something
Right?
@@nelmae6026 so a terrible mother.
@@zeropsaft exactly
@@nelmae6026 Jason never mentioned his mother, like it's unknown if his mother is deceased or divorce.
When Craig and Bernard are arguin, Jason go to wash the dishes, that means his partents use to argue a lot and he preferes to do the chores so they stop figthing. That's a signg of a very neglected kid
Facts
I've always kinda liked Jason as he and Kelseys play styles are similar to how I played and there home life was similar to mine but after this episode where we learn more about Jason I liked him even more with how similar my home life was though it was my mom who I didn't talk to much growing up but I also had to learn to be independent very early and enjoyed my mom bragging about me even though she wasn't around to experience it with me (as for if Jason and Craig need to a dress there issues no I don't think they need to now there still just kids and the kinds of issues Jason is going through won't make much sense till he's older like he gets that something is wrong but the issues kinda to big for a kids show to really tackle but I do think Jason should apologize for past play time stuff or for just being rude to Craig )
this was a rough one to edit, i cried like three times thinking about jasons home life.
@@CartoonUniverse Don't worry man. I'm many kids, unfortunately, have gone through similar stuff like Jason. Also, I already hate his step mom.
@@Kiki35957 I just hope maybe we can meet his step mom and his father and how his home life is but I don’t think we will :(
Jason's backstory is similar to that of Russell from Up. Both have neglectful fathers and stepmothers who try their hardest to keep their step-son as far away from their new spouse as possible.
Oh my gosh and they’re both scouts!
He’s my favorite character in the show honestly
im not even kidding when i say i cried during this episode
Jason has been through some character development and definitely went from an annoying little brat to one of my favourite characters. Yes, he still has a long way ahead of him, but there is a big difference between his character from season 1 and now. His help with defeating Xavier was surely a great start in his character development, and "Scoutguest" is the episode that makes his character more deep. I think that's not all they have to show us about Jason, and I really hope we'll se him more in the show.
Craig of the creek is incredible on so many levels
Facts
I always figured Jason and Craig were well on their way to becoming friends since season 3.
I wanna see you do Wildernessa next.
I hope in future episodes we'll find an explanation to her behavior (maybe it had something to do with her parents as well)
I sort of feel like she isn't as rich as she says she is
@@kari6104 And Richard (finders keepers), don't get me wrong, i hate him but with that "I do what i want" attitude, he looks like he has a dark past and would have a lot of potential to be a villain.
This episode was such a good way to represent what you would call neglectful parenting or parenting and the effect it has on kids , they put it subtly but the audience understood Jason’s life style completely.
This episode made cry rivers 😭, but it’s one of the many reasons I love This show , it isn’t portraying every kid to have a family like Craig’s … some have both parents ( like Craig’s ) , single parents ( like jp , Kelsey’s , raj ) or remarried or dating parents ( like jason , and also jp)
Also , each with diff religions , languages , ethnicities and races also with the add on of +LGBTQIA , they don’t make a big deal it’s normalized .
This show is definitely a break through and is loved so much 🤭and I hope it continues to thrive 💕
I like how the representation characters don't seem FORCEd
It all seems so natural, like a bunch of kids just met up and started playing at the creek.
They (the creators of this show) don't make it a point to show or remind us that.... they included diversity, they're not try hards
It's really nice to see this after I just finished the series
Tbh id def like to see an episode where Jason confronts them or just quits forest scouts due to pressure or like just stops trying bc I can see in him character that hes a really good kid and that he should be loved as much as Craig its just that I wish others in the show could see that too
But it sounds like he really loves the Scouts. If it wasn't that, his father would just pressure him over other things.
This episode was beyond real
Coming from someone who used to have a similar experience to Jason. This episode hit me hard
I loved that episode, it was nice to kinda learn about jason and see how craig handled the situation. Enemies that become friends is a lovely bonus to any story
ok
Jason is my favorite character at the show and I think something between the two boys finally start to show up ,Jason tried to show some feelings before but finally Craig noticed that ,I really felt sorry for jason at this episode
Honestly I used to not like Jason but after this episode I saw him in a different that I can understand. I have a friend who has a father like Jason’s and I can see why Jason acts the way he does. Jason just needs somebody to give him that love he doesn’t get at home like from Craig’s family who I can see giving that to him. Jessica and Bernard clearly already like having him around for different reasons but still liking him.
I ligit almost cried in the bunk bed scene
Do an video for Carter Brown and Zoe of Cardboard City. I've always like Carter, also the fact he had quick a quick character development and redemption. Would like to see a video on Carter and Zoe.
Cardboard Carter will happen eventually i promise. waiting for another episode of him to do it.
@@CartoonUniverse but the episodes have already been leaked on Reddit and no cardboard city is in the plans
It's nice to see Jason getting some more character depth beyond being a pest/borderline bully.
honestly never would think I could relate to Jason and honestly I'm kinda in the same boat as him I've been girl scouts for years and my parents aren't exactly like this but do feel his pain when his says his dad brags about him to his coworkers which my mom dose and even if there only a character in a show it kinda hurts to see someone else in the same place I'm still I start in kindergarten and now I'm going to be junior in high school and I still can't quit
I started liking Jason the time he became a double agent to defeat king Xavier
Honestly the way Jason just started trauma dumping to his worst enemy made me so sad
I would like a breakdown of Kelsey as a character as she processes her life wither her friends and how she views it without her mother and now being a member of the LGBTQ+. She's one of the best examples of how one should express themselves as coming out in terms of sexuality and loving another person who is the same sex as you.
I have a theory that JP knows that he is in a show
Reason 1:in the episode where he was with the horse girls he said “come on everybody at home”
Reason 2: when Craig ate a pucker sucker he looks at the sky and sees a faint version of his family and JP says “I see them too”
Reason 3: when Craig try’s to find elder marks ferret Kelsey texts Craig and he looks over the texting image
P.s take this with a grain of salt :/
Tbh. I loved Jason since day 1. And i do think they should definitely talk more
Honestly, Craig's family is one of my favourite depictions of a TV family, and honestly seeing that they're POC it's nice to see a positive portrayal of that in media.
Poor Jason
I actually like the details, concept and how realistic the show can be especially in situations that is happening in real life. I remember when this first release.. I was so hyped! When they recently premiered the "Craig before the creek", It was a blast!
That’s just a sad way to raise your kids you need to raise them not let them raise themselves especially at that age
jason is like sasha
both bad parents
both divorced parents and hes a control freak and a bully
but he revealed he wasnt like this
it’s his parents
jason is not a bad kid
he’s just lost
We don't entirely know if Sasha's parents are bad. They're just divorced.
I mean, if people watched the episode it was literally explained in the video, there not absent per say there just not great parents
(After all, emotionally unstable people are easier to corrupt)
He's a potential villain.
I would like to talk about Helen but i love Deltron so much and you definitly need to talk about them :D
To be honest I feel like they should really hang out to build up the relationship then just sleeping over… because Craig seem like he thinks Jason was a bully or someone that wants something for himself. But now when Jason told Craig some stuff it seems like a growing relationship then disliking each other’s actions….
Actually some episode where Jason wanted to talk to Craig anyway but was too worried about making sure his dad noticed him so he didn’t really think before doing it..but Craig really doesn’t use his dislike as a reason to not give people a chance when needed…
That’s what i think..
I can see why this show is still on, writers are taking the show to a new and much needed direction of educating kids in showing home life and possible abuse... also that troll kid is definitely off 👤🥺🙇🏽
Okay,I Like Jason Now...
I'm a grown ass man, ready to tear up over this damn kid. lol Such a great show, I most certainly hope they follow up on Jason and maybe even offer a resolution...
Ok this has nothing to do with Jason but like I need to know more about the junk lord like he’s a great character bruh
AHHH YES YES YES SOMEONE ELSE SAW THAT I'VE BEEN FIXATING ON THE FLOWER SYMBOLIZISM SO MUCH.
It is something that likely isn’t too uncommon where how some kids have parents or a step parent who is not fully comfortable around their child.
damn, seeing this after the ending of cotc, it hits hard. goodybye craig of the creek. you had a great run.
I know how jason feels I can't and won't remember of my birth mom and my stepmom was not that caring for me but was to my stepsisters
I feel so bad for Jason😢😢😢😢
i like how we are hyper analyzing a kids show about children playing pretend
I like the idea of Jason being a pseudo brother to craig
and spending many nights at craigs or over at craigs more often i the future, a place where he feels welcomed
This made me cry but Craig of the creek is a good show so its fine
If I was Craig’s mom I would call children protective services
I think she was considering it, hence why she decided for a more formal dinner. She wanted to talk to him and learn what his family was like. But they don't sound necessarily bad enough to call CPS over, which, ironically, just makes the situation more confusing.
On the one hand, I DO feel pity for Jason...that is if he truly DOES have a negative home environment.
On the OTHER hand, however; bad parents are no excuse for a kid to act poorly towards others. If something's going on, you NEED to tell somebody
It sounds like Jason's home-life isn't abusive to the point where CPS is warranted. This, ironically, can make it even more confusing on how to react.
What episode is this so that I can cry
@cartoonuniverse I would gess do considering Jason’s need to have power and validation it would makes sense for his parents to be people who aren’t a round as his parents could have actually have power status such the could be either politician businesswoman or combination of the two as that’s what i would gess going off what I know before hand.
Neat essay 😊
I hate him before but now I like him and wildernessa
0:37 I'm still waiting for the ski mask kid to get his episode....
perhaps they may have Scopophobia (the excessive fear of being stared at.) or Facial dysmorphia (a mental health condition where the sufferer has a warped perception of the appearance of their face.)
