@LockyDarts1 I learned Song of Healing by ear, from playing the game actually. After I started playing I found myself figuring out where everything was in the lead part. When I did this, I listened to song a bit closer to get the backing guitar, added a few notes and threw on some big string sections. :)
@Ragby Yeah I was surprised that so many people were pissed I didn't put it in the Medley, I thought more people would realize that I was saving it for last. :D
A few months ago, my roommate introduced me to CSGuitar89 and then I saw your Hyrule Field cover with him and starting watching your vids. I have not missed a Tuesday since. You sir have a musical gift. As a drummer, I respect your musical talent and applaud thee. As a 20 year old, I am in the same generation of gaming experience as you and in my opinion, the N64 is the best console. Your N64 covers are the best on RUclips and if I lived in MA I would totally game/jam with you dude.
How does this only have 2756 views? This is awesome. We've got people on youtube ranting that they missed a sale or some pointless bullshit that get millions of views, yet you've actually got talent and you're ignored.
What an awesome way to end the series man! Congrats on completing the absolute inhumane task of doing a 7 minute video each week by the way, I'll never be able to do that... I love your little secret video too :) The bells, sound and editing all make it so freaking creepy.
That transition screen, the new lighting, even the more somber tone your favor took...then it got creepier and creepier and finally that laugh just pushed it over the edge. Nice build-up. and
@FamilyJules7X That's awesome you can learn it just from hearing it, also thanks for the reply first youtuber to bother answering a question. You rock man.
Awesome medley! I like how you wait with the song text so we can figure out what song it is. And I know I always talk about your nice mastering, but this time I have to say it was absolutely perfect, really impressive! Thanks for all medleys!
Champing way to end the set, Jules. I hope the regular-sized videos cause you fewer headaches and feel like a well-deserved break. You spoil us with your awesome.
@Beebality No unfortunately, I stopped around when it was paused before new years, these videos kind of took up all my time but I really want to check it out again soon. :)
@ax12ification Probably something along the lines of Killswitch Engage or something. I know you'd probably think I would say sevenfold but that would be kind of weird I think...
@mechazeep I plan on doing some others. I've done other platforms like SNES and PS2 and stuff. I think I've pretty much milked the N64 for all it's worth though so it's time to do some other stuff. :)
Man I just subscribed to you a few days ago, and I'm glad I did! You don't know how happy I was when I got home and saw this in my sub box. I love your covers! You are amazing! N64 is my favorite console ever. The music is amazing! Keep up your awesome playing!
@BlademasterJale Hey man, I hit up Kingdom Hearts with Simple and Clean and I did a Metal Gear Solid Medley too. Those were from a while back though, you should check em out. :)
this is awesome, you can almost feel the energy and emotion put behind these games. Theses games were like Nintendos last kick for the N64, and a great kick it was, miss those good old days
That bloody unlisted video was the last thing i saw before I went to sleep. Well, the first ten seconds anyway, until that BLOODY MAJORAS MASK SCREAMER!!!
You captured the tone and feeling of the Song of Healing so well. It was truly a beautiful piece of work. Also, if you were to make another Diddy Kong Racing Melody in the future, I have no doubt it'd be up there among the best melodies you've done. personally, the songs from DKR are perfect for guitar.
@saksy2 Yep. :) They are all technically 7:03 but RUclips tags on an extra second. And Kirby The Crystal Shards actually ends at 7:03 too. I don't count the bass drum at the end. :D
@ImAStoneyCrustyDude I knew not everyone would understand. It's a tribute to a creepy internet story called Haunted Majora's Mask by Jadusable. Check it out if you don't mind temporary insomnia. :D
jungle falls was just the funnest song of this bunch, it is obvious you had a good time recording it. you're almost a year into your covers, more diddy kong please!
This is by far the best you have ever sounded not that you didnt sound good before but this is amazing i even decided to make this account to tell you lol keep up the great work
@FamilyJules7X Oh yeah, I remember your Simple and Clean cover. That's actually part of why I'd like to see you cover more; Sanctuary certainly comes to mind. Your MGS medley completely skipped my mind though XD Thanks for the reminder :D
OH DANG Song of Healing gave me friggin' goosebumps, man. D: Well done. Excellent touch with the Happy Mask Salesman's laugh. That being said, this whole medley was excellent. It sounded great, both compositionally and tone quality...ally.
@BaraBrandurHenriksen Unfortunately, the last Metroid game I played was Metroid prime about 9 years ago. If I were to do one then I'd have to pick up the game and refresh myself on it. And about the drumming, haha, I work fast, apparently too fast. I did a collab with a drummer and he had a hard time keeping up.
again awesome! Though, i got to say, when Song Of Healing started, i got sad, cus now i realized that this was the last N64 medley video :( Well well, you deserve some time off too and hopefully you'll do more of these in the future :D
Excellent, excellent work! I really loved this collection. Unfortunately, I don't have access to my good speakers until this weekend, so I won't comment on mixing and stuff until I can hear it through them. But I loved the composition. And yes, I was upset when the Song of Healing wasn't in the Majora's Mask medley, but I had a feeling it had to go here, and I'm very glad you made it dark. Also, the secret video... FUCK dude! I'm reading up on that thing now. Weird shit!
@FamilyJules7X oohh sorry lol i was busy so im catching up on all your covers now :) it feels really odd talking to someone i admire and look up to so much, so used to being such a silent YT fan for people lol
People curious about the secret link, it's based on a "creepy-pasta" some time ago in which a guy described a hacked version of Majora's Mask that he found at some garage sale. Recurring items in the video he made of it were the Song of Healing being played backwards, the Mask Salesman's laughter, and that ever-so-creepy statue of Link. All in all a creepy video, which Jules made an awesome tribute to.
I really very much alot enjoyed this video. They're always awesome. P.S. Hypothetically speaking, would it be weird if one of us "youtubers" knew your whole name?
this is AWSOME! every day since i first saw you, i keep on listening to your songs. when i'm bored, i just listen to yor songs, and that makes me want to do somthing, while listening! when i saw your medley of banjo kazooie, HOLY SHIT! that made dust off my old N64 and beat BK again... 3 times XD but i have 2 questions: 1. are you gonna make a metroid cover in the near future? 2. can i be your persenal drummer? xD
AWW YEAH! All the songs here... K. Rool fight, Hag 1, Song of Healing, Forever Forest, Kirby 64, Conker, and a few other songs I don't care about, but were very well done! NICE!
@FamilyJules7X Oh that is great then. I suggest you check out the Jadusable Wikia to learn all about it. They guy will be releasing a video game based on the story during summer but anyway.. This is a great medley. Keep up the good work. I am a big fan of what you do =D
dude you look soooo serene and calm during song of healing so glad you included it gotta love that song
That bassline at 2:13 is possibly the most amazing fucking thing I've ever heard. The K. Rool battle was just ASKING to be made into metal.
@TheRoysis It's a reverse dive bomb. Hit a harmonic, drop the whammy bar and slow bring it back up. :)

@Deathmagicslayer My kids are going to be the most metal kids there ever was.
What an awesome way to end the series man! Congrats on completing the absolute inhumane task of doing a 7 minute video each week by the way, I'll never be able to do that... I love your little secret video too :) The bells, sound and editing all make it so freaking creepy.
The K. Rool battle theme was spectacular
That transition screen, the new lighting, even the more somber tone your favor took...then it got creepier and creepier and finally that laugh just pushed it over the edge.
Nice build-up.
and
@FairlessSWE I actually got the new guitar today! It's going to be in my next video. :)
@FamilyJules7X That's awesome you can learn it just from hearing it, also thanks for the reply first youtuber to bother answering a question. You rock man.
@sc0rpi0n1990 Happy birthday dude!
@FairlessSWE Yes, I now have a new Guitar, Bass and Cello. :)
@Muenchies I'm not in school at the moment, I graduated High School and still working on getting into a good college.
@AbzoluteReality It's not real, just a really well put together story.
Awesome medley! I like how you wait with the song text so we can figure out what song it is. And I know I always talk about your nice mastering, but this time I have to say it was absolutely perfect, really impressive! Thanks for all medleys!
Everything you play blows my mind!! Seriously, every time a song starts I have to put my hands on my head to keep it from exploding!
@MTonyD I wanted the bells to be a little jarring, almost scary. I'm glad you thought it was a nice touch though. :)
@ganon167 I do not actually, I've been really wanting to get back into the story but I haven't had time. :( *Sorry for the late response...*
@charmedguy1001 Superb. :)
@FairlessSWE Nope, it's not another Schecter. But The new Synster Custom looks really really cool! :)
@Braffmaster It's really all in my head. Writing everything would take way too long. :p
@howyoudoinguy I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now. I actually just saw A7X last night too. :)
@nos0323 Yeah I played it in my Iona Monastery cover. :)
Champing way to end the set, Jules. I hope the regular-sized videos cause you fewer headaches and feel like a well-deserved break. You spoil us with your awesome.
@superstriker00 Not sure, I got it as a gift a few years back. :)
@slayermask2009 Up until mid July, yes. I'm going to do 10 more and then take a much needed break. :)
@Beebality No unfortunately, I stopped around when it was paused before new years, these videos kind of took up all my time but I really want to check it out again soon. :)
@SollunatFear Yeah we talk a lot, we've become really good friends. :D
@superstriker00 It'd be a Fender T-Bucket 300CE
@MaxGoldhand To get my tones I use a Line 6 Pod X3 :)
You have unbelievable editing skills, not to mention your musical talent!
Man I just subscribed to you a few days ago, and I'm glad I did! You don't know how happy I was when I got home and saw this in my sub box. I love your covers! You are amazing! N64 is my favorite console ever. The music is amazing! Keep up your awesome playing!
Great way to end it! I listen to these medley's to and from uni and while I work on assignments. Brilliant stuff!
@SollunatFear Oooh, right. Sry I guess since there was no reference to Star Fox, I was in a different mindset.
@FamilyJules7X we are all going to miss you while you're on your much needed break
@TheRoysis Nope, same guitars...
That bloody unlisted video was the last thing i saw before I went to sleep. Well, the first ten seconds anyway, until that BLOODY MAJORAS MASK SCREAMER!!!
I fell in love instantly at Neo Star Cave.
@tristenj1992 Yes as a matter of fact. :)
@dedarkyoshi9 No, I'm working on it though.
@Sixx4367 I just kind of shopped through google for fonts I thought would work.
I think I was pretty freakin' happy when I saw you playing Hag 1. It's personally one of my favorite video game music
@MusicalAbsinthe Yeah, I love it. It kinda reminds me if Grant Kirkhope joined the band. Very melodic Danny Elfman style metal. :)
The N64 beats the crap out of any other home console! I love your covers dude. Keep at it! You have a fan in me :D
@jmannunez Yeah, they're really cool over at RN. :)
The ending was so... Beautiful in a creepy sense. Love you man, keep kicking balls.
jungle falls was just the funnest song of this bunch, it is obvious you had a good time recording it. you're almost a year into your covers, more diddy kong please!
What a champtastic way to end these champing medleys. Well champed, sir, well champed indeed
Neo Star caves, forever ever forest, K.rool battle,hag 1,jungle falls were my favorite! what am I talking, everything was my favorite :). Awesome job

@FamilyJules7X I just recently learned the song of healing and you play it differently(plus more awesomely) than i do, great work!
@anbukakashi26 Try playing around with it more and think objectively about your tone and ask for advice from friends often. :)
@wooguy78 Well, then I guess you shouldn't have done that. :p
Again. Awesome work my friend :) And the laugh at the end made it perfect :) Keep up the good work bro :D
@bashingthrough Honestly? Geodude. He's my bro, and you can't lose with 6 Geodudes. Fact. :D

@FamilyJules7X Well, tell them to give me one. Because you use it so well I'm convinced I want it.
Excellent, excellent work! I really loved this collection. Jules, you're my favorite guitarist on RUclips, period :3
The song of healing was worth the wait. Great version, and now I see why you didn't add it to the Majora's Mask Medley.
this is AWSOME! every day since i first saw you, i keep on listening to your songs. when i'm bored, i just listen to yor songs, and that makes me want to do somthing, while listening! when i saw your medley of banjo kazooie, HOLY SHIT! that made dust off my old N64 and beat BK again... 3 times XD but i have 2 questions:

EVERYONE! Song of unhealing (song of healing backwards) link/annotation is at 7:03 in the bottom right corner!
Really, you are the master. Great end's cover.
@FamilyJules7X, hey! thanks for the birthday present!!! todays my birthday man lol
@FamilyJules7X

BEAUTIFUL job on the Donkey Kong one.
song of healing are the best song of majora's mask.
amazing dude i don't know what to say
the best part was definitely the diddy kong racing clip. makes me want to play that game real bad
omg the song of healing was soooo goooood!!! i could almost hear the clock tower working above my head !!!!!
You should definitely do a full version of either Hag 1 or K.Rool Battle.
AWW YEAH!
All the songs here... K. Rool fight, Hag 1, Song of Healing, Forever Forest, Kirby 64, Conker, and a few other songs I don't care about, but were very well done! NICE!
Just the song of healing... wow....
@FamilyJules7X
