Rather not. If you renew the contract with no breaks, you're supposed to take care of it. Landlord may do the deep cleaning when tenants switch and before a new one is moveing in

Very informative video, Weronika! One question: would it be too risky to sign a rental lease online before I reach Poland? My employer would need 3 month's rental contract to apply for my PESEL number, but they'd like to have it ASAP so I can join sooner.
Hello Rohit! From our experience, our tenants sign the lease agreement only after they see the apartments. Signing it before would be risky. Also, would you have to pay for the lease the time you're still not here? When applying for the PESEL number in Poland, you receive in on a spot. We don't know why your employer needs it in advance. But maybe there's a company policy we simply don't know.
Is it possible to find an apartment without actually physically being in Poland? Is this recommended? How to find an apartment before moving to Poland? Or do you recommend living in an airbnb/hotel while searching for an apartment?
