"My Take On The Wheel" For this plan to work, Lorkhan had to be Pure and Innocent. Akatosh became the God of Time. Arkay, the God of Life Cycles. Kynareth, the Goddess of Wind and Breath. Then Came Julianos, Master of Architecture and Wisdom. Mara, Mother of All Creatures. Dibella, The Beauty of All Realms. Zenithar, The God of Man. And Stendarr, The Man Grown Strong and Formidable in All Things. So by His sacrifice, He became the World upon which we walk. And the Eight Essences, Conspiring Against Him in This Wheel, solidified that their essences be spreadout through Mundus. Nirn became the Name of our World, our Cosmic Body. But Realms were split. Lorkhan's Body pushed the righteous upward, whereas the unrighteous were thrown down. Knowing this, Magnus immediately withdrew from the creation process at hand, Returning to the Divine Above with Great Power. He created the Sun in his wake, providing Light and Life to the planet of Nirn. Logic and Wisdom, Architecture and Light all come from Magnus. But The Eight found that their Influence was spreadout and unquantifiable. The Process of Creation Ongoing... Spirits Rising and Spirits Falling. The Eight sought to solidify Their Divinity, for Their Sake, seeing that they would not be returning to Aetherius. Architecture was still thus. This was the moment. Each of the Eight Took to themselves one accomplice from among the stock of the et'ada. For A Wheel was about to be created. Akatosh took Dagon, who then became Mehrunes through his battle with Alduin. He is Hope and Change. Dibella took Meridia, A Being of Light and Color. Mara took Nocturnal, A Female Being of Shadow. Kynareth had Hircine, A Wild Man set Free. Zenithar had Sanguine, God of Lust and Blood. Stendarr took to him Boethiah of the Rising Transforming Spirits. Arkay found the Great Azura in her twilight and morning representation of the cosmos. And Julianos fed all the Wisdom of Infinity, though he began to fall, to Hermaeus Mora. So he was driven to the Spoke immediately. Each of these Eight "Divine" Influences Retreated from the World, with the power they still had. All fled in Different Directions, Being 8 Equidistant Parts. And as they fled, They drove each of their 8 accomplices directly into Lorkhan's body. For The Center was Hollow and Empty, just as in everything else. Material, and A Fellowsuffering of Existence is simply the Union of Spirit with Matter. Which was Nothingness, but Became Something. Spirit was nothing without matter, and matter was nothing without Spirit. They Came from Entirely Divorced Realms and neither spoke nor mingled with the other. So in order to save this universe Lorkhan approached Matter, face to face. His Heart was Ripped from his chest and His Body was Flung into the Risen Matter. And Indeed, The Matter took shape, Molding Itself as the Pattern of Lorkhan's Body. Auriel, The God of the Bow, The pre-eminent Aspect of Akatosh, mounted Lorkhan's Divine Heart, Still Beating, And Shot it Across the Sky, Back into the Being, that was Matter, that was Lorkhan. And the World ignited with Life. Lorkhan's Being is the World Itself. And His other Aspect is a Divine Emissary. A Returning Hero, who never could really die, as if death was ever an actual end of being, For you, or for Anyone Else. Everyone and Everything Came From Somewhere. And Everyone and Everything is Going someplace New. This Planet would revolve around Magnus, The Great Sun and Pool of Aetherius. But the planet would not yet rotate, meaning that The Last Cycle of Day and Night was as of yet unachieved. So In order to grant Lorkhan Life in 4-Dimensions, And in order to Pour Divinity directly into The Soul of Lorkhan, The Eight Divines Launched The Eight Stars of Night Into The Abyss that was Lorkhan's Soul. They died within his Core, and resurrected in the bleakness and black of his Body. In driving the spirits home this way, an Anchor was made. A Tie was bonded, Between each of the Eight Divines and Lorkhan himself. And as they fled, they left the Vestiges of their Bodies behind, Being clutched in this Divine Pattern of Diagram. For They Tarried Long, and Vested Great Interest in this Dawn of the Cosmos. All that was left of Each of them was The Simple, "I Am." in regards of their Identity. Who They Were, and Who They Are. And they died that way, Collapsing at the Brook of Aetherius. Dispersed across the Winds of Infinity. But their Sparks were Taken Up, Risen by Aetherius Herself. And Their Divinity was Solidified. From the Core of Lorkhan, Out Past The Infinite Bounds of Space. Through Their Actions, During the Creation, They Came to Exist In Aetherius Themselves.
Honestly my first look of the wheel when I looked at the back side of the Morrowind game disk, the reflection of the light on it made the spokes. Then when I turned the disk sideways I saw the tower, but then I zero summed and never shared it.
16 holes for 8 spokes actually makes perfect sense if you consider the fact that a spoke would go completely through the center, as it has two ends. One spoke would fit into two holes, both opposite of each other.
Nocturnal is "Ur-Dra", not Ur-Daedra, that title belongs to Mora. Dra means ancestor, so she was the first ancestor, before the titles of Aedra and Daedra when they were all simply et'Ada. She was the first to form a void territory after witnessing the original Void, and the other Padomaics followed after by making more which appropriated into Oblivion. But the actual Daedra and they're concepts, as you had stated, did not come until the Mundus' creation, where Mora is born from Magnus' thrown-away ideas before anyone was even copying Nirn.

Yeah and the each end of the spoke represents the duality or dual essence of each aedra
You guys should do a lorecast discussion on Pelinal Whitestrake. The crazy elf killing machine from the future.

Tonal architecture and the Thu'um may not be exactly the same but they obviously have similarities
... every time I hear 'Prime Simian' I think 'Optimus Primal'.
a post about the redguard allegedly being from an alternate time line would be cool.
Great stuff, thanks!
Any plans on a Lorecast about Dagoth-Ur in the future?
I would certainly be down to do one at some point.
Joe Mazzola It would only be fair, I mean the Tribunal got 3 Lorecasts...
Add air to your Wheel.
Man, I really thought my internets were going to behave today but I'm lagging like butts in this video :(
