Salaries should go up 2X for everyone plus get rid of the rookie salary restriction plus $5M/year for CC. That would be fair at this point. And 15 players per team.

Dang a lot of trolls here in the comments today. Thanks for the very informative conversation, I really hope the salary cap can be more flexible to allow for family planning and there are standards in place for what facilities are provided to players from the owners. Also, I just learned today that Terri's son is a star NBA player!

I loved this conversation. I learned so much.
I would make a suggestion that the communication of the player’s union become more professional. They way things are communicated now, turns off the new fans. The content creators make up their own narratives because things aren’t explained well and presented with humility. If people heard these reasons, they would understand why the renegotiations are necessary. Instead we hear phrases, “We’re out, we demand our rightful value”. Those type of statements aren’t classy. Anyhow, it’s a suggestion that may help grow the fans base and decrease the vitriol. Best of wishes with the negotiations.

@@wisethabrain1100Humility goes further than arrogance. Not everyone will get that. They will get a better contract, I do think they deserve it, but you can negotiate and communicate professionally and without arrogance.
Also, they will be earning their money and well rewarded. Can refer to them as homeless and on welfare anymore. The players deserve our respect, and they have the right to ask for what they want.

I won't believe both sides until they start negotiating for better refereeing, addressing physicality, player's addressing non basketball issues on social media, media training before/after games, changing the distasteful tunnel fashion and most of all playing at a professional skill level. No raises until they change these issues.

Also starts with removing this clown on right side of the screen... remember, she wrote the open letter calling out Christine Brennan....Clown show. The entire league needs new leadership from top down. The NBA owners are starting to demand accountability...finally.

Bro, they start talking about rookie contracts at 10:30. Is CC not a rookie to you? You should try to open your ears before you open your mouth. CC is not this innocent little being that deserves to be coddled 24/7. She's a strong and confident woman. Some of y'all gotta stop coddling her fr, she's a 22 year old woman bro.

FIRE ALL THE PLAYERS THAT OPTS OUT! Easy. Pay Caitlin what ever she wants, and just have open tryouts. Guarantee it will still make the same money since everybody just wants to watch Clark anyways. This finally solves all the things we hate about the WNBA. Please make it happen.
