Jesus did not have to do anything to prove that he was god. Jesus said in the word of god my father and I are one. All the miracles that he performed were for the benefit of the people. Even when he died on the cross it was for our benefit and he rose from the dead. Jesus did not do the miracles that he did to prove who he was. When john baptized jesus in the river Jordan the spirit of god in the form of a dove spoke and declared who he was. Even if he came to earth lived his life and died he would have still been god
I am not sure that I will explain this well, but I will try.... Even if Jesus didn't perform the miracles that He performed, He was, and still is, God. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. He is who He is. He was in the beginning with our Heavenly Father, then He came to Earth to die to be our Saviour. So, even though He loves us and works in our lives, He doesn't have to do those things in order to prove to us that He is who He said He is. He is part of the Holy Trinity, no matter what anyone says or doesn't say. I hope that helps and doesn't confuse you.
