This single mum got her boiler repressurised and the heating back on, no plumber call out! Thank you so much! Explains job clearly, concisely and safely.
The F (22) problem with the boiler in cold freezing February fixed by a generous man who bothered to upload a video about it. Thank you so much, bless you 🙏
Thank you so much for this video. My boiler acted up and this video solved the issue in just a few minutes. Saved me tons of worry, not to mention a possible (expensive) visit from a plumber.. on a friday afternoon. Much appreciated, Tony.
Thank you. I use your video as a reminder when the pressure drops! Happened today, and as I live alone, and I'm an 'oldie,' I always worry. I normally remember what I have to do, but it's always good to check. However, although I did get my hot water up and running, the valve on the right, which I usually turn on first, hardly moved at all. I am the only person who fixes my boiler, and I don't really have the strength to turn it off that tight! Anyway, I opened the other valve easily, and heard the water gush in, and saw the pressure going up. Turned the tap on, and there was hot water. Miracle! Obviously turned the left hand valve off, but the other valve, there was hardly any movement. I hope you get to see this comment, and will kindly answer. Thanking you.
Very simply explained and helpful. I literally found this video within 1 minute of facing the f.22 error issue and my boiler was back up and running within the next 3mins. Thanks so much for the knowledge share, this has saved us at least £50 in a plumber call out charge. Bless you 🙏 ♥️
Hi Tony. Please can I add myself to the long list of people who are grateful for you so kindly posting this easy to understand video. Like many others, I now have working heating 5 minutes after watching it. Thank you. 😊😊😊
I have a Vaillant Ecotec Plus 824 and was faced with the F22 error. I was worried because this error prevented the boiler from heating hot taps as well as central heating. I understood the filling loop is just for central heating but I just wanted the hot tap. I didn't understand how the filling loop would let the hot water taps work. Nevertheless, I followed the instructions in this video and the boiler kicked back into action, including the hot taps. I guess it's just how the boiler operates. Thank you so much for this video. I've been at work all day and was desperate for a shower at 1am!
No heating or water this morning in a new house. Google brought me straight here. Fantastic video with clear explanation and the problem is fixed. Thanks Tony
Christmas morning in rented holiday accommodation, woke up to no hot water and no heating. Googled the fault code, found your video and was able to repressurise the boiler. Excellent, very clear and helpful. Thank you
I have fixed mine just now. Thank you soo for uploading such a helpful video. I moved from Norway a year ago. I had never used this type thing in my whole life in Norway. This is very new to me. I am so glad that I fixed on my own. Thanks again.
That’s was so easy thank you so much for the help. Just moved in our new home and tonight is first night of staying at our new home. Not sure what I would have done as the house was freezing cold and you have save me money and time.
What an amazing video! I now know what the plumber needs to do when he comes. Unfortunately the filling loop valves are so tight I can’t move them myself so I’ve still had to call a plumber out. At least I know how to do it on my own for next time!
Tony! You are a star! We had F.22 error going on all day. My wife called the housing association in the morning and the b******s said that from the 30th of March lack of hot water or heating is not considered "an emergency". After watching your video I fixed the boiler myself! Now let's hope the boiler won't blow up at night 🤣
Came back from holiday to a boiler that wasn't working after turning it back on. This fix is SO simple, thank you so much! I am a complete novice on this sort of thing, and I feel so much better for having had this help.
Thank you so much for this. It has saved me needing to contact my letting agent and landlord to get someone out. I was able to follow and find out what I needed to do. Very much appreciated.
Thank you very much for this video. I just try it now and it worked for me otherwise my children wouldn't have been able to take their bath before going to school in the morning thanks a lot. 🙏
Thanks so much for this advice! My brother has some rental properties in London I manage. Advanced Heating & Plumbing will be added to our contractor list.
Absolutely great...got my problem resolved... What would be beneficial is a little background on why this happens ? Is it more frequent in some types of boilers ? What should be done to avoid this from happening would also help... Thank you so much
You've helped me out twice this week, Tony...with an F25 and then an F22. Second time was after a visit from a Vaillant engineer who was supposed to have fixed it. I suspect he didn't hang around long enough to check he'd fully pressurised the system. Hope I'm right! Thanks again.
Had an issue with my such boiler where the circuit board was replaced after we reported there being no hot water or heating, only for half a day later of hot water/heating being back to end up with this F22 code. I suspected there was something off with the 10 minute job the plumber/engineer guy did.
Our boiler looks the same but I don't see any dials underneath it, we also have a immersion heater upstairs and when we had this low pressure problem in the past an engineer from the boiler company installed a similar dials but instead of what you had in this video ours is a screw kind of dials. I have fixed this problem in the past many times but this time it's not doing anything when I allow water into the tank/boiler to get the pressure up. Any ideas why it's not working this time?
RUclips doesn't show dislikes anymore so comments are where people need to check... can confirm this is legit and works fixed my boiler in 30 seconds after watching this
Fab guidance, my pressure was really really low, im a woman lives on my own so i so much was grateful for that, my heating was actually off as a result & following this i got it back on again: the only thing i had a bit of a problem with was u didn't actually say what number the pressure should be on: i was happy it came on never the less, if any 1 has any idea what the pressure should be on please let me know, many thanks 😊

Same girl same!!!! ❤🎉

Thank you so much for your clear explanation. You save us from cold weather.
Fantastic! Saved me what could have been weeks of cajoling my landlord into sending someone with a 3 minute video
Thanks so much for this advice! My brother has some rental properties in London I manage. Advanced Heating & Plumbing will be added to our contractor list.

Thank you, no plumber callout required now. Simple when you know how!
Very helpful! I was without hot water or heater for about an hour until I find this video that helped me fixing the problem ❤
the problem is mine hasn't got the valves, i can't identify which ones to turn......
Same here
Same here as well
You have 2 tubes that connect, the tube that connect means it’s a loop
They do, they’re just located somewhere else under the boiler… I just fixed mine…
Thank you, fixed my boiler in less than 60 seconds, brilliant stuff.
Legendary! Hot water back in 15 minutes and no need to call anyone out!

What would be beneficial is a little background on why this happens ?
Is it more frequent in some types of boilers ?
What should be done to avoid this from happening would also help...
Thank you so much
Thank you so much! Great to have a fix for free and no dodgy "I've fixed it " call out. If I need a plumber or heating engineer, I'll remember you.

I have a newer model and i dont have a valve but a kind of a plastic screw. Once i unscrewed it, the pressure started to rise.
