By now Black Americans know all the statistics that are out there, now where are the solutions that are offered for Black Americans to take back their communities? I have driven my car through many "communities" here in Philly. Every where that was once a "Black Community" has been taken over by Latinos, Chinese, and Indians. Black Americans need for waking up is to take back their communities.

Black American man's role/ job is to "protect and provide", Black American males you aren't providing and protecting if you won't acknowledge that you are not doing your part. Sitting outside a beer deli is not providing, standing on a corner with your " friends" is not providing, making excuses for why you are receiving a handout from the government is not providing. How are you "protecting your family/ children if you are not there ( mentally and well as physically). Black American males stop seeing yourselves as "victims ", stop convincing yourselves that you are being"held back" because when you look " back", you are the only one there. There was a successful "event" that made history in this country called the "Million Man March" ( the March was so successful, many tried to duplicate it but none was as successful). There were many "males who showed up, but they didn't receive the message of taking back their community. Some showed up just to say they were there, and left with the same mindset they had when they arrived. Black American"males" realize that instead of your numbers getting smaller, your numbers are growing with each generation. The same effort you put on yourself to get up and stand on a street corner with your "friends" grab a broom and clean that corner. The next time you find yourself in a "beer deli" inform the owner how his business is helping in the " destruction " of your community, but inform him/ her/ other in a way that you and your " friends" will no longer be spending your money with them because of their destruction of your community. Maybe you've never been told, but any job is better than not having a job. Hell you are out standing around any way, accept the role / title of a "street cleaner" at least you're being paid for it. A "man" walks with his head up, ready to take on the challenges coming his way, " males" walk around with their heads down, looking for loose change, handouts, and other people to blame.
As a Black American female, I personally am tired of making excuses for you because I don't have real explanations for why you're not doing your job/ role. I'm tired of seeing you do nothing for yourselves, your families and your communities. Because unlike you, many Black American females don't blame others for you being afraid to step into a man's role, we are more disgusted because you won't do it. We ( Black American females) are tired of carrying you, but we will do what we have to do, and believe me there are and will always be some mistakes that will be made, but the difference between us and you, WE TRIED.

As a black man born and raised in Detroit, MI, I can say with complete confidence that all that she has said in this video is of no surprise to me! Slavery never ended in America. It just evolved with the changing times!

To think that lawyers from Harvard Princeton Yale MIT Stanford as well as other universities came up with policies like this. They’re now sitting on the Supreme Court bench🤔. Just like the jail, she mentioned in the rule areas, these lawyers have had jobs stability since the beginning of this so-called war on drugs.

@@troybutler426 yeah but Black Americans today don't have to patronize/ support anybody financially. I and many others in my once was Black American community decided " convience stores" aren't in our best interest. Drugs dealers are always hanging out in the front of the stores, along with the people who are buying the drugs. My personal experience is the owner of the stores aren't cleaning the front of their stores, too be lazy they're sweeping some of the trash in the sewers causing flooding when it rains. The stores are eye sores, and now they're selling cooked food, which smells an awful lot. My biggest problem and concern is the full of them to serve you behind Plexiglass. If you are that afraid then why are you in the Black Community, because after all the community became horribly dangerous once the stores moved in. Even though there is a law in Philly barring Chinese Restaurants and "Poppy" stores from having Plexiglass. Again if the store owners are that afraid, move out the neighborhoods.

Twenty years in Afghanistan the major source of opuim and not one king pin was arrested. Not one drug trafficker was arrested and brought to the U.S. like the so called terrorist.
The problem is Black people especially the educated ones who are so eager to prove themselves to the dominant society missed the most important part of American history.
That is when this country was founded the first federal crime was the fugitive slave act.
It is not the New Jim Crow. It is resurrection of the Fugitive Slave act we are dealing with.
The fugitive slave act crimimalized the self determination of Black people.
It normalized the relationship between crime and being Black like it normalized the relationship of sovereignty and beibg White.
We know that the history of crime came out of Europe not Africa.
Any crime committed by Black people can be traced back to early Europe between the 13th century on. The highest crime was in the urban areas. Pic pocketing, stealing, kidnapping, murder and gang violence can all be traced to early Europe and it repeated itself in the United States because they used European cities as modelled for US cities.
The difference was they were able to create suburbs to relocate White people knowing the end result of their iurbanization.
It is like the result of a White Nationalist Christian country is a punitive form of religion no different then it was in Europe for over a 1,000 years.
They already knew that urban areas breed crime because of the congestion of people and lack of resources.
In the world of capitalism this became a new source of employment for the White unemployed. The urban areas are like farm with fruit or vegatables to be picked or a stocked bass lake waiting for the sports fishermen. It is socio engineering using scientific racism.

Now if I know that there are other groups of people who are treated differently from myself and when they and I commit the exact same crime, why would I give them a reason, . If I know my crime would bring out the sheriff, swat, FBI, CIA, sniffing dogs etc... where the other group wouldn't, why would I give them the reason. If i know my police chase is going to end badly, why would I give them a reason. If corner stores owned by other groups can and do sell drugs , why would I give them a reason?. We are the only community who allow others to come it with their drugs, guns, and bad businesses. We are the only group of people who tolerates/ put up with the same businesses we patronize to disrespect us, our families and our communities. We don't set conditions for them being there, there are no curfews set, hell we won't even speak out on what those businesses can and cannot sell , ( toy guns that look real, vapes and cigarettes to minors, condoms to minors etc .. ) There are areas here in Philly, where I have seen over and over again where there were at least 20-25 males and females standing around drinking, and talking, but yet I see trash all over and no one thought enough about themselves or their community to pick up the trash. Because of my fake felony in Memphis I went to welding school and changed the narrative since certain types of jobs weren't checking for certain things, all you had to do was be a good welder. That was a good choice for me

Really? At know time did she speak on / about how others are taking or have taken over the Black American communities . The drugs didn't walk in, the guns didn't walk in, the people ( others) bring them in.
Another reason why incarceration rates remain high while crime rates decrease is because of the For-Profit Prison System. To my understanding there is an occupancy quota. The police may be incentivized to feed the prisons, even if they have to violate rights to achieve the goal. Black men have been marked as the sacrificial lamb.

After living around black people for 60 years and growing some good friendships and dependable friends, i can tell you this. Stupid, average or smart, they all are 100% sure about 3 things: They believe they are FREE, they have INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, and Voting Democrat WORKS. But if you ask them "How are you free? They will tell you that they dont feel FREE. If you ask them "So what are your Indiviual Rights?" You just get some stares or general guessing because they dont know them. And if you ask them "What democrat policies or laws made you Free and protected your Individual Rights? Just more stares and guesses. They will never ever ask or say, "HEY, WHAT ARE MY INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS? WHY DONT I FEEL FREE?" The highly educated will recant what they were taught, but never have an original thought or answer. And they will never say, "Gee, I dont know what my individual rights are, let me research that". (Admiting you dont know something makes your mind Free to learn the truth).

No wonder I have a PACER Account. The System sucks so bad that I don't use the Veterans Administration or the VA Hospital. I did everything in my power to lock the VA out of my Medical File. Why The Republicans are going to gut HUD and allow housing discrimination. They’re going to gut the civil rights department so that it’s difficult for people of color to sue for racial discrimination and they’re going to allow white folks sue if a person of color gets a job over them. They’re going to make it even tougher to prosecute police officers. That’s just a few things that they’re trying to do. While we should have major issues with the Democrats, they aren’t trying to do any of those things.
