How To Fix Hard To Open Shipping Container Doors

Used containers doors need to be periodically maintained in order to open and close properly. Because the doors have been open & closed many times while moving cargo overseas, its best to lubricate the hinges and access points.
In this video, we show you what a lot of customers use to periodically lubricate the locking bar brackets, cams, door hinges and bar guides to help the doors open and close easier.
Finally, keep in mind that the container needs to be on level ground for the doors to open and close properly. If the above maintenance doesn't work, check your ground to ensure it is level by putting a measuring device on the bottom container rail. If there is a level issue, do some research online about how to safely level a container.
