Awwww every year my heart breaks for Wayzata. I'd love to see both them and Hopkins at state :( Sucks they have to face off with each other to make it there. Both very deserving teams.

Wayzata’s coach should’ve subbed out #21 more. She was a huge liability in this game. She was gassed, gave up on defense, didn’t fight through screens, didn’t get open on in-bound plays, etc.
Hopkins has one mega star in Paige Bueckers, but Wayzata has three D1 level players: Johnston, Braun, & Stewart. I've watched this game several times and Paige Bueckers uses her team to her school's best advantage. That said, Waysata played well & the game would have been much, much closer if Stewart hadn't suffered a concussion when she wacked her skull on the hardwood floor. Moreover, looking back with 20/20 hindsight, Paige Bueckers made 1st team All-America in her Freshman Year at UConn and Myra Braun is just a high school freshman in this game. Still three, D1 bound stars lost to one Super Star & her team. That fact made me dig deeper. Taylor Woodson is a good player with D1 potential and Hopkins' center, Maya Nagi, is also D1 quality. So, maybe Bueckers gets more out of her team than Braun Or, maybe that wack on the head Stewart suffered in her struggle with Chikpoltis hurt her & her team. How a team with three clear stars could lose to the Royals is what sports is all about: luck, quality teammates and team synergy.
Can you tell me where i can see the game of Hopkins vs wayzata , where Hopkins plays with the Blue uniform oh his court. They showed the visual when the talked about Paige.
Aundraya Randolph There’s 2 I think Taylor Woodson (#32) and Nunu Agara (#3) But they are both really good especially in this current 2019-2020 season as freshmen

You’re correct, but in general even without Paige, the team is great!
Hopkins also has other great players, Nnaji is a D1 college basketball player and Hopkins’ point guard is really good at defense and dribbling
