The cool thing about Buekers is she keeps her head and doesn’t seem to lose her temper. Once you lose your head and get mad your game is affected. So excited to see her play for Ucon

@@grovermarchand5537 Yeah, they are going to be stacked for the foreseeable future, like not lose a game over the 4 years good! They ONLY lose Dangerfield, while adding #1 Bueckers, #21McClean, #26Edwards, Gabriel, #1 Int. Muhl, and Westbrook becomes eligible. In 2021 they also add #5 DeBerry #17 Poffenbarger and many think UConn is where 2021 #1 Azzi Fudd will go. Then in 2022 they add #3 Brady.

Paige and Mara are such a good match up for each other when playing, they both play tough defense and offense, as well as strategic defense and offense. They both also do a really good job a keeping their cool when going against girls that’ll just fouls them because they can’t match their level.

She's got a great shot and soft touch but she makes it too easy to defend her. Second half she stopped moving. She doesn't break either hi or low when it was there for her to take. Especially after that 4th foul on the Hopkins big.
I see a lot of fouls on Hopkins that are not being called but Wayzata is getting called for the same type of plays on their end of the floor. This has happened in every Wayzata/ Hopkins game that I have watched.
I'm not for either team, but I'm a University of Kentucky fan and it was clearly a home court advantage game. Looks like it was played in Hopkins gym.

@@thisisforspam7454 yeah it’s the section final too. Most section finals in MN are played at a college or somewhere neutral. Hopkins would’ve won either way but I don’t get why it’s at Hopkins every year.

@@ale-rm7fn false. Most section championship games are played at a neutral place like another school or a college gym. Their section is the only section where it’s played at the high seeds gym. Kinda dumb but it’s not a big deal.

We have been very fortunate to have seen many hi-caliber athletes over the years in our coverage areas. The amount of interest that Paige has brought to girls prep basketball both locally and nationally has been very unique.

How many D1 girls were on this court at the same time? I'm thinking at least seven: Braun, Stewart, Bueckers, Nnaji, Woodson, Adams, Battle, but I know there were more. You could have taken the starting 10 girls, bussed them to UConn & they'd have won a National Championship. Myra Braun & Paige Bueckers in the backcourt and Woodson, Stewart, and Nnaji in the forecourt. Any D1 coach would start Bueckers, Braun, Stewart, Nnaji & Woodson. That's a final four starting lineup. Right? C'mon, guys. Who'd I miss? The final point is that I didn't miss the amount of talent on the floor. The proof is how a sophomore named Myra Braun played against a future, first team, All-America named Paige Bueckers. Also, y'all saw Stewart & Nnai shoot.
Hopkins and Wayzata are my two favorite Basketball teams in Minnesota.

Lydss yeah I feel they should change that and get them ready for the next level. Just want the day of games to be more exciting rather than hold the ball for a few minutes. I’m in California and all high school levels have a shot clock. Only junior high school still doesn’t.

I liked the energy from both teams though out the game I felt like it was more energy on defense from both teams than offense there was great offense but there was some really good defense plays so it planned out to be a great game 🏀

I GET that they pronounce it that way! Not the point! My question remains, how did they stray from what was probably the original pronunciation, (How it's actually spelled) into how they say it now? For example, I'm just as curious how the SD city Pierre (Which is clearly a French name, pronounced Pee AIR) became pronounced PEERY? Simple curiosity. In other words, if you have no insight to the answer to my question, don't bother responding. As someone that just like watching a good game, I saw a lot of "no calls" for Hopkins and a number of touch fouls for Wayzata. Hopkins almost had to mug a player to get a foul called. Great game though.
