I won't call them pointless. I watch lectures + annotate on pdfs. I don't have a laptop, plus having a dedicated device just for lectures and practicing questions +diagrams is just so worth it.

Yes, an iPad is 100 percent worth it so is any other tablet. It’s a second screen and light and portable and you can write on lectures and they have long a long battery life. I do everything on my iPad. I’m not a Mac fan in general though, everything else I own is android or pc.

Yup, I’m a massive note taker, and have used my iPad daily for the past 4+ years, so yh it’s definitely worth it to me. But yh I guess if you’re a typing person then there probably is no need for you to purchase an iPad over a laptop, or even both

Thank you for this video! I’ve been wanting an ipad for years now but i will not be getting it. I usually type my notes for my classes and just review those however, i discovered active recall and will be switching up my study technique for this upcoming semester. With taking notes, i would spend days making them and only look at them once, maybe twice if i have time. An ipad would be useless for me since i already dont write my notes
