Hicks needs to get a shot at closer. He has the stuff and fatigue will be less of a thing only having to go 1 every other night or so. If that doesn’t work try Walker.

Pretty embarrassing since Roupp is the dude being called up.
I not only fail to understand how the Giants have tolerated Doval's failures for so long yet went with the nuclear option by sending him down when really the only major problem is Doval just can't throw strikes. That said if Doval has been a diva when he has not been pitching like one, I can understand it to a point, given that I am not there and don't know Doval.

The fact that Doval doesn't/wont speak English is a huge part of the problem. It shows that there is no unity in the clubhouse when a significant amount of the team can not communicate with their closer!!! We need as a part of the contracts a stipulation that ALL PLAYERS LEARN ENGLISH. That way, they can communicate in detail, both with their teammates, AND with the press.

@@user-ti3hd8gw2m Just who is it 'racist' against? Mr. Lee who is from Korea? Ohtani from Japan? English is the spoken language in THIS country, all of our laws are written in English. The Atlanta Braves stipulate that all foreign players learn English, so they can better communicate with their teammates, and acclimate to this country.
