Thanks yes it is great .
That’s a great looking FMS bird, it’s definitely worth a look. My first plane finally arrived this week it’s an Apprentice 1.5 from Horizon and I hope to be able to fly as well as you some day. I truly enjoy the video’s and watch a few others as well, Brian Phillips “Willie Mays of the RC world” and RC Saylors but I prefer to watch you.
Congrats on your Apprentice 1.5 here is a video to help you with it: ruclips.net/video/6druYIU7aPw/видео.html
And very kind comparing my to Brian, Nate and Abby. I do not know their background but I had one lesson almost 30 years ago , other than that I am completely self taught so I try to relate to my viewers from that kind of self taught perspective.
I love the lights on the Apprentice in your video, is that an add on kit or something you done on your on?
I have the Umx pitts , love it , have the 800 pitts don’t love it , have the 1400 waiting to maiden , hope I love it
I had the original umx Pitts and enjoyed it. And I agree it does well in the wind despite it's size. The big one is an easy flyer just try to land it as flat as possible.
the e flite 850 pitts ? , CG=around 85 mm NOT 70 , make a new tray for the lipopack further backwards.
I have the UMX version of this but I’m scared shitless about flying in the wind. My biggest plane is 1400 mm wingspan and their cubs high wing planes. Any Tips for flying in the wind
The Umx Pitts will handle a good amount of wind
With wind fly into it and land into it until you get good at crosswind landings. Make sure it is a plane you are very confident with and you can actually learn to have a lot of fun with the wind just depending on severity and direction. I always recommend bush planes for wind since landing direction is not an issue.
