18:07 this shows how well this jet is after all!
After shut down it’s not just plumbing down but gliding!
It’s truly amazing how nice this model flies! Both Rene and I are super proud of our work!
You left no stone unturned. Love all the fine details, thrust vectoring, landing gear, adjustable battery for CG and proper ESC ventilation!! You are an amazing designer, but also lucky to own that many 3D printers.
The details are what Rene and I concentrate on. We spend many combined hours working through the finer points and I then edit and model the entire jet and parts in SolidWorks. Then Rene and I do test prints and Rene test flies and pilots the aircraft we develop. Lots of hard work and preparation here 😉
Seeing someone build a functional RC aircraft from dream to reality is inspiring. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! We hope to! As long as there is a demand for our work, Rene and I will continue to innovate and improve😉
JRM looks like Su 57 felon .all your works inspires me
The fact it glided in very well despite the unexpected loss of power and control is a good sign in itself.
Wow, I need to put down the balsa and get with the times!
I lol'd at "I forgot the 3rd dimension, up"
Learn a new tech but enjoy the skills required for both and the differences they bring 😉 Thanks for your interest!
You are conisdered a deity amongst the flying insects. BRILLIANT engineering.
Rene and I are honoured to receive this accolade ! 😂😂😂
It's amazing how well you have designed and built these.
Thank you! It has been many long hours (overtime and away from family) but we have enjoyed the process and your reactions help make this all worthwhile! Thanks for your support!
Wonderful job!
It is always good to have a separate battery for the receiver on a large electric setup (the controller could burn - they like it...).
Since the aircraft fly perfectly without the battery, I guess that you can mount it much more rearwards.
Totally awesome work Renè
I've had rougher landings than that when I was trying lol beautiful design wonderful

Su-57S launching Kh-69 at Trypilska TPP, 2024 (colorized)
On a more serious note, it's very impressive to be able to carry 3 scale cruise missiles. Do you plan to Incorporate internal bays in the future? Akin to what 5th Generation jets use irl.
Hi René, it's amazing how it recovered itself and just landed upside down. That shows how tough it really is. It fixes up really well.
Thanks 👍💪✌
We were truly surprised to see this behavior. The beauty of such a large lifting body air frame. Both Rene and i are super proud of this design!
@@marcphilippveenendaal4394 you two have made a super plane, huge payload and stable, super work you guys!
@@rjung_ch thanks 🙏🏻
I think that prototype deserves a victory mark after surviving it's crash, maybe an ant? LOL
Absolutely crazy! Well done!!
burschen - ihr seid ein wahnsinn - sauber und ordentliche arbeit ...
Wonderful, thank you for sharing!
A lot of that damage looked like it’d be perfect candidate for the old Baking Soda & CA Glue repair method!
Amazing work! Beautiful Jet and mini drop ship!
I thought it would be broken up worse from the crash but she held together impressively!
Yes. We were also impressed! We are super happy with the design and construction!
Incredible work!! Now you must start designing anti air systems to counter the threat you have created 😂
That would be awesome!!!
Absolutely amazing!!!
Cheers! Rene and I thank you for your support!
Ja bist du narrisch. Geile Bastelbude. Platz ohne ende ❤
Sehr gut, vielen Dank! Die Drucker laufen schon an….😊
Na super! Wir freuen uns auf deine Aussage!
This is amazing! I’ll have to save up for a bit but I’m going to get the plans for both the jet and the mini cruise
Nice! Once you manage to reach your savings goal, we hope the build and process as well as flying the JRM-C70 is as enjoyable as it was to design and detail and fly!
very very creative
Man, this is insanely cool.
Rene and I both agree!
very nice job !!...also how it crashed....upside down sailing down, amazing !!...other planes would be reduced to rubbish !!
We were very surprised at how the JRM recovered!
すごい!カッコイイ!!
いつか、こんなの作れるようになりたい。
Fantastic work, one of the best RC plane builds I've seen 🎉🎉🎉
That is great news for us! Thank you for your interest and support! Rene and I truly appreciate the feedback!
wow that looks fun 😆 great project, thanks for sharing
You continue to inspire me, sir. Thank you!! Excellent designs!
Glad we can do that! We will continue to try and inspire as long as there is interest in our work
Hello! I love the videos! I'm not sure if you notice (or care), but the little strings that seem to trail off the print (not stringing, but the larger noodles of material at the part edges) are due to moisture absorption in the filament. Any cheap filament dryer would help remove those! Drying might help interlayer adhesion and would remove some post processing from the prints! Best of luck!
Not realy the filament he is yousing fomes when getting hot its normal that those Things are there
We use foaming LWPLA filament. At higher temperature, it actively foams to create strong but lightweight prints. As the printer head travels between 2 points, the retraction cannot pull the foaming PLA back fast enough so it oozes and deposits as small stringing artefacts. These are easily brushed off or lightly sanded and pose no real surface finish issues.
outstanding state of the art airplane. Thank you for sharing
Glad you like it! We pride ourselves on the design of new and interesting air frames and not just copying aircraft that already exist. Rene and I love the challenge of something different!
Amazing, great work once again.
Thanks for your interest and support
An awesome set up 😎
Super slick!
besonders cool !! vielen dank
Gern geschehen! Rene und Ich bedanken uns
So when's Lockheed Martin going to ask you for permission to make this a real jet?
Yes, both Rene and I are waiting patiently 😉

Incredible. That's way too cool
The dream LEGO of everyone boy 😅
It’s just an amazing work!
I have several questions:
1) Is it your own design of the plane, or you inspired by real plane? (I guess, Su-57)
2) Do you have other “weapons” which are possible to attach to the plane?
3) What the future of this great plane?
I’m so excited bcz I wait answers from talented people who created this masterpiece ❤
Very cool! 👏👏
gut das der pilot überlebt hat ...
So much effort and worth to watch every second ! Wish you Best !
PS: İt is time to put some sensors right now. Like G sensors, pitot tube and etc. To how much does the beast can handle ?
Great success!
I Like! (blatant BORAT reference) 😂
Marvelous❤😊
Battery drop tanks would be cool
Hahaha, just leave the rear battery restraint clip off and do a negative G loop. You’ll have a deployed “drop battery” in no time 😂😂😂
Super Teil! Wie wäre es mit einem Kamera-Behälter wie zum Beispiel der "LITENING II" für FPV Aufnahmen?
Insane
Excellent! :)
Cheers!
Can it do the kvochur bell maneuver like the SU-57 Felon in Top Gun Maverick???
I mean the Goal is to make most of the airframe 3D printed, but for the landing gear i would just use cut down carbon fiber rods.
As you can see the grass strip these jets take off from are super rough. The simple printed but rigid undercarriage allows for lightweight but super sturdy and easy assembly with no fiddly junctions and joiner pieces that would be required with carbon rods. Rene and I have discussed numerous designs and decided on this as the most practical and inexpensive.
Things should be as made simple as possible, but not simpler.
If they managed to get this ladning gear to work reliably, without adding extra complexity - this is great. Additionally, adding extra reinforcemend to the leg itself might have an unintended consequence of pushing the failure upward - you land hard (or crash), your carbon landing leg holds, but pushes the stress to the landing gear-fuselage join, which breaks. Now, instead of a simple landing gear one-part reprint and replacement, you have a complex fuselage repair to do.
@@adamtrzaskowski3901 awesome understanding of the process and forces and secondary effects!
The SU-57 but even better
Have you thought about flying the jet with VR HMD?
Imagine two 1000w prop outrunner. Always surprised what edfs draw on power 😂
Amazing that was all that happened from that dead stick crash! I do think however the section of the aircrafts elevator damage may come back to haunt you if the section that was damaged provides structural support for the elevator. Sudden hard elevator use would be what tells how strong that glue is. The thrust vectoring helps reduce that stress a lot. How much throttle did you use on take off with and without the microcruisers?
Did you spot the carbon strips used to reinforce the damaged airframe...helps a lot with re-introducing rigidity to the structure.
Need fpv cam on cruiser. 😊
I wonder what if you make a modification by adding a different types of winglets and make a comparison in performance.
Our jets models have different winglet options. The C50 series offers a few different designs and our C70 has our preferred winglet designs.
I want to see him and RamyRC collaborate on something
That would be super fun! We will have to put out the feelers 😉
Incredible! What would you estimate the total cost of the 70mm JRM-01 would be?
Fantastic work. Any thoughts on making sub sections of the airframe detachable / bolted together so that when there is major damage a new part could be swapped out without cutting in the slicer?
We have discussed that in the past and are still trying to establish a practical and lightweight approach to that. Definitely been on our radar for some time!
Joining sections together with a snug sliding dovetail and then locking them with perpendicular beefy carbon tubes that run the length of the fuselage seems like an intuitive solution. Then when you need to replace a section slide out the tube(s) change the section secure the tubes back and your airborne again. I am tinkering with this idea for an upcoming build. @@marcphilippveenendaal4394
@@andrewklug4845 the dovetail approach is a cool solution but any additional structures and surfaces add to overall part weight. At dovetail junctions you end up with double the surface area and associated weight increase. The process is a function of evaluating practicality vs weight and performance benefits. We continue to explore alternative and innovative assembly approaches.
Amazing! But jets are inherently unstable?
I LOVE your Micro Cruiser
but it is a bit expensive :(
It’s pretty cheap if you calculate the time that went into designing it
@@Felix-no7nx Absolutely! it takes a lot of time to design and develop these aircraft. Rene and I spend many hours outside of work detailing and developing these.
Is it capable of hovering 😊😅
Just asking
Its like a Mig-29 / f35A hybrid
Call it what you like, but know it as the JRM :)
@@marcphilippveenendaal4394 looks like it could fill in the role ... Currently the philippines is heavily and rapidly investing in R&D to its military , subsequently they wanted a Jet that can do STOL on runways due to the military having an obsession on short island runways .
@@marcphilippveenendaal4394 its basically the Philippines military wants an armed forces with the capabilities of amphibious , rapid reactionary forces on all 1,700 islands within the archipelago. the AIR FORCES and MARINE CORPS of the Philippines are also investing in seaplane /flyingboat designs, as a connector to other islands.
whats the battery life on that EDF folding plane setup?
Excellent ! Est-ce qu'il est possible de l'imprimer sur une Ender3 S1 ?
Yes, it is possible.
Are you looking to experiment with relaxed stability? i.e. moving the CG backward until the aircraft becomes unstable in pitch?
Yes
Hello!
Nice engineering and attention to detail, repairability, and more.
I have two ideas about your plan to shift the CGs fore and aft:
- liquid
- non-liquid
Liquid:
Liquid could require pumps to push a nontoxic but dense fluid in flasks running longitudinally along the inner wals. If there's no room, perhaps they can be added as conformal tanks faking as conformal radar/ECM faces.
Non-liquid:
Reminiscent of when I built model ships as a pre-teen ages ago, you might be able to use bolts or screw shafts that move fore and aft.
Alternatively or additionally, I suspect things could be interesting if there ar also athwartships bolts so you can independently of the flight surfaces bias the CG longitudinally and transversely and diagonally.
Question: How interesting might things be of the weights could be on two planes, maybe 3 inches apart? I suppose one could be on the belly and the other along the spine.
Keep up the nice work!
