They're about to (unfortunately).
the most important point for combat power is how fast and accurate the cannon shoots, how much penetration and range. second is armor and third is speed. and as a overall boost, tech gimmicks like datalink, infrared sight, smoke bombs etc.
nothing listed gives even a hint how the tanks compare, can on tank take out the others with one shoot? from that range? while moving? can he do it every 5 seconds? how about laser defence vs missiles?
the only stuff listed is age, weight and size. like you compare womans^^

Leopard 2 is still an TOP 3 tank, i would say BUT Rheinmetall has inventend an new tank and the german goverment is willing to buy these... Named: Panther KF51, it will be an gamechanger and BY FAR the best tank in the world... Loyering Drones/Rockets, Automatic Defense Turret against rockets etc., Autolader with the first ever unload sequence (that is normally the difficult part and takes a lot of time), 130mm cannon that has 50% more range and power as the 120mm (that most tanks use, including Leopard2), same engine as the Leopard, but lighter (still better armor) and so on...
This thing is a beast and i think it is save to say: Putin has woken the beast, we do not want a war, the germans are still haunted by the past, but we need to protect us and support other countries after the things they have done and still doing in the Ukraine...

The M1A2 factually top performance from past battles. They know how good they are at hitting targets and it's a mobile tank. But then they say it "drinks plenty fuel". I hope you get that. You can Google all this. Leopard tanks easier to maintain.

i was in an atgm unit for 3 years back at lewis, you are very correct about it being a test theatre as well. I did 3 tours in the stan land, and every time i felt it was a glorified proving ground. Russia is simply doing the same with Ukraine.
The Israeli merkava (the one that got 6th place) cannot be hit by even top attack AGTMS due to its APS, oh yeah don't forget the factor that the APS works in HEAT-Fs too and even if HEAT did somehow touch it it still has tonnes of NERA. Idk how it got 6th place when the Russians probably with they had merkavas right now (merkavas are great for urban warfare unlike EVERY OTHER MBT)

The world's most wickedly expensive tank is the Leopard. When equipped with all options, the k2 can be purchased with the highest performance and 2/3 price compared to the leopard, and it is a much more advantageous tank for building an integrated combat system and setting additional equipment, especially in the next generation of combat environments. In this video, the opinion that k2 is the most expensive is a clear error, and of course, the best tank for the price is k2.

Poland has PT-91, which are upgraded T-72 with NATO-compatible equipment (equivalent to T-80 and T-90 or even better), it has Leopard 2, it has ordered the Arbams and K2. We will tell you which is the best after war games.

Armata has some great components, unfortunately the tank isn't working it is a lemon they are going for the T-72 upgrades and a new design based on the T-90 in stead.
I’m not a fan of Russian technology, but to be honest, it’s funny for me to see the Leopard2 in first place, given the many failures of this tank in battle - it lost the war in Syria and without encountering other tanks in Ukraine, it breaks down / is destroyed by an anti-tank mine and a combat drone, even the Swedish strv122(Upgrade Leopard2) was badly damaged with one blow “Kornet” anti-tank missile. I see that based on its qualities and the fact that nothing happened to the South Korean version, K2 black panther deserves first place.

Never been destroyed or even damaged in combat but nobody is even talking about it, one challenger 2 even got attacked by more then 70 rockets yet in the end the insurgents ran out of ammo and the tank was still operational.

It seems K2 outperformed the leopard2 during Norwegian test assessment but does that mean Norway will still choose K2? Afterall Norway has long history of cooperation with German tanks. I heard Germans are lobbying hard. Besides German Panzerhaubitze 2000 losted out to Korean K9 in Norway.

Well the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is way more expensive than the korean counterpart which explains them outbidding Germany. But the Germany Panzerhaubitze 2000 is better as it can shoot the most shells in one minute and it can land in the same Spot. As for tanks. The Leopard 2A7 won the competetition but norway is thinking about getting rid of tanks so they are not sure what to do for now

If I was going to war with a no experience crew and wanted to live, I'd choose Merkeva IV. If the crew was extremely experienced, let's not even play games..you know which tank I would choose to be in, in that case.

this is just outright bias, the T-14 can POSSIBLY outshine the leopard if it already outshines the K-2 but never in production amount, the T-15 IFV also defeats all the IFVs produced by germany but its main problem is the back and there only being 200 T-15s

I’m sorry but the T90 is a T72 with some new optics, don’t be fooled by it, it’s just a rehash from the suspension, to the engine, to the auto loader, everything is the same. Also I still don’t think they implemented the command thermal system even tho the US had them in the abrams back in the damn 90s… I just don’t like people saying it’s a good tank, it shouldn’t be on this list… ask Russia how good its doing in ukraine with no night optics lol

Result 1: Only one has ever been destroyed in combat, when it was hit by friendly fire in Basra during the Iraq war.
Result 2: No Challenger 2 MBTs have ever been destroyed in combat by the enemy
