My friend, when Miss Angelina was a small girl, her Japanese grandfather took her with him into Oslo, to help the homeless community with food and sometimes a job. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up. Later on when he knew he was dyeing, he told her to stay true to herself, and she would never regret it.
Today, to honor her grandfather, she was seen (by chance) in LA, helping the homeless community there. It is my believe, that in LA are now many guardian angels on the streets in form of the homeless veterans, who honor a human being, that respects them.

Angelina wrote "Million Miles" at age 13, in the days after her beloved maternal grandfather passed away. Supposedly, he told Angelina he would be watching her from the moon after dying. This song allowed me to complete my grieving process, after losing 5 loved ones in 3+ years.

She later altered how she sang this in live versions. She slowed it down,at least the first half and the last belt at the end was increased to 12 seconds from verse onset to the end of the belt (one breath) and she used it all.

There is also a music video of this song in which Angelina’s sister Juliette plays a young Angelina and her Uncle Mike plays her grandfather (Mike’s dad). Angelina says that she created the storyboards for the video.

As you can tell, Angelina’s family is very involved in her career. Juliette appears in several of Angelina’s videos, Mike in a couple and Mery has directed or produced several.

Angelina was being accompanied on piano by Rob Christie, the artistic director of the LA branch of her record label, Republic Records. He took on some kind of mentor role for her right from the beginning, and has accompanied her on several occasions. I'll name a few here : On her performance of "Heal The World" by Michael Jackson, on "Easy On Me" by Adele, on "Suspicious Minds", made popular by Elvis, on "All I Ask", also by Adele. ALL absolutely great performances by her (and Rob 🙂) Rob himself is a two time Grammy winner, on addition to multiple nominations.

Saeed, Angelina wrote this in memory of her grandfather whom passed away in November of 2018. Angelina was thirteen years old when she wrote it. Angelina signed with Republic Records in August of 2020. This was her debut single with Republic Records and it was released in November of 2020. She also dedicated her song to everyone that has lost their loved ones.
She wrote a beautiful song. And at that age. Mindblowing. Definitely a song everyone can relate to.
