Legit I’m using some BOSE headphones (around 250-300$) and this song is just insane. Joel’s knowledge of mixing and audio engineering really blows your mind with the crisp clean sounds he’s able to get in his music.
I think this is an oversimplication. You are missing the bass line and other synth add ins. There is a lot of progression, one of my favorite things about Deadmau5 is he appears to be simple but really on a deeper dive you notice its not simple.

Transcendental journey of perfectly laid out progressions with the usual driving, rhythmic beat, in a different dimension to some of his more commercial work. Fortunate enough to be a TestPilot to this absolute masterpiece at his set at Brixton Academy last week. Transcendental journey of perfectly laid out progressions with the usual driving, rhythmic beat, in a different dimension to some of his more commercial work. Although there was no #cubev3 I got to see just Joel perfectly arrange a selection of his finest tunes and melt my mind....
