Honestly I was surprise how little energy this fridge freezer uses. I was expecting the compressor to use 1000W when it first started up but it really didn't at all. My gaming computer running at idle uses more power than this fridge freezer. Now you have put it that way though I am interested to see how much more efficient a new fridge freezer is because I can't imagine it is that significiant... I think I am going to have to find a load that will push the delta pro to it's limit though, everything I have tried so far it has been like "yeah whatever"
Hi if you're having problems connecting to Wi-Fi, I use the hotspot on my phone to connect the Ecoflow Delta Pro to the phones network. I have to also do this when I'm out charging it from an EV charging point, then when you get back home, it will just connect back to the home router, if the signal is stronger.
I have two of these, for anyone that’s interested, a single Delta Pro powers my 3 (almost 4) year old Samsung RB29FSRNDBC Fridge Freezer for well over 4 day’s (311KWh’s p/a). The FF has a digital inverter to help stabilise energy consumption and it’s huge with a total capacity of 321 litre’s, 213l for the fridge and 108l for the freezer.
That is really impressive, as a result of this video and some research I decided to update to a newer fridge freezer so I may have to do the test again although I think I'll have similar results to you with a delta pro running for about 2 days
Can one delta pro run a full size fridge and two full size freezers at the same time? All three are only 120w each. So that’s 360 watts total except for surge start up. Idk how the delta pro wattages work as far as providing power to appliances. I’d also have a 400 watt ecoflow solar panel hooked up to charge the delta pro while it powers the fridge and freezers.
@@americandude3825 It will run all three no problem, put it in xboost mode when you start them. I’ve had my fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer on one with no issues
Thanks for the excellent demonstration. I have a smaller version the ecoflow river pro which has 720 W capacity. I wonder if and how long I could run a fridge freezer like yours ?
I think it should be able to power it looking at the specs, and my guess would be somewhere around 4-6 hours. Feel free to give it a try for yourself, would love to know myelf :)
In fort myers here we had this hurricane if you didn't hear but we lost electric for 4 days...but running just a fridge freezer you just need 2 hours of running time I believe to cover food in there for 6 hours so a programmable generator would be great and with this being the sunshine state we can use panels to charge it with 400w panels costing about $1000 you'd probably be able to nurse 4 days of on charge and on off generatoring
That is really useful to know, power outages don't happen often and thankfully I have not experienced it for more than a couple of hours. I think given where you like it is very likely that you could run your fridge freezer all that time with a 400w panel. Probably some other devices as well. Also for less than $1000 you could get a lot more than 400w second hand if you didn't need them to be portable. I have over 2000w array for a little over half of that
@@MattWells0 they'd have to be portable here, the state won't let you generate solar power to sell over and above cos that would compete with the electric companies who make po.itical contributions to stop the sunshine statefrom actually using the sun..my gated community wouldn't allow roof panels even though they allow roof water warmers for the pools, apparently one is fine and the other ugly...which as they are both dark colored panels is BS.

I can tell you that you do not need to use the official Ecoflow solar panels and the Detla Pro does come with a connector for the standard solar panel connector, which are called MC4. Just some rough maths based on the charge of the Ecoflow Delta Pro and it's battery capacity being 3600Wh. There will be some losses in the inverter which will be included in this so using mains it will be slightly lower. Fridge Freezer 72 Watts an hour so 630Kwh a year.
