I agree with you. I will change to an electric car in the coming 18 months. I have put Skoda Epiq, Hyundai Inster, Renault 4 E-Tech and Kia EV3 on my list. I wish that Citroën made an electric new version of the Citroën C4 Grand Picasso seven seater. Come on, Citroën.

Any time you spec a European rival to the standards that KIA/Hyundai and BYD, you find that European comes in at between 10K and 20K more expensive, and it seems that the only European country which is intending to produce reasonably priced, dedicated EVs is Renault. Stelantis just don't seem interested and although VAG has a dedicated EV chassis, their base trim levels are dreadful and they rapidly become way overpriced as soon as you look at anything else. I mean, seriously, an iD3 specced to the same standard as an MG4 costs significantly MORE that a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or KIA EV6!

BTW, I am not in the least interested in any of the "multi fuel" vehicles. I see absolutely no point in dedicating an entire compartment of an EV to an engine that isn't even going to be there. That means that the C3 is not even in the running. The R5 is expected at pretty much the exact same price as the EV3 where I am. And the base EV3 will almost certainly come with a far higher spec than the R5. It certainly has more power and more claimed range as well as significantly better performance. From what I've seen, the Inster has similar performance to the R5 nad would appear to have significantly better rear room.

The Expensive Car Supplement will hit cars over £40 k which means the majority of EV cars. This will by default, favour Chinese brands - European manufacturers need to consider the need for long range sub £40 k cars.
This is mainly a UK market thing. The Scenic with the big battery starts around £37k in continental markets, the Elroq and EV3 with the big battery cost around £35k.
So the improvement to the Ami is... not a single thing that's actually useful for the default versions? They haven't made it lighter, or more efficient, or cheaper? I can't even...
No comment on whether the Mobilize Duo will be RHD in the UK. If not, it's a joke. Can't find confirmation online either way, so I think we can assume it is going to be LHD only.
I like the look of cars the VW group are threatening to release in the next year or two such as the Skoda Epiq and the VW ID2. Small, relatively affordable cars with an evolution of the classic good looks of earlier VW models. It's a shame they aren't coming out now instead of this slew of gimmicky would-be retro Stellantis models. The Kia EV 3 looks like a Lego brick. 🙄
One Huge problem with Citroen… Stellantis! Good looking cars but with some horrible engineering decisions and poor business model maximising profit at all costs
Too much surface deep changes, for Citroen in particular there's nothing really to write home about and that's deeply disappointing. A new SUV just makes things worse.
Sorry but the ami disability car reminds me of the blue inva cars not good very bad very limiting like say disabled people cannot have proper car only quadracycle
