Great lap Arkeys! Looks like a challenging tt. I may have to work harder for gold on this one than the AMG tt lol. That AMG tt is fun, No asm or counter steer assists allowed and racing soft tires. Oh and they fixed tt at high speed ring, you can no longer touch the walls at all 😎
Thanks Chris! I really enjoy that little car! I am afraid the AMG TT will be tough for me as neither GR3 or Laguna Seca are strong for me lol. Will try that on Monday whilst avoiding the upcoming Race A at SSRX like the plague 😆
@@arkeys74 I think you might be surprised on how well you'll do in the AMG at Laguna. Imo FR Gr3 cars are much more stable with these new physics. That AMG is nice and stable with the racing soft tyres, only took me a hand full of laps to get gold.
@@Chris_Stratohawk_Cook we’ll see how it goes, I have also heard complaints about the steering on the controller getting even slower, so that could be a challenge. Didn’t feel it that much on this TT, so we’ll see 😃
oh well well my favourite video is out a V6 and Bathurst :D that is either gonna be a pleasure or carnage. Definetely wont be missing trying it out today. The Black AMG one is torture :D
Thanks man! Have fun trying is one, it is actually alright 😃 I will try the AMG challenge after the weekend, as the next week’s Daily A is SSRX again!!! Can’t be bothered with that 😃
@@arkeys74 Well i must say the Clio one wasnt actually bad i managed to top 1 second off your time which was hard by itself :D so well done! on this one on doing .32 in it
Wow you got into 350th for the Roadster. I have a very hard time with an understeering car like that one. This Renault is a much better drive compared to the past 4 weeks' cars. Mt. Panorama is a torture for those who haven't yet figured it out the track, but once figured out, it feels easier than the Tokyo highways. On the other hand, the game is giving us a lot of TTs these past weeks, and to be frank, I am interested to give them a try, only that I cannot afford the time to do so due to work and personal engagements. Additionally, I do hope they could reduce the universal understeering. It really feel strange driving the BMW at Nordschlefie with very little assists on...
The roadster is just hugely overpowered to its handling abilities. It was also a big auto box disadvantage as it required a lot of high gears out of corners as well as short shifting at the middle of the Rev bar on the long back straight. With me quickly being 2 sec slower than the fastest times at Mount Panorama just shows how much time there is to find and especially how crucial it is to get a good run into the back straight. The Clio felt lovely there though, so need to go back to that TT and see what I can do 😃 Regarding the Nordschleife CE, I tried it again the other day and could certainly feel I had to lift more in some of the fast corners, but as far as I know they have turned down the aero effect in general, so that could also be the explanation for the increased understeer. Apart from that it feels easier to do now (maybe also because of personal improvements over time), but I am currently at a 6:30.xxx compared to my previous low 6:33 or high 6:32 (on my two EMEA accounts).
@@arkeys74 If remember correctly, you didn't get to try the Subaru TT right? That one is particularly annoying because the BOP adjustment made it nearly 2 times more powerful and heavy and require a lot more short shifting to get the best out of it. That few weeks' TT definitely carry the flavour that understeered cars are purposely thrown in at tracks with S curves to harass the controller AT players. I hope this wouldn't become a norm from here on, as I always feel that no one is going to intentionally make a car heavily understeered in a race with lots of S curves. I used to drive the BMW at the Nord with ASM and counter steer on, but now, without both them, I managed a mid 6:33 on my third complete run (and still with room of improvement), which feels a bit strange as it used to be so slidy if I don't put the assists on. Currently I target to get below 6:30 but I will have to do it step by step.....
No never got to try the WRX Challenge (and a few others I think). GG on your continuous progress on Nords. It took me many attempts to complete a lap, as I haven’t been doing that challenge for a long time, but once I completed the lap it was in the 30’s
Updated lap - 2:31.637

I don’t know how I feel about day before practise, the summer shows have changed you 😂
Haha still finding my feet again on this game, so I consider myself excused 😂
I forsee a lot of wall action when I try this.
The walls are tasty lol 😃

I appreciate the straightforward, unfiltered and authentic nature of your video content. I recommend keeping them like this.
Thanks a lot man! I prefer to keep it straight forward rather than trying to pretend I am something I can’t live up to in the long run 😉👍
