My mum's favourite singer. I remember being "forced" to listen to Barry when i was a kid, as she was always playing his LP's. Thanks for the memories Steve!
Hi Mr. Steve . . . . . . . . when i was an undergradutate college student at the University of Mississippi - - Ole Miss - - from the years 1972-1976 Barry Manilow actually performed in the coliseum on our campus . . . that was when Barry was very early in his career, but i will never forget what a phenomenal show he put on for his audience . . . Barry Manilow was and is simply a master entertainer in every possible aspect . . . thank you for "Mandy" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . Danny in Mississippi
Your gift is that you _improve_ the classic songs we grew up with. For me, this song was a secret guilty pleasure, when me and my friends were 'tough guys' into Aerosmith & Led Zeppelin. *Thank you and good luck with your upcoming medical procedure.*
Cheers - I'll add it to my list but it might be a few months now (I'm due to go back into hospital for a couple of weeks to get my leg fixed this month so production will have to stop)
A piano-intro worthy to have been put in the studio-version of this great track. Almost on par with his piano-intro on his live version of "Could It Be Magic", where he explained he got inspired by Chopin! Thanks for all the great work you do with these, for me, so familiar tracks!
@@grandadsteves5543 I seek this luck, congratulations and continue to be inspired by this feeling, which invigorates the world and produces beautiful mixes. Hugs

Listen to it 50/60 times like I have to and you'll get used to it haha. I know what you mean but they are actually all from the original song - so unless there's something wrong with the track that I ripped/downloaded I'm not about to change Mr Manilow's arrangements.
This song always makes me sad in a nostalgic sort of way……… Barry was fresh and just beginning on a long successful career - and now has grown old and feeble and no longer releases music …….. It saddens me
I know, but that's just the circle of life. If we're lucky, we all get older and frail, but then have the pleasure of passing the baton onto the younger ones following along.
That ending was mind blowing
Cheers
