As a man with a daughter I think a woman has the right to make a man wait however long she wants to. I don't care if she is a virgin or not. Oh my goodness, Im married, been married for 15 years when I share with my single friends how my relationship is they tell me I couldn't do that, they in the late 30's. I'm not a teacher. And I stated my mom gave me the advice about Steve Harvey's book. Also, I gave both engagement rings back. Just wanted to clear that up. I know I have a lot to learn and am not perfect by any means. But I'm definitely trying to be a better person for whatever my future holds.

So many of these sisters have been engage so many times because of their mentality having big wedding. I remember telling my ex I wanted to get married in a court house, she had a fit. Why spend 20k to 30k to flex instead of using that money for multiple trips.
It was the opposite for me. I wanted to go to the court house to get married to my ex for our 2nd year of dating cause we grew up together. He told me he wanted to give me a big wedding. After 6 years I left because I knew it wasn't happening. My mom gave my dad a 5 year limit. And my dad married her before 5 years. They spent 23 years married until she died 27 yeas ago.
If she only wanted a wedding, she wouldn't have broken off the engagement.
