If you went to the concert in Nashville, Tennessee not too long ago, and if you remember the flashing lights from a cellphone during the intermissions, that was me up in the nosebleeds that started it. I can feel the struggle in the lyrics it really speaks to me when you try to overcome yourself every time you succeed something else fails and sets you back making it feel as if your effort wasn't worth shit at the end when in reality you have came a long way but it still makes you wonder what you've doing wrong

The answer to the question of the (lyrics writer of the song) could be: "Yes, the sun will rise (again) as soon as you get over yourself... Do not cling on to old emotions and create new memories with the one you want to be with (in respect to what you are told is needed) or move on completely when failing reflection back when you tried it all.. Completely neglecting yourself because of a desire can become obsessive compulsiveness. In any way ... own the moment and then you truly own it. It's not easy to get to that point. (my humble point of view) (I hope I wasn't preaching to the choir!, but I hope someone reads this and gets inspired by it, finds hope in it or finds comfort in it.

Reminds me of how fucked up my life was and how much I hated living. Depression sucks and even though I'm getting better now it still will always haunt me...five finger death punch got me through those times. And this song hits me hard.

I love this song! I only wish they would've written a different chorus... but the verses are awesome and especially the second verse is one of Ivan's best work vocally imo

Been listening to these guys since I was in 6th grade, when I thought I was cool and edgy. Still love these guys at the age of 21 for so many other reasons. This song is one of them. I never gave up on Ivan when he was at his low, and needed support the most. He's human, just like the rest of us, and I can hear it in these songs. Can't wait to see you guys in August.

Been listening to these guys since I was in 6th grade, when I thought I was cool and edgy. Still love these guys at the age of 21 for so many other reasons. This song is one of them. I never gave up on Ivan when he was at his low, and needed support the most. He's human, just like the rest of us, and I can hear it in these songs. Can't wait to see you guys in August.
