@Christina Reynolds Uppn reflection my "amen" was not meant to put a plug in for the flesh worship so prevalent among Christian's these days. Personally, I genuinely despise sports as it is idolatrous. I've seen too many of my own people loose out over sports. Health is something we desperately need however. How well I know that as I was out of the ministry 14 years because my health was so poor, and I have a son who has been unable to do little much of anything over his health since 17 and has been so 21 years. I'll agree we've gone off on the deep end with this health, and wealth, "gain is Godliness" foolishness. Yet I'm sure Jesus still feels compassion for us in our sufferings here just as He always has. Finally, as for exercise, personally my preference is walking. You know, it is interesting to me that in scripture God had more to say about WALKING than any other kind of exercise. However, of this WALKING our world has not a clue superior though it is in every way to body, soul, and spirit. You see this is a special kind of walking? Just what kind of walking could this be? In fact my grandfather could do, and did do this kind of walking all the way to age 100 blind,, deaf, and bedfast . And really, when you think about it, doesn't any poor little Saint of the Lord who walks with God even though confined to a wheel chair have far more sane regard for their health than any silly little half nacked fella or gal who goes running down the street dodging cars every Sunday morning?
