depends how tall you are, sadly thats the reality in small space vans and these units are the height of the wheel arches to maximise room. These customers were on the shorter side so all good!
Just got my 72 plate. Starlight Blue metallic. Big Bluey. Driving it for a bit. Just to get a feel for the van. Type approval for a full pop top? in the UK? Hammock from the roof. Futon on pallets. Lightweight seats. Euro n cap. Seat belts in rear seats. No luxury. Apart from a shower & integral toilet. All in plastic. Fantastic. I'm a barbie guy. In a Buzz Di No a normal guy. What is that these days. Terry.
You’ll need the beds when you drive for a couple of hpurs, run out of charge, can’t find a charger or one that works and have to wait for a tow truck to take you home. I can walk further than this van can drive on a single charge!
Here’s a thought. Most campsites have electric hookups with 16amp plugs. Get a lead made up that plugs into that & your battery will be full in the morning 😉
@@hughmarcus1 in the world of EVs, that is known as ‘granny charging’. My home charger is 7kW max and that gives a modest overnight charge of around 15-20kWh at its average of 3-4kW output. This VW needs much greater range to start with. The latest batteries are giving better range.

Lads, you need a word with your gaffer. Its about time he got you a nice draft proof shed to work in.
haha aye thats a good shout!
I wish we had workmanship like this in Brisbane Australia.
That looks amazing, a really nice job.
Thank you very much!
Fabulous guys 👌 love it all.
Thank you 🙌
Nice build. !
Would be great to have a tarp on the sides.
That would be cool!
Incredible ❤
thanks!
so cool!
Thanks!🙏
Lovely job guys… shame the ID Buzz is electric and not a hybrid or ICE. Yours is the best solution for the lack of space that I have seen so far. 😁👍🏻
We agree!
If you want hybrid buy the multi van. The ID Buzz is a ground up EV.
But only if your an umpalumpa..quality build but wasted in this particular vehicle, but each to their own, enjoy.
If you want a hybrid you can just buy a T7… The whole point of the ID Buzz is that it is electric.
Why didn't you remove the partition? Many greetings from Hannover Stöcken, where your Buzz was built 😊
Thanks! The customer preferred to keep it in 🙌
@@theplyguyshow gets the cargo space heated/cooled ?
Doesnt look like you could sit in that sofa without hitting the roof?

Stunning! Would it be possible to have a bed for two (medium sized people) and room for two MTB inside this with the right build? Thanks!
Unfortunately not its a small space so really 1 bike and two adults
@@theplyguys Thanks.

"lean practice" - but so much needless excess weight through poor design
thanks for the feedback Will, what would you have preferred we did for the customer?
Its only a van for Christ sake not the holy grail
