Awesome shots and video! I want my next vacation to be in Scotland doing the same thing. Of course followed by visiting some of Islay's distilleries. Cheers from Vancouver

RUclips only just told me about you. You are doing what we'll be doing next year, though we are retiring to do it! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing but those crumpets were well underdone for us and they didn't look like they had enough butter either lol. The OH is not a photographer but he is an ex-chef so I get back to cooked breakfasts :-)

Thanks for another great video. I really enjoyed it.
Having a gal who will hike up those steep hills with you that early in the morning, AND who will provide breakfast up on that hillside is about as good as it gets. Hurray for Bee!
As a photographer, I really appreciated the photography run-down. You have a great rig.
I have a Canon T3i, with an L Series 16-35mm. The body I'm about to upgrade. The lens is all I need. Manfrodo don't make no trash, but weight = stability in a tripod, so it's a trade-off between stability versus portability.
    Thanks for taking us along.

Let you know what I think of your videos? Okay my first thought is, you've only got 4k subscribers? Your videos are so great to watch I expect that to increase rapidly! You don't get many thumbs down on your videos and that's for a good reason also. I'd like to understand how to use light in your images (something I've noticed no-one describes in other vlogs - not that I watch that many to make a fuss over). I noticed that the sunset was on the left and it was against the rocks which was really cool.

Great video Theo & Bee, I've really enjoyed the technical stuff on this one. As a photographer I can see the advantages of van life to be at the locations to take some great images you have captured. Keep the videos coming!!

Great video. I've been wanting to see/learn more about how you go about capturing your images so I'm really happy to hear you intend doing more vids like this one. I'd also like to see more of the images you've actually captured. Can't wait for the next one :)

Wow, I have to say it was the best vlog so far! It was similar to Thomas Heaton landscape photography vlogs!
BTW really nice pictures, great location and framing (but IMHO reds are a little bit over saturated).

Just got a cannon D3200 it's my first camera and I find it so complicated!! There's so many features and two lenses one for closeup one for far away but the closeup one is longer in size it's like it's the opposite of what makes sense lol! I'm struggling to use it. It came with a cd and a book. Maybe I'll try and watch the cd. Thanks for the video! Wish me luck!

I liked this video Theo. As a portrait photographer, I don't have much experience with landscape photography and I would love to learn. Kudos to Bee for getting up early with you to film your work! :)

Really great to hear that Wendy Mayo, hope this video offered some insight into landscape photography :) She got to enjoy sunrise from an epic location so it was worth the early rise and steep hike!

Guys, a question: I'd like to go to the Cullin in April, is it Ok? I suspect that most of the shot in the recent video of Yuri Palma on youtube and in Prometheus by Ridley Scott have been done there, seems more than amazing

Nice video, I think. You're doing pretty much exactly what I'm going to be doing here in Norway/Finland in a year. Living in a van and taking photos. :) It was funny to see I'm not the only one who has a hard time letting go of the camera in a beautiful place. The perfect shot might be just ... around ... the corner. It's nice cause the camera forces you to get up early when the light is perfect and explore new areas with eyes that look for beauty, so that's also what you'll see. I would personally have pitched a sturdy tent on top of that hill and taken photos all night. But the again I like my tent and I like taking nighttime pictures.
Very nice photographs btw! Do you have any general tips when it comes to landscape photography?
Here's some pictures from a hike I did two months ago: imgur.com/gallery/4v2Ay
    PS. Keep those horizons STRAIGHT!
