actually, we use 羽(わ) for rabbits. This is usually used for birds.
but many japanese make mistake and use ひき like many other animals.

Its funny because i was literally trying to figure out what "There are 5 chairs" would be in Japanese and decided an explanation video would be best. Thank you for helping me cheat on one Duolingo question and be prepared to figure out how it all works when i can fully wrap my head around it. Enough trying and it will stick someday soon lol. Just gotta keep at it. 先生、ありがとうございます!

    Hi George先生.
    Thank you for useful video.
4:31 冊 isn't used for ALL PRINTED MATERIAL.
For example , 枚(まい) is used for Posters , it's printed.
And If you bind billion blank papers for memo pad , It' will be called "1冊".perhaps , perhaps .... maybe ?
I think , 冊 is used for objects which is filed and has pages.
    I'm wating next videos.

I would also add the "TOU" counter. That's not true that HIKI is the classifier for almost all the animals. If I were to generalize like that, I would mention both of them - HIKI and TOU.

    Shoe is kutsu「くつ」靴
And 9 is kokonotsu「九つ」but also may be pronounced kutsu with a mistake...
Not really confident about that, but i don't see another explanation !

This type of set, just like the hitokoto, in my opinion is the absolute best. The words are nice and big and he uses kanji. I wish the japanese from zero series would've been done in this exact same way :( :(

Oh I see. Damn 4K lol. Since my internet (along with everyone else's here in Venezuela, and most people don't have 4k screens) is so slow, the quality in 720, or even 480 looks excellent; I can't imagine how much better it'd look on 4K....

Hey, I have a question. I am using a Japanese course book right now, but it only goes up to N5 level. I am thinking of what to do afterwards and thought I´d give your books a try.
Do you have a recommendation on which book to purchase after having reached N5?

Do these counters are the only counters that used in Japanese?
Cause I hear 巻 in book counting from a Japanese person!
If 巻 is used to count books so, what's the difference between ~さつ and ~巻?

    • @masayama1618
      @masayama1618 7 лет назад +1

      Hi Baraa Abbadiさん.
What situation did you hear 巻 ?
Do you ask the reason for the Japanese person ?
      Okay, I think , 巻 means a part of series ,
and 冊 is counter for physical books.
      Keep it up.
