Greeting from China, great video Lawerence. The Raid product you bought is legit, both the AC device and the refills mat. I remember my parents had those when I was a kid, later changing to liquid mosquito repellent like the other Thermacell model. Many campers in China also use the same concept. They changed the Thermacell mats to the Raid ones (or some other local brands), and it works well.
One other note, the Chinses Raid AC device (Along with many different brands from China) is compatible with American Type A wall sockets, i.e., 2 pins plug. China uses 220V, and the US uses 110V, so that's no safety issue here. If the device sells on eBay or Alibaba or Amazon shows they are using a 2 pins plug, just like your iPad and iPhone AC adapter, then it will work 100% in the US, no adapter needed.

Hi L. I am from Finland, i have seen in Lapland men to do coke can as a heater of the pads. Simply cut the hole in can and put little candle inside and then put in top of can pad whits heats. Simply but clever no gas at all. Can you do us video about it.

No adapter is needed for the US plugs. China uses the same 2-pin configuration as the US, so if the image shows the device has the same pin as your cellphone charger, then it will work. I remember all the mosquitoes device sold in China using the 2 pin plugs, but if you saw any product from China that uses 3 pins, then don't buy it, the 3-pin plug in China is just like the Australian wall socket, it won't fit the US plug, or you have to buy an adapter for the Chinese 3-pin products.
