I have no quarrel with your reasons for why Mozart used the rule of three. But, we do need to remember that this was around before Free Masonry and the Illuminati. Even fairy tales use the rule of three... The Three Little Pigs comes to mind. Also in many story telling genres, repetition by threes is used; two failures and success at last, two times insisting on the wrong direction and punishment follows etc.
As a composer solo singer, I just don't sing anything. The music and the wording of the magic flute just don't fit. I often hear this discrepancy. Was Mozart an evil person? I guess so, as his life discription and his choices shows us this. Evil talents die early as history shows us. When love, goodness and kindness disappears from opera's, I turn away. Being 67, almost double the age of Mozart, I still enjoy singing and playing for my guests. I don't record them, don't write them down. My music creations are for the moment. Nobody will hear them again. Just imagine what Mozart would have created if he had been a good person and lived up to a great age. His choices and curses killed him, before he could do real damage to others. Free masonry in his music? A bit far fetched perhaps. How did Mozart become so evil? Example of his father probably. When you only care about fame and money, you get it shortly and die.
I would LOVE a more detailed vid on the magic flute!
How does this not have more views?! I love this analysis and especially someone who loves classical music this much!
It will.
Excellent Fun
Love your analysis and the free masonry stuff

Past, present, future comes to mind.
I mean, I don’t think it ever was. The romantic era has pretty much every titular character committing suicide
Diana Damrau is awesome
Not funny? I just went in Atlanta and the audience roared, young and old.
