Beautiful new version ❤️ the illustrations are wonderful too!
I appreciate it! And I agree, Darryl is so talented with her artwork.
I absolutely love this version and the name. It’s beautiful. I feel the spirit and most importantly, it testifies In title, song and the spirit that our Savior is always with us. Thank you for your goodness and thank heaven for blessing you with such great talents.
Thank you 💖WONDERFUL SONG💖💖💖
Thank you!
Beautiful ❗
Thanks for listening!
Thanks so much for writing & sharing these songs! The illustrations are wonderful, too! My children loved learning about the gospel through music, esp. Scripture Scouts! They grew up so fast (25-16) and now I'm looking forward to grandbabies (no announcements yet 😉)! As I listened to this song, the Spirit testified that the Lord was in our home as I did my best to teach them the gospel & help them prepare for the future. I know He blessed me with His grace to accomplish the work He needed me to do as their mother. It made me cry tears of joy! I'm so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ & the covenants He makes with us! I know He is with us to help us! 💕
First grandbaby--a boy!--coming in April 2023! 😍
I wish others knew the power of staying faithful to Christ…the strength, and the power we receive from Christ. We MUST remain faithful to Christ!!
Thanks for including the lyrics. We've been trying to learn this song for our Primary Program, and I've been struggling with this one.
Love this, is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
Hi, I love ❤️ your songs about the scriptures, the stories, the gospel…the examples, and Christ, our supreme example!!
This is about beautiful. Makes me tear up every time I hear it.
I love how personal it is (although the original version is still great)
I love this, it’s beautiful. There are so many great songs you have done this year I am struggling to choose which to include in our primaries singing time :D love the illustrations too, gorgeous, thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us x
This message made me so happy. Thank you for your kinds words - I really appreciate your support in my music.

@mariasoledadricacho4799 - Amen!
Love this. Thank you for sharing your talent. Where can we purchase the sheet music?
I appreciate your thoughtful words. You can find the sheet music at my website, shawnaedwardsmusic.com.
Can I show this in our stake women's conference on covenants? It's beautiful! Thank you for creating it.
This is beautiful! Who does the art work for you? I would love a copy of the picture at the end of Christ with all the children.
Thanks for the comment and question! The illustrations are done by Darryl Quinn @thesundaysketchbook. I'm glad you like them!
I get it. The people drawn have no eyes, so they have to live by faith, not by sight.
So nice song
Where can i have the minus one
Sorry for the late response! Here is a link to the minus track!

I’m so torn! I love the original and the new. I love the personal, striving nature of the new version, but, like another person has said I love the oringinal’s focus on us being a part of the House of Israel which President Nelson has been focusing on so much. The original sings like an anthem of the Lord’s Youth Battalion!!
I agree completely!
I will always be grateful for people like you - who are graciously thankful for the music, but also willing to be totally honest about it. Thank you! I changed it to cater to a broader Christian audience, but I agree with you about the power of the piece about the House of Israel. I am going to stick with the new version, but you are welcome to sing or use the the original lyrics if that is what you prefer.
Why is the simplified version I printed out different from this version? I'm soo confused!
Katharine, there are two versions of this song. It's my fault you're confused. Sorry about that!! Let me know which version you want, if it's different from what you have, and I will email it to you.
@@ShawnaEdwardsMusic Is there a video for the shorter version?
I left my bag with the copies inside at home today and we don't know the 2nd verse all that well. I figured the video would help me.
This is good, but the original with "we're part of the house of Israel" is so much better. It flows better, it's more unique and and teaches kids in a simple way what it means to be the house of Israel.
That's fair. I appreciate your feedback as I try to decide which one to keep out there. Here's the original one, if you haven't seen it: ruclips.net/video/5g-VwoTFAPM/видео.html
I feel like youth these days need identity and being part of something bigger than themselves. The rise in the music at the identifying statement of "we're part of the House of Israel" touched me deeply. This song is powerful and unique. I've already indroduced my primary to the original version, and I'm torn between my own impressions and wanting to honor Shawna as the songwriter. I can definitely see value in both versions.
@@jccasady You have almost convinced me. Thank you so much. And PLEASE -- you teach whatever version you want. Don't worry about 'honoring me.' I love your thoughts...especially about youth wanting/needing to belong to something bigger than themselves!
@@jccasady I have had all of the same thoughts. I love the power in the statement and the music as "part of the House of Israel." I too also want to honor what Shawna felt the song should be since she is the songwriter and inspired to write this beautiful song.
Hi Shawna! This version is lovely! I teach seminary and love using primary songs as our devotional songs. I wanted to watch the other one to compare but access is private. Could you grant me permission? Your work is lovely! Thanks for sharing your amazing gifts!
