  • I won't lie to you, this is probably the most passion and energetic i've ever played this piece. It always forces me to play with all my heart and embrace the emotion needed to help it connect with the audience. I have to learn how to control it a little better, but I was proud to see myself come out of my shell and really put my heart into the performance.
You see I chose an interesting day to post this 😂 Piece is scary, ain't it?

With these romantic composers, I think it is important to have a little flexibility with the meter/pace of the pieces so you can infuse the feeling and emotion the pieces deserve. You succeeded in this. Just lovely. I wish I could still play - I miss my grand piano - broken tendons and age, oh well. I can listen to you.

@@nicermguy1 That’s such a sweet comment, thank you so much!! I think that’s what I love the most about romantic era music. So much room to express different tempos and dynamics!! I’m thankful to God that I can play the piano; it’s a beautiful instrument.

yeah there is such much room for expression with this piece. the dramatic octaves, the vocal-like melody, the ever-building agitato section… it isn’t technically difficult but it does demand a lot from the pianist. I enjoy it personally 😊
