For everyone that's requested a tutorial of this over the last 6 years, you're in luck! I've also made the backing track and tab available :)

What's that gorgeous tele you were playing? It looks old and sounded amazing!
@@cgavin1 it's a Telecaster vintage 52 AVRI. I wonder what amp he uses though?
@@ysius i think, his main amps are a victory v30 and a blackstar artist30
Buck And Evans love this! any chance on a bass tab for this?
@@danielschafhautle1691 V40
This might be one of the best Telecaster tones I have ever heard.
hahaha man its a strat
just recorded the vid on a tele
Callum Waldock it’s a tele .. watch the video dude
He said in an interview they filmed him using a tele as a string broke on the strat he actually recorded it on
@@aftershockrock12 Video sure doesn't look as if he's miming.
Thank you for all of the amazing comments guys! I'm really glad you're enjoying it and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment :-)
Still enjoying it!!! Its buckin' goooooood!!
that was buckin' amazing.
LOL
And you’re Buckin right it was amazing
Happy 10 year anniversary for this amazing guitar cover. Still love listening to it. Thanks Chris
Love Chris
I speak for everyone when I say I wish I could hit the like button a thousand times
agree!
oh yeah
Can't believe this was 11 years ago still love listening to this. Magic.
It's refreshing to see the younger generations appreciate the music from mine.
Your timing and choice of notes , along with dynamics and emotion are exceptional ! Hats off to you my friend ! From a fellow guitar player in the USA !
Superb! and so inspirational! It's the sort of piece that you can't wait to grab hold of friends and say "You gotta listen to this!"
exactly
This is one of my lesser favorite Stones tunes but Chris has given it a sinister sound that is killer. Don't walk down a dark alley if you hear this playing.
keep comin back to this song every few months and still love it
Dude, you have helped me bust out of one of the longest ruts I've been in during my entire guitar playing journey. You reminded me of a fundamental aspect in my own playing I somehow forgot while lost in noodling...the guitar has its own voice and it's our job as players to coax it out and bring them to life, let them truly sing. You reminded me of that and I'm not just back on track, I've just made one of the most vital breakthroughs in my guitar playing journey, fluency in the language of music. This instrument is really becoming an extension of my own self and you helped me get there. Thank you. You are truly an inspiration.
I’m late to the party and wanted to say something profound but...too speechless! Wow, just wow...
you just did
WTF?? That was ridiculous!! Few people blow me away.. nice work
Hair hanging on your git, that was cool as shit!
Man such a groovy feel and the tones are magic. Had me replaying this again and again.
What a touch ! Everything is good, groove feeling and tone !!
Fantastic version of "Miss You" - listened to it while having my breakfast on a hot Friday 25th May and it gave me goosebumps! I would buy a cd of covers by Chris in an instant. Great video as well!
Absolutely mind blowing!
Just magnificent - tone and phrasing goodness. This is just awesome.
breathtaking! Great feeling great emotion great vibrations keep up the good work!
Never overstated, yet unmistakably Chris Buck. Love it
Man oh man!!! I don't even know how to put it in words. The passion and emotion along with taking me from one bluesy feeling to the ferociousness of bues/rock tones of probably ONE of the best I've ever heard. When someone can make you ( FEEL ) by the playing of guitar like that...., well there are no words for it
Awsomeness!!!Awesomeness!!!! I wish I had that much talent.
Shivers down my spine.... Well done!
I was initially going to write a long winded explanation as to how good this is, but I've decided to just say this....it's like an acid trip, trying to explain how great it is kind of takes away from the evanescence, you just gotta experience it yourself.
Seriously man hearing this for the first time was almost on par to when I heard Voodoo Chile for the first time. A shame this has only 70k views and very few people will ever appreciate not only your incredible playing skill, but also your ability to "Badassify" an already badass song from a band that had few badass songs in my opinion.
Eric Johnson still a pretty long message... 😂
It is simply an excellent instrumental redition of classic Stones psychedelic drugs notwithstanding. I prefer "shrooms." Peace 😎
@@magicdaveable I prefer both at the same time! Shrooms are imo way more easy going and recreational, but they're just such a hassle to eat enough of em to get real _oUt ThErE_ so I find myself usually passing on em, but if you take some tabs with em you only have to eat half as much for twice the fun
70K is still a lot of people
Mucho texto, buen video y listo, dejate de joder
Absolutely fantastic! Love it!
This has to be one of the best arrangements of this iconic song you'll ever encounter... thanks, Chris.
No words so will just listen.... again and again!
Superb piece of music, loving it. Can't wait to see this guy perform live.
This is exactly what it should be. Enjoyed every note of it.
Utterly stunning.
What great playing absolutely awesome Chris one of my favorite songs
Absolutely brilliant ! I played blues and listened blues guitar for more than 20 years ...
This was simply wonderful!
amazing player im a fan now ,he pushes the right buttons
from guitarist to guitarist. You have so much creative control and skills .its just great watching you. Thank you for this video.
AMAZING!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
DAMN inspiring......simply tasty TONE & touch! Great work!
I like your playing. Really dynamic and... just superb.
Right now, I’m finding it very hard to breathe. That damn solo just stole my breath away. I love my Fender Tele and I’ve never heard anyone play one so well. This was magic in the making, thank you Chris. As a guitarist in the 60’s, I grew up with ‘Clapton is God’. Sorry, Eric, time to move aside for a new idol…
for me, this is the best improvisation ever...
can't get enough....
Amazing. Really love your style.
Starts out jazzy and then rocks it.
I heard Rock described as Freedom, I'm feeling it.
Started playing guitar in 2016 and this video is one that pushed me to do it! Thank you Chris Buck!🤘
Beautiful! Amazing feel.
Nice cover, slow and bluesy. Great job, keep up the good work. Love it! Amazing version, ty.
Great style! Love it
Where else is there such a soil? Beautiful alone. Great job, man.
👏👏👏👏👏🎸🎧🎶
That bass line underlines his fantastic playing even more. Superb feel and vibrato, almost fusion-ish...wow!
Could listen to this all day long
Absolutely brilliant; feel and phrasing perfection. Great vid too.
This is beautiful!
This is the stuff that I can appreciate. A smooth, fluid, seamless approach at applying an instrumental blues lick to a song that never cared for when it came out. And f#@%ing tone for days. I really hope that sometime down the road I get to witness all you do in person.
man, once i started listening to the video,
i couldn't stop it, i had to hear it to the very end!
thanks for the video!
awesome!!! played right in heart
3:47 minutes of pure soul! Great job chris!
Just stellar!
very cool arrangement nice to hear a fresh version of this song
Best Stones cover for me along with Muddy Waters and David Bowie (not together) doing let's Spend the Night Together. Crazy good. Who the Jeffin" hell is Chris Buck and how have I only just discovered him? A freakin force of nature. Born too late.
THERE SHOULD BE A LOVE THIS ICON TO CLICK ON!!!!! CHRIS BUCK RIPS THIS!!!
So very nicely done. Smooth. Thanks.
Several years ago when I saw this video for the first time, I instantly knew it was something special. Had no clue who Chris Buck was, but I was an instant fan. Congrats on 250k!!
Man, your sound is incredibly inspiring. Thanks!
Video quality, edit and sound, are top notch for 2012.
The fast players aren’t necessarily the best players and Chris just demonstrated that on another plane. You are one of the best freestyle, improvisational musicians that I have ever seen!
I agree... his feel and phrasing is other-worldly.
Wow. Chris, you are superb. 🖐️👏👏👏
currently studying this - it is quite an eye opener for many
If you had asked me at any point in the past if I thought someone could possibly make Miss You sound even better, I would've said "no, that's one of my all-time favorites, it's untouchable."
But now I've heard this cover.
Hory SHET son! I'm a grown ass man and this got *_MY_* panties drippin! That tone is so good _it_ plays _you_ !
Fantastic feel
Nice rendition of the epic song. Yes three year old video but still finding its way to new people such as myself. Great playing.
Buck and Evans were fantastic at the Ramblin' Man Fair. A brilliant live band.
+LennyJohnson5 Due to the absence of any new live shows at the minute, I am quite jealous you saw them at Ramblin' Man. I think they'd be fantastic live.
Great tone great note frazing great feel a joy to listen to thank you sir
Huge !l! Thank you so much for sharing !!
BRAVO, c'est la perfection à l'état pur.
Unreal playing love the walkdowns, and the hair dustin up the fret board, a long haired welshman rockin out!~
Great feel and tone!
Simply Excellent!
This is magic Chris xx Gives me goosebumps.
Such a feeling ! !!! AWESOME !!!
You are UNBELIEVABLE!!! You master those strings. WOW, Want to hear and see more! Please!
Don’t know who you are, Chris, but you have Got The Fire! That is fierce! And very beautiful! playing, just stellar!
Man, your dynamic playing is just awesome. Really very good cover :)
Holy hell that was awesome...
Chris Buck is my favorite guitar player!
Still listening to this in 2021 😊
Awesome ! Excellent job
Any guitar in this man's hands sounds effing awesome!!! He's my FAVORITE guitarist!
And I saw Page, Beck and Clapton live, and they didn't hold a candle to Mr. Buck!
How can I miss you when you just keep getting better?
Des années aprés avoir découvert ce guitariste de talent, je me régale toujours autant de l'accompagner à la basse, c'est que du bonheur tellement ça groove !
I like this video just for one reason, there's no LOVE button...Absolutely amazing, this vid' made my day...O_o
Wow this is a great playing
How often does someone take a really good song and make it freakin AMAZING!
...superb playing,loved it!
Wow this is incredible
If that doesn’t make you want to grab a guitar and play, nothing will. Thanks Mr. Buck👍🏻
Great playing, Love it..
Amazing. I only wish I had your skills.
